Carnival Cruise Line asked us to share a recipe that we can make at home that is inspired by the Islands - and what better recipe to share than an Açaí Bowl! Açaí bowls originate from Brazil but have been made popular in the islands for many years now. What we love about açaí bowls is it is a quick, refreshing and healthy snack and can be found just about anywhere in the islands. It is common to use apple juice or soy milk in the recipe, but in our house, we do it a little different.
