Could it be that your stance is a touch wider than is common? Or is that the Insta 360 effect? I am in Alpe d'Huez now and enjoyed a nice week of skiing after a 30 year hiatus. First time on carvers. Back in the day they were teaching this super narrow parallel stance ( not that I ever achieved that ). Has that changed? Is a bit wider also ok now?
Wide stance makes it easier to get an edge on the ski, and therefore more grip. Look at any ski racer… their skis will be suuuuuuuper-wide! Same goes for leisure skiing! However there are definitely times when the stance would be narrower (look else where on this channel and you’ll see how I adapt to different terrain/conditions/goals. Get some coaching 👍👍👍
As always, an interesting video. I'll see if changing the resolution is also possible on the X2. If not, I still won't switch to the 3. I won't buy a new one until Insta finally integrates GPS. It's kind of ridiculous if the remote control is necessary for the data, but the remote control isn't waterproof. Unfortunately, I can't manage to connect my Garmin mk2i to the X2 permanently. It keeps crashing 😡. But I do have one general question. How do you avoid water drops on the lens when windsurfing? Do you use some kind of Rain X?

Never had the need for rain X… droplets just slide straight off the lens! 👌
