My wife flipped when she saw the size of those trout. Amazing. Great video and teachings. Thank you for going to the trouble to video and edit this for us.
Im Lao.. and i approve this video! Laab trout is bomb! Me personally, i like it hella spicy! You should do a duck hunt, clean, and cook! Duck blood laab is the best!
The meat on that fish looks like wild caught salmon. Grate job and those fish. I want to say thank you for this recipe, I eat trout 3 to 4 times a week and this is a grate ideas and something I have never seen made before.
What a hog of a rainbow! Not much I don’t know about trout fishing but I’m definitely inspired to try the ned rig, much appreciated! And that recipe looks awesome can’t wait to try. Awesome video man👍
Dude you are one of the nicest guys I just started watching your videos your the man keep up the good work my wife is from Cambodia and she loved the larb video.
Love to watch ya bro. I'm 45 u inspire me to get out more thanks young buck. So i got to try this recipe looks so clean Larb I've never heard of can't waut to try. Keep it up
Excellent video: learned a new technique for trout fishing; and, finally learned the recipe for a dish I've ordered for years (in chicken or beef) when visiting my favorite restaurants on the west side. (Definitely looking forward to trying it with fish!)
Samong! Another awesome video 👊🏼💯. Man, I remember when I first sub to your channel you didn’t even have 1000 sub, look at you now. Keep up the awesome work and thanks for sharing.
Beautiful fish you got there. Looks to be a wild rainbow instead of a hatchery fish since the meat was pink instead of white. I would be seriously tempted to take some of that dish to the side and put cream cheese in it and mix it in an put it between a bagel for lunch.
Super duper (folded metal with white shiny reflector tape on both sides and red paint at the end where you tie your line on and also cast master (white metal cut in angular shape) works good for trout for me in the 90's when I still love to fish for them.
Nice. Running Ned this fall/winter. Mule jig 1/32 or 1/16 Yum dinger or peters custom worms mini. 8’ daiwa presso Kastking zephyr sfs 1000 Izorline xxx 2lb all the way through
These are just all stocked trout so they don't clip the adipose fin when it's just a stocked lake. They only clip the adipose fins where there is a mix of wild and hatchery trout like the Columbia River.
Great content per usual!! The lake you fish produces some healthy fat trout, great looking fish!! I’m always looking for new recipes and will make this for my boys soon!! Do you serve it hot or cold? With or without rice? Thanks and keep the videos coming-Ron
Thanks, Ronald. I best prefer larb to be served at room temperature. Typically, by the time one is finished making this recipe, all the ingredients have cooled down or warmed up to room temperature. I've seen people it hot, cold, and warm so I think it really depends on how you like it! I think sticky rice goes best with larb!
Great video! For crappie or other fish - have you made it with raw fish where the acid from the lemons/limes cure the fish? Or you traditionally use cooked fish to make laab? Thanks again!
Nice bro you really need to try salad shrimp the cook ones with a corky so put a sliding weight then swivel get string like 15 inches put the corky then the hook and try salad shrimp God bless
Very informative ! Just curious, are these stocked trout or wild? Asking Bc here in Southern California, our local ponds are mainly stocked trout, so they love power bait! I’ve seen them caught on spinners, mini jigs , but never a Ned rig! It’ll be cool to get one on it!
@@SamongOutdoors I use Mustad R30 Signature Dry Fly Hooks size 14 Seem to have the right action to float back up after being pulled down through the weight.

Soon as I read laab, my mouth started watering. I love venison also!
Awesome fishing!!! Ned rig/jigworming is my favorite rig for largemouth. Laab looks delicious just missing lettuce and sticky rice to scoop it all up.
Oh boy! You did great on that Larb. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your videos and get excited everytime a notification goes off. Glory to God.
Imagine that in a wrap. And some amazing sauce

Oh my gosh, good video bro. Gunna use that recipe thanks. Keep on fishing 🎣
Good videio love lao food thanks for the recipe
Man that looks good bro. How am I so late on this video. Keep grinding bro.
Laab gai (chicken) or baah (fish) is always such a good dish with some fresh sticky or jasmine rice!
One of my favorite trout lures is 16th oz crappie jig with either a white or black 1 inch curly tail grub
Looks good bro! Laab is also good with any meat. Love Lao food.
Good job man! I like your videos and what you do. Same what I do in Idaho haha. God bless!
Looks very tasty, hello from Northern Idaho

That looks amazing
Thanks for all the info 😊 Nice fish God Bless ✝️♥️
You should use the power bait pink worms. They absolutely slay down here in N.C! We also have big and healthy trout. Love your videos man, keep it up.
Love ur channel keep it up hope one day I can come spend a day of fishing and hunting with yall
Ned Rigs is probably one my best way to catch trout , I didn’t believe it at first but it works!
Aunest hi
Never would have thought to try.
Good vid.
Love your channel bro!
Wish Fresno has those kind of trout 😭😢. All we have is only 10 inch trout 💀.
Gotta add some Thai Basil, nice video keep up the good work

That Hmong dish looked bomb I love Hmong food and I’m Mexican lol
Delicious!!
Going to try that with trout, normally we use crappie, bass, or striper.
You should try notorious jig. Probably a killer lure where your living at.
Love the videos! Where you catching these trout at?
Looks Lake Roosevelt
Need some sticky rice!
Great vid
How rocky is the bottom that this is being fished on? I would think the rockier the more rigs you would lose

Would you consider to do a video fishing with trout magnets. They are like a smaller version big neg rig. Very effective.
Absolutely. I'm still exploring all sorts of different baits and lures. I definitely want to expand more of my arsenal!
wonder if these stocked trout here in MN will be good for that style
Perfekt 👌🏼 😉
Try crappie lures...crappie tubes, twister tails, crappie minnow shaped plastics. I use those only here in Colorado. Catch tons of trout.
You should look up notorious jigs a lot of us Cali hmong people use them to catch trout or crappie
Next try Sturgeon laab. Bomb.
I'm new to Eastern Washington and I've been looking for a good winter spot. What lake is this?
I love to eat laap bro 😊
Great video! For crappie or other fish - have you made it with raw fish where the acid from the lemons/limes cure the fish? Or you traditionally use cooked fish to make laab? Thanks again!
I have never tried raw fish. I just don't want to risk anything so I've always done it with cooked fish.
@@SamongOutdoors great point! I'll try it this way with fresh water fish
love the videos mannnn

we should go fishing sometime in from the tri cities on the Columbia river
Let's GO!
👍👍
Another banger video
Zoo kawg li
should try striper Larb(Laab) it's pretty good too
👍
Fried the skin and add it in or use fried pork skin just for a little crunch either way if done right it always good
is that Banks Lake
Free Rig works pretty good with mousetails
I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the tip!
