@@btfastinger the T3 legion mech is already in the game Praetorian.if I recall correctly it has a anti air rail gun two napalm launchers and 4 gatling guns for up close work. it sits in between a titan and a juggernaut for stats across the board
I play legion more then cortex and armada combined. I used to think legion was kinda bad except a few units. But everything in there kit is actually amazing. The metal extractors are amazing for the early game, the overcharged ones are great for transitioning to T2 easier. The bots and vehicles are all great at there job. But almost all their units lack something. Usually it's range it seems. I like the burst fire mechanics they have just hate most of those burst are to short range to take advantage of it. They seem to be a very tactical race. The pop up riot cannon is amazing to.
@@DaniRadriendilI do worry about artillery especially for t1. They have none. Barrage has a range of around 500 and the anti air rail gun also has less then 600 range, and those have the most range of the t1 units. Their units are to squishy to really push into a seiged position but they do have the speed. I just think they'll struggle hard when facing seiged positions or when defending against seiges. t2 it's not as big of an issue cause they have some strong units, but still lack any long range seige. They do have the same stealth rocket tank as all the other factions, but besides that their siege units lack range. The inferno Gatling tank though has 1100 range(the highest of all legion units besides the generic stealth rocket that all factions have) and has decent health for a seige unit so maby that's good enough.
Legion is such a big deviation from both the Arm and Core, which makes me curious on how it's going to be balanced against them. The way that Core and Arm are now is that they utilize similar weapons and technology within their units, and generally differ only in the sense of range/price/health/fire rate/etc. On the other hand, Legion feels like a completely different design with a ton of mechanics and abilities that neither Core or Arm have. The units are very different in function and ability across the board from their supposed counterparts. Still, I like the variation and it's definitely going to make things more fun.
It has that distinct "mod faction" feel atm with its uniqueness, which can be a bit of a double edged sword. In a way its a testbed of new ideas and ways of innovating upon the standard gameplay template, with lots of great stuff already, but ofc balacing all these new additions in a way that makes Legion in line with the other factions without standing out too much in terms of power and coolnes is a great challenge. Personally I'd like to see Legion toned down a bit in *some* areas (like their commander and basic mex) to be more in line with Arm/Core while still retaining the best of their unique elements. Alternatively the devs could also try to differentiate the og factions more to bring them up to Legion's level, which would be hard to do BUT would be quite interesting to see how it would turn out
Actually it seems their Commander doesn't have that upgrade feature anymore, which was the right move imo. In this case maybe adjust the t1 options a bit to be more in line with the other factions (not by much tho) and id say its good to go generally speaking
@HonshuHigamori yup, they work like the other coms now with a normal D Gun, just with a heat ray/yellow Lazer as their main gun intead of the red on the other coms have (idk if there's any damage difference tho)
I do like the new models. I wish the commander would get a unique one. I feel maybe a quadrupedal design would fit with the theme of many being better than one with all the burst fire.
Dear Brightworks, I see you struggling to look up information on units but I never see you use spacebar. Are you aware of it? I think it could be beneficial to all the learners watching. Thanks for the awesome content!
If you've got a butt-ton of T1 crashed into a hard target, you can do the "line move" command (right click and drag) in a circle to make your weenies scatter into a perfect surround. Grunts beat Mammoths with 100% flanking bonus.
It feels like legion has too many units that should be effected by plasma shields but are not like the goblin or shotgunner. If the juggernaut shotgun is, I don't see why the tiny version of it wouldn't be too. Keep in mind that the pawns tiny blaster is affected by the shield too
There's a reason it's still an experimental option and not mainline yet. We have thirty years of games informing the Core vs Arm balance. Legion is a BAR original.
okay, I'll bite. evangelion in both standard american english is pronounced /ɪvɐnd͡ʒˈɛli͡ən/. the former part sounds like a portmanteau of the words "even" and "Evan" in a great lakes accent. the latter part is more phonetically similar to the "gel" in "shower gel", even though the alternative would be closer l to the original greek pronunciation. that being said, I guess this is technically a game about mechs, but thinking about eva too much is not really good for my mental health, so I wouldn't practice it too much if I were you.

This was such a fun night i was thinking i might start hosting them again if enough people are interested (I promise no more hovers)

Wondering what their T3 mech is gonna be a drone factory tank? And the mech being a Gatling and Railgun version of the juggernaut/titan

How many resources are in each team's army and defenses respectively
Army Value (units, excluding constructors) and Defense Value (armed buildings, includes Exploiters)
