Merci beaucoup, my husband is Français, and so are his friends. He has been asking me to learn Français, but im too shy to study with him. I have learned a lot from you. He was quite surprised when i counted to 10. Lol
You make learning French so easy. I’ve been always scared of learning it. I’m a teacher myself, and I think you have a very good style of teaching. You don’t overwhelm with a lot of material in one video. You are an amazing teacher! Kudos for you!!!
I’ve literally purchased French audiobooks, flashcards etc., but I always come back to you. You break things down easily for beginners. You’re a natural born teacher. Merci beaucoup!

I'm Brazilian and living in France for 6 months without speaking French. I have been here for 3 1/2 months so far, have bought books, have been looking for channels in yt, have used phone applications and nothing seems to do do the job for me. I can't spend the little free time I have studying because nothing captivates my attention or makes me really interested, although I really need it because I'm definitely having problems to express myself in here. But after your channel... I have no idea of how much time I spent watching your videos and making notes after work today without feeling tired at all. Lovely voice, lovely method, lovely screen work. Thank you for helping me! You are an excellent teacher!
I've taken some college and government of Canada French courses, and so far you've been the first teacher who teaches French so clearly so that I can understand, keep up, and actually retain the information... You are so amazing, thank you for teaching French and posting your lessons on UA-cam... You are truly so special and I love your personality, I can watch your videos and stay engaged without getting bored or lose interest. Thank you so much 🙏💕🤗😇 ps. You are so gorgeous 😍

Hi Alexa, You are a good instructor, I forgot what i learned at secondary school but you reminded me because of your interesting and simple way of teaching, thank you so much and keep teaching.
Your videos are really helpful plus your constant smiling and delight face throughout videos. With pleasure I can say that I can learn french language from your videos. I do really highly appreciate your great and amazing job. Thanks
Salut! I still don't get the use of "on", could you please use it in context, and examples? I'm a Spanish native speaker and English is my second lg, and I started learning French a few weeks ago. I'm in love with your videos!
I believe it's used more in Britain than in America. A Brit might say "One does what one must" where an American would say "You do what you have to". In both cases, the pronoun and verb are singular, but the sentence refers to people in general.
Thank you for this excellent lessons teacher! It's good to me because I can improve my english and learning french, too...I say that because my language is Portuguese, I'm from Brazil. Merci!
Notes I made during the lesson: Singular subject pronouns: I - je - 'jhah' You - tu - 'Tuu' (informal & with children) He - il - 'iillah' She - elle - 'ellah' We/ one - on - 'onh' Plural subject pronouns: We - nous - 'nuuh' (more formal way of saying 'we') You - vous - 'vuuh' (more formal way of saying 'you' as mark of respect/ when you don't know someone well + for more than 1 person + always address a person at the start as 'vous' till they ask to be addressed as 'tu') They - elles (ellah)/ ils (iillah) elles - group of girls/ ladies/ feminine gender things ils - group of boys/ men/ masculine gender things + mixed group of boys/ girls la table -> les tables sont marron (the tables are brown) -> elles sont marron ( they are brown) le livre -> les livres sont bien (the books are good) -> ils sont bien (they are good) je - I tu - you il - he elle - she on - we/one nous - we vous - you ils - they elles - they

Le=Masculine
La=Femenine
Les=Plural
L’=Starting with vowel
Femenine can be found if it End With e
Masculine can be found with any words that doesn’t end with e
Some can be exceptions eg:Livre it is not la its le Livre
Je means i
Tu means you
il means he
Elle means she
on means we
Nous is also meaning = We
Nous is more preferred
Vous is also you
Vous is used as a formal way basically if we dont know them well or for a mark of respect
Tu means if they are informal or a child
Elles & ils mean they
Elles is used for female. Ils is used for male
If there are 100 women and 50 men we will use ils

Because the s's are silent at the end of "les" and the plural noun, how do you know, when talking, if a person is speaking of a singular noun or a plural nous.
Ex: Les livres and le livre
Alayna Amrein I guess it depends on the context.
@@deralessi yes. And the sounds "les" and "le" are different.
Because 'les' is pronounced 'lay and 'le' is more like 'luh'. N est pas ?
Brilliant: invent different words for distinguishing singular from plural and then let them sound indistinguishably the same :q
