I agree to a point but his slide guitar and harmonica on Little Red Rooster might be his personal finest hour. Aftermath is their greatest album,though. IMO

Another hidden gem 💎 in the Stones vault. They never seem to play these amazing songs 🎵. They should start playing more of their oldies and definitely goodies. These are the songs 🎵 that brought them to greatness.

Just another awesome Stones song...no one notices.....How could all these terrific songs be so forgotten...never hear them on radio oldies or nothing...You add these all up and they have many more good to listen songs than the Beatles, in my opinion....

I was literally having this conversation with my uncle. Classic rock radio limits their songs to just a dozen Stones songs that have become so common, they’re kind of overexposed. I didn’t really care for them as a band because I only knew those same songs and thought it was enough to give me an accurate picture of who they were.
When I finally started delving into their catalog, I was blown away by the many gems in the collection that are largely ignored by the masses.
In some ways, it feels really ridiculous saying this, but as popular as the Stones are, they’re some how underrated. It’s weird that such a legendary band that sells out giant venues around the planet can still be low key one of the greatest bands underneath all of their mega hits. If that makes sense.

I love Brian Jones but I’d have to agree. They really shot up towards the end of his time and throughout the 70’s
No better, no worse. Different to be sure, without the diverse sounds from Brian, and newfound virtuosity courtesy of Mick Taylor.
