Goodness you guys need to get one of those ranch fly traps or something similar to it and put some around your cows. I bet your chickens would love them as a snack!😁

Don’t give up! Your channel is great and an inspiration! If you’d like to consider or look into a couple of ideas/tips:
-Regarding mesh-size gauging, mice (in terms of rodents) can get into spaces as small as a dime in diameter (roughly a 1/2” spacing) so using fencing/screen material of that sized of opening mesh or smaller might help you better keep out raccoon fingers, snakes, other pests/predators.
-Regarding natural pest control, may I recommend reading if not possibly experimenting with ideas from the book, “Good Bug, Bad Bug: who’s who, what they do, and how to manage them organically”? It’s the one I’ve got and plan to utilize once my house is finished being built and got my food garden up and running (hopefully in 2024 if not 2025🙏🤞🙏). The book lists both pest and beneficial insects, their adult and larval forms, organic methods to deter, distract, or attract whichever species you’ve got in your area (including general and specific plants 🌱 to use for those purposes). Good luck and best wishes in all your endeavors! You’re teaching so many! Keep it up and thanks for keeping it real!

Don’t run off like that little lady! Your channel is gold! Do your goats eat strictly pasture/hay or do you give them brush? I was told goats need brush to eat or they’ll get plugged up and die. I really want some goats but I need to make sure I can keep them alive!

We had them rotate around our property line so they mostly ate the tall brambles. They much preferred those over the pasture grass. But in the winter we fed them hay. We only fed sweet feed to train them to a bucket. Which worked wonders because when they got out, they would instantly come running if they saw/heard a bucket (even if was empty 🤣)

@@littleladyhomestead I’m trying to find some Kune Kune Piglets but finding ones that are legit and not inbred is kinda hard. If you know of any reputable sources nearby let me know!
