Thank you for two things. First for the thorough review covering more than anyone else has and secondly for not spending way too much time showing off how talented of a guitarist you are by playing as fast as you can without showing tones other than what you'd need for lead work. I have just become subscriber number eight.

Update: after months of drooling over this guitar I finally had enough money in my bank account so I could buy this and not be broke lmao. It's coming in a couple days after my birthday too so I'm gunna be a happy 19 year old

Great job man. You're right, it isn't easy finding reviews for this guitar. And a few others.

Another one of my favorite thing about these guitars is every single one looks different.

"Seems like you can find every guitar in the world, except the guitar you want" If that isn't the truest statement I don't know what is.

Great review. I have an older S-style Ibanez with only 22 frets and a slightly thicker body, with the H-S-S pickup configuration. It’s mostly stock, but I’ve blocked the trem and replaced the neck pickup with a Wilkinson dual-rail mini humbucker so I can play jazzy things on it through a clean amp. I really want one of the newer ones with the thinner body, two-octave neck and the H-S-H pickup set. Your 1070PBZ looks great and it sounds like a Swiss Army Knife type of guitar that you can use to play just about any style of music on, depending on the amp settings. Thanks a lot for sharing this in-depth review of the type of guitar I’ve had my eye on for a long time! Great channel. I’ve just come across it and I echo some of the earlier comments where viewers commend you for featuring the guitar instead of just showing off your chops. You’ve earned my subscription and a great big thumbs up, and helped me narrow down my choices at the same time. Thanks again and good luck and much success with your music and your channel!

What a great in-depth video covering all the details on this very cool Ibanez. I've been mulling over purchasing one from one of my local Long & McQuade stores; however, the price in CAD is pretty expensive and I would probably have to sleep with on eye open for a while if she found out the price (haha). Can't find many, if any at all, reviews that cover so much of this guitar and in an unscripted manner. Obviously you are extremely talented and yet that isn't the focal point of your review. This alone speaks to someone who is confident, talented and humble. Thanks for doing this!

Thank you!! Great review. I love the look of these but was looking at rg's. Your reasons for arm and tummy tuck issues would have been a problems for me too now that you point it out. You saved me a lot of trouble. It has a lot of checked boxes for me I just don't care for split coils so I guess I'm soddering lol

Thanks for the review man you’re really the only actual display of the guitar. Looking to grab one here soon. I played an S series Ibanez when I was 16 back in the day and wanted one but couldn’t afford it. Since then I’ve accumulated more classic guitars, Les Paul, Strat, Tele, Flying V. I love what all of them offer and my only shreddy guitar is my Carvin DC127C. I feel like I’m missing those guitars that I really liked as a kid, I always wanted Steve Vai’s signature guitar but I have never been a big fan of the RG look or super strat thing. I love the S1070 mostly because of it’s totally awesome neck. I’m not a big fan of satin maple necks of any kind (largely why I won’t buy the Nita Strauss sig) and would prefer the different woods and porous grain they offer. But anyway, thanks again and as someone else said it was nice to watch a guitar review without someone just playing for 5 straight minutes although what you did play was fun and interesting enough to get stuck in my head!

Thank you for your time. I'd like to hear clean sounds without preamp too. Thank you.

I dig this ax. Been thinking of getting one. I love the combo of the Tone Zone and Air Norton and have used it in countless guitars. My other favorite bridge pups are the Steve's Special and the classic Super Distortion. I tend to lean towards classic rock tone and feel so the Tone Zone and Super D work best out of the three.

Great video. Very informative. I like how you spoke about it a lot instead of just playing to a drum machine like so many others do. I have a guy wanting to trade this guitar for my Jackson I think I’m gonna do it now.

Awesome job, sounds great! I didn't like this guitar at first but it has grown on me. I used to have a Prestige S Series and regret selling it.

I've had the have the same guitar for close to a year now. Actually went out to get the Jiva with the Pandemoniums, but this color really got me, so I ended up with the S1070PBZ. No regrets so far. Good review!

Finally looking to upgrade from my hardtail squier strat and you helped me finalize my decision to grab this guitar. Now the hard part of saving up the last few Benjamins lol.
