Just completed another batch of your Sweet and Sour Chicken (had Sweet and Spicy last week), but this is what I'll be making next Sunday. Keep up the great work, Chef
I served this for dinner, and everyone loved it! Only substitution, was to omit the cucumber in the sauce and add more garlic. Everything had so much flavor. Thank you for the great recipe!
Great recipe, Chef. I do think that it's missing some veggies, though. It would be so easy to add peas (extra protein), onions, peppers, and even broccoli or carrots in there to make it a balanced, nutrient dense meal prep recipe.
Done and soo delicious👍🏼... Thank you for my today's lunch and for next 4 days. Absolutely fantastic . Now i am wondering what to do with the rest of dill and parsley🤔 how to keep ? Both fridge?
I absolutely love chicken and rice dishes ( especially spicy ones) definitely going to make this. P.S, your cauliflower cheese is the best ive ever tasted. As a matter of fact, ive cooked nearly all of your recipes, and not been disappointed with any of them. I always click the like button even though i dont often leave a comment. Thank you for all your hard work.
Jack I’m not the best in the kitchen all your prep meals I’ve done ,👍this is because you make it simple to follow and explain well so thank you this one I’m doing today
This might be a silly question but as I'd like to make one serving at a time, and this makes 5 servings, do I just cut all the ingredients to one fifth? Say, 200g of chicken, 1,2 tsp of onion powder, and so forth?
When I make bulk Tatziki (based on 1kg of yohurt) I use a Rosti grater (Borner brand was available at my local kitchen store), then salt that and let it drain in a collander for an hour or so rather than squeezing in a towel. It also goes well with plain salted corn chips.
Can't wait to try this rice, always find it intimidating to cook it and most videos just say to use a rice cooker which gets me down a rabbit hole of multi cooker, slow cooker, what even is a rice cooker and back to uncle ben I go! 😄
A rice cooker is an entirely separate electrical kitchen appliance, but you can also buy a microwave rice cooker. I think rice scares some western folk, but once you get your technique(s) down, it's really not too hard. I like the pilaf style rice dishes, where you cook the rice in stock/tomato sauce alongside other ingredients. It's great for meal prep/batch cooking.
I don't see why you couldn't add some kind of bouillon to amp up the flavor, I'd probably add it even with the broth. I like a lot of flavor in my cooking.
My kinda meal, I can't get enough of simple meals! I got all the ingredients, I'll give it a go today. Thanks mate! Everything good with the baby? Take good care of mommy and make sure she gets plenty of your nutritious foods.
Mixy mix 😂 this sounds and looks amazing (I will leave chilli powder out as you know I would.) that rice looks so amazing. Definitely giving this flavour bomb a go. Thank you Chef Jack.
Just so people know... there's about $7000 worth of pans in that kitchen... not including the knives and other utensils! That bell saucepan is about $800 on its own.

Another winner! It’s also a great template for swapping out seasonings for variety
What veggies could I add ? Thinking spinach ? Love your recipes on this channel and your cookbook
Onions, mushrooms and garlic mixed in the rice , or peas and carrots mixed in the rice
I will be making this for my lunches during the week great post
Looks delish Chef Jack! 😍 I'll try this😊

Jack, something ive always meant to ask. Do I like wash the rice and this weigh out 300grams, or weigh it out and then wash it
I Love chicken and rice .which I eat a Lot .I will definitely that dish .Thanks for sharing jack .your amazing chef .Love all your videos..👍🙂🇮🇪

Which food containers do you use as shown here when served?
"Mixxy mix", have you been watching Kay's Cooking?
@@JoeArthurOrton I love Kay. She’s a sweetheart. I’d rather eat this food here but Kay is a love.
This dish looks yummy. I can't afford fresh parsley and dill, what is the measurements for the dry versions?
Oh that sounds great!
Bros recipes are single handedly carrying me through college right now.
Wondering if you could please do some high protein vegetarian meal prep as I don't eat meat every day. Definitely adding this to my repertoire.
This looks so delicious 😋😋😋😋
Please keep te heatlthy high protein meals coming!
If I use just water to cook the rice, do you recommend any flavour boosters? Stock is not sold where I live unfortunately.
I don't see why you couldn't add some kind of bouillon to amp up the flavor, I'd probably add it even with the broth. I like a lot of flavor in my cooking.

Haha it really is delicious! Thank you Joey!
May b a dumb question but can I use bone broth instead of stock
I’m wondering that too!
You definitely can! Stock and broth are basically the same thing. Stock is made with bones and is gelatinous and broth is made with meat 🙌🙌
@ I always wondered what was the difference. Thx!! 🙌🏼
Can't help but miss when you would whisper how many cracks of black pepper we need haha
Dont worry, it hasnt gone anywhere. It feels weird to whisper to the camera when im face on, thats all haha
@@ChefJackOvens haha, fair enough! Love your videos btw, my go to cooking channel :)
Ooo new pan!

Looks delish! I'm definitely just going to buy the tzatsiki 😆
Fair enough haha
Yummy ❤❤❤
Thank you 😋
Awesome recipe but I dont think ppl will lose weight after so much nutrition! 😋
Chef can you please do some vegetarian meal preps i know you're not vegetarian but meat eaters know how to make vegetarian food taste good
What does the p/s mean in the video??
Per serve
@ thank you!
I can feal the smell💐
🙏🏿👊🏿
Why not put overlays of the actual ingredient quantity rather than calories. Would be much more useful in my opinion
Full written recipe is in the description mate
HAND ME YOUR CHICKEN RICE :)
So Jack…is that pan any good?
Do you know the name of the pan?
@@HusseinAbdirahman Terence
“One tablespoon of olive oil”
Pours 3
That’s 1 tbsp haha
What is your accent?, sounds a weak Australian 🇦🇺 close to English 🏴
I’m from England but have lived in Australia for the last 17 years
"This combo is perfect! Great for building muscle and losing weight. Definitely trying this high-protein spicy chicken and rice recipe!" 🔥💪🍚
It’s so tasty!
0:58 How tf do we taste this? loooooooool
Season to taste means "season how you like it".
He means "season it with as much salt as you usually do, depending on your preferences"
Just so people know... there's about $7000 worth of pans in that kitchen... not including the knives and other utensils!
That bell saucepan is about $800 on its own.
Not disputing what you say, comrade. But I'm sure we could still give this recipe a good go using our own kitchen utensils.
@Hexclad is surprisingly expensive but sure… you can do this with pretty much anything similar.
I wouldn't expect anything less from a chef. I don't expect them to cook in Walmart pans.
