It's fairly common for high rated / titled players to coach people with collaborative games. I've seen it before on twitch as well, I don't think that many people realize this is a violation of fair play. Though, I doubt it matters for normal matches, since like Dlugy said, it only worses your ELO and stands as a way to instruct weaker players with the mistakes that they make. It's probably only a more notable issue because titled tuesday is a cash event.

More players would probably refuse to play with him, and tournaments might stop inviting him. And.. he kind of deserves it. He did it to himself. I don't care if he admits to cheating when he was younger. Countless other young players never cheated, never even thought of cheating. Just because you're young, doesn't mean you get a pass, especially in sports where fairness and sportsmanship are paramount, especially in chess where so many of the top players start as child prodigies. This is absurd. Whether Hans cheated or not it's clear the type of people these two are. Everyone who's ever played in any sport or competition knows the type: slippery, shady, totally unscrupulous and insufferable. Will go kicking and screaming the whole way as they are found out, gasping at the audacity of their accuser, clutching their pearls and claiming the moral high ground, only to admit in the end that they simply "wanted it more" and were willing to "do whatever it takes" while, predictably, regretting nothing. They look down on all the poor saps who play by the rules. The whole reason it’s like this, is this is Hans life, his career. And if we prevent him from playing and are wrong.. it’s quite the injustice.
Also, the majority agreed with Magnus that Hans is cheating look at all the gms and chats that made them interview Hans, but his silence made it a but suspicious, why? Because he was unwilling to confirm until later. Which he has finally done affirming his stance, where even more people are believing Magnus.

But cheating once or twice in an online match when you are young should be forgivable. I stopped it because i saw that i wont improve if i only cheat and its not so much fun, i mainly used it for ragecheating against enemies where i was thinking they won "undeserved".

“If I had this gadget I would be killing people left and right, and nobody would know. This is the real danger, because if a 2600 player has this thing, he knows exactly how to behave, he knows exactly when to think, and he doesn’t to use it more than four times during a game. That’s plenty to destroy anyone. At the critical junction you switch it on and find out which way do I go: oh, this little nuance I didn’t see, okay, fine, boom, goodbye! That’s it.” - Maxim Dlugy, in a 2013 interview on how he caught a cheater the previous year.

There's something important I think they haven't asked Hans Niemann. He has admitted to have cheated twice. But he didn't say which games they were. If Hans did cheat in 2 games as he has admitted, Hans can name those 2 games. His memory is very good i saw in old interviews, such as Youth World Championship 2019, so this can't be a problem. If there are more than 2 games in which he did cheat he will also know them. If the cheating was more intense then he did lie but will nevertheless be able to remember in which tournaments he did cheat. It will not be pleasant for him to name the games where he did cheat but I think it will help to explore statistics in the games of Hans.

I don’t think he was referring to just two games when he admitted to cheating twice… he was saying that he cheated on two separate occasions, over a period of time. Once was a cash tournament and the other time was over the course of a day or few days and he cheated to level up his account to play against IM’s and GM’s. But even if I’m right in my interpretation, no doubt he can still remember the dates and/or tournament(s)
