Coed groups were huge in the 90s. Cool and Roo'ra were mega-hits and had songs on the level of any nationwide hit now. Once fan culture got outta control, companies realised that same-sex groups would be more profitable.
Yh co ed groups were more of a thing in the past but fans got insecure and scandals happened alongside but now that kard is soon to debut with so much love international already I'm sure they'll leave a unique mark in kpops future
