    You make learning French so easy. I’ve been always scared of learning it. I’m a teacher myself, and I think you have a very good style of teaching. You don’t overwhelm with a lot of material in one video. You are an amazing teacher! Kudos for you!!!

    I took notes
    Le=Masculine
    La=Femenine
    Les=Plural
    L’=Starting with vowel
    Femenine can be found if it End With e
    Masculine can be found with any words that doesn’t end with e
    Some can be exceptions eg:Livre it is not la its le Livre
    Je means i
    Tu means you
    il means he
    Elle means she
    on means we
    Nous is also meaning = We
    Nous is more preferred
    Vous is also you
    Vous is used as a formal way basically if we dont know them well or for a mark of respect
    Tu means if they are informal or a child
    Elles & ils mean they
    Elles is used for female. Ils is used for male
    If there are 100 women and 50 men we will use ils
    Grammaticaly speaking men is stronger
    Summary:je=i - tu=you (informal) - il=he - elle=she - on=we(informal) - nous=we - vous=you(formal or plural)
    - Ils=they(masculine) - Elles=they(feminine)

    I'm Brazilian and living in France for 6 months without speaking French. I have been here for 3 1/2 months so far, have bought books, have been looking for channels in yt, have used phone applications and nothing seems to do do the job for me. I can't spend the little free time I have studying because nothing captivates my attention or makes me really interested, although I really need it because I'm definitely having problems to express myself in here. But after your channel... I have no idea of how much time I spent watching your videos and making notes after work today without feeling tired at all. Lovely voice, lovely method, lovely screen work. Thank you for helping me! You are an excellent teacher!

      I believe it's used more in Britain than in America. A Brit might say "One does what one must" where an American would say "You do what you have to". In both cases, the pronoun and verb are singular, but the sentence refers to people in general.

    Notes I made during the lesson:
    Singular subject pronouns:
    I - je - 'jhah'
    You - tu - 'Tuu' (informal & with children)
    He - il - 'iillah'
    She - elle - 'ellah'
    We/ one - on - 'onh'
    Plural subject pronouns:
    We - nous - 'nuuh' (more formal way of saying 'we')
    You - vous - 'vuuh' (more formal way of saying 'you' as mark of respect/ when you don't know someone well + for more than 1 person + always address a person at the start as 'vous' till they ask to be addressed as 'tu')
    They - elles (ellah)/ ils (iillah)
    elles - group of girls/ ladies/ feminine gender things
    ils - group of boys/ men/ masculine gender things + mixed group of boys/ girls
    la table -> les tables sont marron (the tables are brown) -> elles sont marron ( they are brown)
    le livre -> les livres sont bien (the books are good) -> ils sont bien (they are good)
    je - I
    tu - you
    il - he
    elle - she
    on - we/one
    nous - we
    vous - you
    ils - they

    I watch your videos but not much impressed because of your verbosity and overemotional expressions. I myself have been a teacher for more than fourteen years and have two bachelor and two masters degrees, including Bachelor in Education. Sorry to say you need to improve your teaching style and focus more on simplicity of explanation of the contents you teach rather than emotional outbursts.

    Hey Alexa, I've been watching your videos for some days and I have extreme pleasure in telling you that you're an amazing teacher.
    2 days ago the only things I could say in French were Renault and Baguette, but now I'm learning French thanks to you.
    Just to add a bit of challenge, English isn't my mother language as it is Italian, so I'm learning a language in another language (if it makes sense haha).
    Une fleur pour vous :)
    Merci Beaucoup!

    Dear i have two questions here;
    1. What is called it in french language????
    2. As you said ils ( masculin they) elles(Feminine they) and you also said if group of 100 girls and 50 boys we have to use elles, also 100 boys nd 10 girls we have to take Ils.
    So my question is what about if the group is equal for example 50 boys and 50 girls or 10 girl and 10 boys, which french subject pronoun should i use elles or ils?????
    Please answer me these two questions if any one knows, i am a new bigguner in french language.
    Thnks alixa

    I'm currently learning french, though I'm a total beginner and watching your videos helps me a lot, they're quite easy.
    I love your work, keep going, girl.
    PS: English is my 2nd language so practicing with you is like 2 in 1.

    Firstly your videos are amazing.But there're things I don't understand about subject pronouns: Why 'on(we)' is not plural? Isn't it clearly describes people more than one? Could u explain it little more? Thanks😊
