Did he really not remember his Password? 😄 I looked at his Video history and thought: why was his last video uploaded 2 years ago, and why does it have to be a video against Hans now, is it coincidence or on purpose?! :D
I love Alireza's streaming style, 2015 NCs songs as background music, probably reading chats from his phone and continuously talking about his position. A great competitors to the prevailing chess streamers.
great match! respect to you for jumping in Hans' chat and sending out the challenge, you're one of my favourite young GM's and I hope you continue to do well in chess.
Alireza i m telling you man, you will earn more on youtube and twitch than any tournament by just being consistent. Please post regularly, we enjoy it.
seeing that bishop move to take the queen the moment Hans moved the rook behind the bishop made me feel good and afterwards Hans not taking advantage of it I thought, wait, did I just instanly saw something 2 pros didn't? I can finally get out of 1700 elo, went on to play, got crushed by a 1670
Thanks Alireza, I have been following your games for many years, even before you got the French nationality. I love the Iranian culture but it must be so tough to live there. The first game against Hans was very interesting and I noticed the "blunder", losing the queen to Bh2+ and Rxe4 (about 3 minutes into the video). But then I looked a little deeper and Bh2+ is actually not a great move: Bh2+ Kxh2 Rxe4 Rxe4 and now the Knight on f7 cannot be captured: capturing with the King is met by Re7+ and capturing with the Queen is met by Rf4. So that Knight on d5 is doing a great job. Maybe Hans saw this and that's why he played Qxf7 instead of Bh2. You're amazing and I hope to see you gain the world title one day!
No way you’re back!!! Hans and Alireza both back at the same time the GM competition heating up on twitch and UA-cam love it. Great to see you again, Alireza
I've noticed when I passed certain ELO ratings my opponents will automatically think I have some weird trick in mind when I obviously blunder and "believe me", as Hans did you. Kind of a perk to having higher ratings....
Credit to Alireza for taking Hans as he finds him and not getting into the drama. So much better for Alireza's energy to not get caught up in the garbage and just stick to his chess!
Without even looking at the board properly and with half of mind on the chatroom, Alireza is crushing Hans Niemann who is one of the strongest super GMs in the world.
@@kevinwellwrought2024 generally a bar for entry of being a super GM is being 2700. Hans briefly crossed that barrier, but fell under it, currently standing at 2667. Plenty of top GMs lost to lower rated players, it does not qualify you as a super GM.

Here's the problem when you cheat: People will - ALWAYS cast a doubtful eye on you when you make a brilliant move - regardless. It's like a MURDER who's freed after 20 years. YEA, he paid his dues...BUT DO YOU WANT TO LIVE WITH HIM IN THE SAME BUILDING?????????? Sorry. I don't think so. He may be cleaned now...but you NEVER KNOW!!
Good stuff fom both players! Alireza needs a separate monitor at eye level so he doesn't have to keep looking down. He will only get better at this! It seems there can be more money in streaming than in actually being at the top of the world rankings. Go Alireza!
This was a lot of fun to watch especially after the taunting Hans was giving Anand. Yeah Hans has a lot of talent for sure but the prep-school wiseass is unbecoming on anybody. I enjoyed watching Alireza chill and calculate things out in his head and play some good chess. Thanks, fun to watch.
I've been monitoring your games for the last couple of years and the only flaw on your side of playing chess is that you can't overcome your stress sometimes, and you lose not because of your chess skill but because you can't overcome those stresses and pressures, if you work on that you will be the next Bobby Fisher
My valuable takeaway here is that blunder and bluff are closely connected if you act innocent. While this is not a brand-new insight, it gains substance every time it is so candidly demonstrated. They trust you :).

Good to see you streaming, bro. Keep it up, and don't let the chat troll you!
Pretty amazing he hardly looks at the board, busy reading chat, casually moving as needed.
These guys are amazing. He sees things even when he isn't seemingly paying attention
Highest level of pattern recognition and theory memorization + several thousand games of experience.
In an effort to avoid playing engine moves, sometimes you have to decline a blundered queen.
