The footage of the Glimmers writing this track is some of the best and most important in modern music. Living legends.
I completely enjoy that footage, it's one of my favorite, peeking in and getting to see that..

Love Charlies playing here.. and on Steel Wheels generally he was a soldier of rhythm. Steady as a rock.. sounds easy but not easy to be that square for 5 mins.. this song is a classic. Stones are my church

Thank you! I remember hearing it on the radio in 89 before the album was released. Such magical times waiting in anticipation for a new Stones disc, and yes, they've been unstoppable since Steel Wheels.
Yes, Charlie had a superb timing and a nice tight snare drum. Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain has comparable timing - tight af.

Yeah I saw them with my pops here in Columbus Ohio in 2015 they kicked ass but I was disappointed I didn't get to hear this live

I agree. This one, and Undercover are the 2 that can match their very best after Tattoo You. The song is really bittersweet since I never knew when I was younger that I could have so many Mixed Emotions about so many things.

I drove up from Charleston WV for this show. Got chills when crowd was sing Ruby Tuesday louder than PA. Wish I had time machine.

I seen this show at the Pontiac Silverdome. They were really good that night. They played Ruby Tuesday and 2000 Light Years from Home a couple rare ones. :-) Peace
Lucky!! Love their psychedelic songs, She’s a Rainbow is a fav too! Saw them in ‘99 at Myriad Center in OK City, 19 yr young Jonny Lang opened; he was fantastic. This was when I became entranced with them and their music; Mick strutting down the catwalks his young exuberance~energy. My lady friend had the biggest crush on Mick, I didn’t feel the same but during the performance I was under his spell~thumb, hooked ever since. Live music is where it’s at!❤
I remember them doing those. I was at the Foxboro shows. They did two shows. In between, they shot the video for "Rock In A Hard Place". I was in the 7th row.

Remember when this song hit the radio airwaves. Then the announcement of a World Tour. I was so pumped for this show. Slept out overnight and landed in the 5th row for my efforts. I was all of 20 yrs old and on top of the world getting a chance to watch the Glimmer Twins doing their craft. First of many times actually. Secretly wishing I could of seen those Englishmen in 1973 or 1978.
Saw them in 67 at the Cow Palace in S.F. with the Monkees.

I'll totally give it to you for camping out for tickets. That's before the internet and "fan platforms" that purchase tickets online. I passed up the Steel Wheels tour and I wish I hadn't.
