    We desperately need more tutorials like this for blender. Any way that we can use geo nodes instead of simulations we will be in amazing shape for getting into the industry and becoming more standardized!

      Apparently physics nodes are in development for geonodes, just imagine the power we can wield with that lol

    GREAT tutorial! Fast enough to watch quickly during a project, but long enough to go into detail. Fantastic job!

    Rarely use geo node but this is just awesome. Got a question though, how do you make the ribbon slanted?

    Instead of duplicating the mesh.. is there any option to do it inside geometry node itself?.

    very cool. Would it be possible to roll the relevant parts of tree up into a group and create like a shrinkwrap node?

    Dear Khamurai, Currently I'm working in project that is related to rolling up a stack of layers such as (fig-(a) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/cms/asset/c0d4de96-26e4-4824-b091-8e39e2d5516a/adma201902994-fig-0011-m.jpg) or fig-(a) (onlinelibrary.wiley.com/cms/asset/593d5856-274b-4454-83dc-4a66c8b6cf47/adma201902994-fig-0012-m.jpg). My question is, how can I use your setup (wrapping) to achieve that effect? I've tried but I couldn't get the expected result, thanks in advance!! btw!! awesome video!!

    • @Khamurai
      @Khamurai  2 роки тому +1

      If you want to roll things like in the pictures you linked to this isn't the way to do it, instead you would probably want to use some curve lines that you roll up using some vector math (or some other technique) and then use the curve to mesh approach like in this video to turn them into a mesh
