Honestly i hoped for revamp of clothing shops so it really feels like you are in clothing shop with clothes on display that you can buy. Also i hoped for the cars to be sold in shops too. So you walk into store and can choose a model that is standing there and then choose the paintstyle. It could also be good if they added more types of cars, which have special paint jobs and a bit different model that for example has a little better stats (it really is not a much to ask for as most of it is copy paste asset but you take away roof or add a spoiler whatever and of course it would not apply to every car in the game)
I honestly wish there was an online clothes store, same as there now is an online car shop. Having to visit those clothing stores and just getting a jumbled pile of "loot" you had to scroll through was such a poor implementation of clothing stores. I would much have preferred it if each store had all items of a particular type, quality or category. Despite the selection being too small, shopping for clothes in Sleeping Dogs felt way better than in CP2077.
Never really could emerse myself in this city, something just feels off. Maybe its the lack of regular things to do like going drinking in a bar, eating at food stands etc. Loved the story though.

Why wasn’t car combat added in the first place?

I have three playthroughs so far and the main story is obviously mostly the same each time. THere are openings for some deviations though, and all three characters had VERY different final missions and endings. That said, the game is obviously written from the ground up for the streetpunk background. Thank god I don't need to level up crafting anymore, I spent so much money trying to build my 2 sec Sandevistan build
Everything seems like a great change with one exception, shooting uses stamina? That seems odd... I hope at least it's a tiny amount of stamina, firing a gun doesn't tire you as much as swinging stuff around.
Was hoping for Cyber psychosis to be implemented, was tired of being overly powered with no great penalty. This is great too though.
These changes are great! Now the game looks as it should when it was first released. However, I personally wish they changed the colouring in the HUD which is quite tiring 😢. Besides, 3rd person camera angle would also be beneficial to the gameplay experience.
No but closer
*Cyberpunk should have released like this at the bare minimum*
*With all due respect, change my mind.*
It's still a lifeless, soulless world to walk around in
Honestly i hoped for revamp of clothing shops so it really feels like you are in clothing shop with clothes on display that you can buy.
Also i hoped for the cars to be sold in shops too. So you walk into store and can choose a model that is standing there and then choose the paintstyle.
It could also be good if they added more types of cars, which have special paint jobs and a bit different model that for example has a little better stats (it really is not a much to ask for as most of it is copy paste asset but you take away roof or add a spoiler whatever and of course it would not apply to every car in the game)
honeslty car change is the worst part in my opinion i liked that you had to go to acutal physcial location to buy a car
I loved the transition on the beginning btw, very smooth change to blackhand
I love it, but how does shooting a gun drain your stamina???
Yeah, I raised an eyebrow with that too
I think its because of recoil and is likely only impactful with a massive machine gun or shotguns with just a pistol its probably not that big a deal
@@-_Alyssia_- yeah, plus the stamina regen seems to be quick enough to continuously attack with range weapons .
There’s a realistic rational reason but there’s also a rational reason why fps games don’t require you to drain stamina.
It looks like once your stamina runs out your aim becomes more wobbly, so you can still fire at the cost of some accuracy
Wish I bought the game on sale a couple months ago. I'm actually interested in the game now that this update is about to drop.
black friday is not far away
Its on key sites for around 25 bucks. Totally worth it
Never really could emerse myself in this city, something just feels off. Maybe its the lack of regular things to do like going drinking in a bar, eating at food stands etc.
Loved the story though.
Mods fix the problem. There's one specifically called Night City interactions that allows you to drink at bars!
Police rework has been what ive been waiting for looks like its time to play for the first time
What an excellent summary. Thank you Gamespot
What would’ve been cool is that you could do weapon and vehicle customization. Like adding mods for weapons and skins, also doing a customs garage for your personal vehicle to change paint, skins, armor, transmission, brakes, engine, wheels, tints, smoke, adding spoilers, turbo, and even adding some weapons to your vehicle. Why wasn’t car combat added in the first place?
Most important piece of information is that this is not available until Sep 21
Everything here looks awesome except for shooting costing stamina.. What a weird change. Hopefully it isn't as big of a nuisance as it sounds
Why shooting drains stamina? Guns already have a similar system is called ammo capacity. You're not going to shoot forever, at some point you need to reload. Now you have to worry about two resources when using guns. Bleh.
From what I can gather it's just an accuracy thing, you can still shoot without stamina, it's just less accurate
@@conormeade3849 it still feels like a pace breaker. A problem they created to sell you the solution later. I wouldn't be surprised if they added a perk or a cyberware that makes you don't spend stamina when shooting or something like that. It's just unnecessary and in my opinion just not fun.
@@SmashBrotherXgo through skill tree, you have so many ways to get stamina back and cancel stamina drain, there also a bunch of bonuses and abilities you get based on how much stamina you have
Exciting to see the 1.0 release of the game :D
Jokes aside: great time fora new playthrough
Hey, what happened to the weapon attachments, sights and suppressors. Are we still not going to be able to see their colors and store like 300 of them in our inventory? And you know, go to menu, attach, see if it fits, go to menu, attach second one, and so on....
I've played 1 hour of cyberpunk 2077 since release. Finally it looks ready. Keen!
were you playing on a cheap console ? Game has been close to perfect on PC since day 1.
If not upgrade ur pc before buying new games

Close to perfect maybe in performance.. That's where it ends.
Oh man! I first played Cyberpunk during the launch on console with minimal glitches, then after the big patch my second play through was like playing another version of cyberpunk. And now with these changes my third play through again will be like playing a new game!
Well it is another version of Cyberpunk... It's version 2.0
@@Limsed what were the main ones? 1.0, 1.6 and 2.0?
''minimal glitches during launch'' ? And I am supposed to believe that? Stop lying. Everybody had extreme bugs and glitches
@@Revan-eb1wbnot everyone, I played on PS4 at launch and didn't have a bunch of bugs, I did have an occasional crash but that was it on my end. I'm not saying people didn't have crazy amounts of bugs because they DID. I now play it on PC and I can't wait to play this update!
@@TheRealFAA lies. IF anyone claims that htey did not have bugs, they are lying. Simple as that. I played it on ps4 as well and it was a freaking desaster
Air dash is sick. The discovery of that jump dash exploit on release completely encapsulated my play style and after they patched it, the game never played the same. Glad they added and official option.
Will there be a New Game+ which allows us to keep Iconic weapons so we can get all of em finally?
probl. not

Well, that's what happens when a game is rushed out years before it's ready.
@justin9744 Which is funny because they announced the game YEARS in advance.

Looks like crafting is no longer tied to Tech. You can build anything as long as you have the blue print. Netrunning no longer needs Cool. I can finally max out my Body/Intelligence build because Overclock uses health instead of RAM for hacking.
It was time to return when they updated for next gen. This game is a marvel
great, I just picked the same back up about a month ago and managed to get about 15 hours in building tech/ crafting, telling me now I have to start over
So, M-179 Achilles / Black Widow are nerfed again? 8 mag size insead of 9 (used to be 12 even before that).
Good eyes. I didn't even notice that at first. I can't believe they nerfed it again. Hopefully, we can upgrade the magazine.

@@sam23696 They be acting like this is a Competitive shooter lol
not gonna lie, i picked up cyberpunk this week and i don’t even know why i’m playing starfield. it’s on a complete different level, and came out years ago.
cyberpunk has better combat, better writing and prettier environments at the cost of having no actual meaningful choice in quests the vast majority of the time. this will become rather obvious on a second playthrough.
@@gabe2135i know it’s an rpg but honestly that’s not a big deal for me at all. Just give me one really good story and that’s all I need. Not every game should be Baldurs Gate 3. I get why some would be disappointed by that though
@gabe2135 There are some meaningful choices that can affect the endings of some side quests and the main story but most main story choices don't seem to affect you until the end of the game still love the game though
@@Sharkgamer467 sure there are choices that affect the *ending* of quests. No real branching questlines though with some exceptions.
@@gabe2135 as a person who NEVER replays a single player story game, ever. that’s completely fine by me.
Have they added the stuff that was missing at launch? Like being able to finish the game without doing the main story? They said in one of the live wires that you could do that but no you can't! No the suicide option doesn't count as it's an option that is part of the main quest.
Wow this looks like the cyberpunk i was hyped for in 2019. Heres to hoping it plays out well
We need 3th person camera
Between this and starfield there's not enough time😢😢😢
I'm hoping they'll add more stuff and smooth out some details when I'm finished with Starfield 😂
the best way is to play cyberpunk while bethesda is fixing and improving starfield
What about the vanillass intro for whatever background you pick? Is it the same? did they change that?
ngl Starfield has kinda made me lose interest in this. Maybe I'll buy it whenever it's on sale.
Shooting drains stamina now..? Fellas idk how I feel about this change particularly.
Does anyone know if there is still the "more you use a certain weapon the more perk points you unlock" or has that been discontinued with this update?
There is an official online character planer, there it is removed so probably yes
They actually consolidated this concept into 5 skills instead of one for each of the trees. Still there, though.
10th change: The game will become unplayable again for several months because CDPR can't even update a game without breaking it, let alone adding an entire expansion.
Witcher 3 Next Gen Update for example.
Wait...shooting gun cost stamina ?? eee???
At worst, i'm pretty sure a mod will get ride of that, right after the release.
I hate how crafting worked I felt like crafting perk were essential skill and Iconic weapons couldn't really be upgraded and used until max level and a full crafting perk setup so they became wall ornaments till level 50 because upgrading at any other level means you can't get the best stat version of the iconic as the upgrade is tied the level you are when upgrading it.
I played this game day 1 and finished it in a week, haven't touched it ever since. I'm quite curious to check how much has changed ever since.
it might as well be a completed different game now. Most of the gamebreaking bugs you would have experienced are gone. Cops actually do something now. Vehicle combat is finally a thing.
Basically, treat 2020-2023 as early access, and pretend that Cyberpunk 2077 just released now
so what do you think?
Shooting drains stamina? That is very odd, but hopefully it's better then that sounds. Everything else seems great.
So excited for the dlc, the cyberpunk universe has to be on of my all time favorites
Amazing, ahead of schedule and under budget.
its weird that shooting uses stamina
Yea not going to like that
You've clearly never shot a gun
@@vandibox You clearly not shot it too, considering implants. And how they are going to balance it out - a big question. If EM weapons will have a high stamina usage, then something is really wrong there.

I hope the game runs as good as it did near release day. With scaling my 2070super did great. I havent played the game after beating it.
Finally the Cyberpunk 2077 that we've been waiting for, glad to see it's finally coming out of early access.
Except not, because it appears they still haven't added cyberpsychosis, the basis of the reveal cinematic trailer.
@@ULTRAOutdoorsman what are you talking about, the character from that trailer isn't even V.
In fact, they do appear in the game as a little cameo.
Also, there IS a lot of cyberpsychos, I don't think you played the game to say there are not any.
@@TheDravic I think what they meant was cyberpsychosis as a feature for V, not that the cyberpsychos don't exist in game.
@@rayclay3249 How would that even work? Think about it for a second, you can't be a cyberpsycho and continue playing. It's simply a game over screen. What's the point?
Instead, they give you the option of playing out a cyberpsycho scenario in patch 2.0 where you go berserk and cause MaxTac to treat you AS IF you were cyberpsycho. That at least makes sense.
Also, Relic would prevent you from going cyberpsycho anyway, if you want a lore explanation.
@@TheDravic "you can't be a cyberpsycho and continue playing. It's simply a game over screen. What's the point?"
"they give you the option of playing out a cyberpsycho scenario in patch 2.0 where you go berserk and cause MaxTac to treat you AS IF you were cyberpsycho."
You answered your own question there lol.
Anyways, whether Cyberpsychosis is implemented in the game or not is not my concern imo.
When are they gonna make the city feel more alive?
I absolutely loved cyberpunk around the time when the edgerunner updates were coming out. Can't wait to jump back in. I've spent hours simply walking around the city taking it all in.
There is literally nothing to take in in the original game
Yes! Couldn't have asked for more. Gotta put my other ps4 games on hold to revisit this.
The thumbnail looks exactly like fallout 3 and new vegas. I'm actually very confident that exact pose is used in dialogue with female npc's who smoke
THE biggest change is the health system for me. Having over 100 inhalers was dumb and I never felt like I was ever in danger.
CDPR made one step closer of pulling off a No Man's Sky, but they need a long way if they want to deliver what they promised before release
No they don't. 2.0 is already more than they ever promised before launch.
They should have the character use their left arm when using a weapon on a motorcycle. Unless in the future they have the throttle on the left handlebar.
So, the game is finished after 3 years. Nice !!
It’s nowhere near “finished” there’s more that needs to be added which won’t happen any time soon
This games turnaround is crazy makes you think what anthem could’ve been
Love cyberpunk to death so glad I have a reason to come back !
The fact that this wasn’t released with these features and there’s still more stuff about the game they never put in, is cray.
I really want to know if V's shadow is still janky while holding a weapon.
They didn't make a 3rd person view so it probably is. I really wish they would make the 3rd person ffs, how hard can it be?
@@mrkiky They would have to redo the game basically so pretty hard.
@@northdev559 I totally doubt it. The only bad thing about the 3rd person mod is the animations. They literally only have to do the animations.

I might be forgetting a game that does this, but the fact that shooting your gun will now cost stamina sounds like a crazy mechanic to add. Can’t wait !!
Nearly three years later and here we are.
Sounds like the game will finally be complete. Hopefully this all comes around with very few bugs..
I had no idea anyone still played this.
The most sad thing is that you have three live paths, but only one story. If they had a different story for each life path, then replayability would become a thing.
It is pretty linear tbh
Or at least have there be meaningful ways in which the story can play out but the lifepaths barely matter beyond the prologue.
I have three playthroughs so far and the main story is obviously mostly the same each time. THere are openings for some deviations though, and all three characters had VERY different final missions and endings.
That said, the game is obviously written from the ground up for the streetpunk background. The two others sometimes let you say background specific lines, but it feels like the game just suddenly remembers your background once in a while. And soemtimes the game does not remember and it just feels weird that the story is not acknowledging who you are.
Revamped healing is long overdue. The abundance and low cost of healing items combined with the lack of cooldown completely broke the already wonky combat balance.
Do distant cars still appear as flat images or has that been improved?
It seems I'll have to start over as my character was pretty heavy on a crafting build.
Shooting cost stamina would work when its some sort of energy draining weapon not just some regular rifle or pistol with its own ammunition
its about recoil, not the ammo
If you ever used a real gun, you would know how tiring the recoil is... If your wrist is weak enough it can even break.
It costs stamina in the sense that once you use up the bar, your shots become less accurate.
@@krejziks3398 if you ever run or jump you would know how tiring it is, although it doenst use stamina in the game
