I absolutely love this video. It really relaxes and calms me before bed. Usually when I go to sleep I lie there thinking about stressful things, but after this all I feel is happy and ready for a stress-free night.
Good for you! Regular yoga practice and decompressing and destressing are great habits to get into, especially at your age. As you get older, you'll thank yourself for the early training you've done. It'll help you deal with tests, more schoolwork and other stressful situations and people. Keep up the very healthy work!

Although I've never been able to commit to a daily bedtime yoga practice, this video is always there for me when I am so stressed or anxious (and holding it in tension in my body) that I don't even know where to begin to decompress. I am always remarkably centered, calm, and a at least a little bit better physically after doing this flow. I really appreciate that this sequence is so simple I can do it no matter how I'm feeling physically or mentally, yet it is profoundly powerful and helpful. Thank you so much for this video. You have no idea how helpful it can be.

This is such a great exercise, it goes by so fast, before I know if I have done the whole exercise in 15 minutes. This is the true remedy for relaxation and sleep. Forget ambien and zoloft.

If it is really painful and inflamed you might need to rest it for a while before you start stretching. So yeah, these video's will help you to maintain the flexibility, but again it might need rest first, that is a call you or a doctor need to make, its impossible for me to asses the situation from a distance. Hope this helps, and you can do sidekicks soon again without pain!!!

i really love this yoga sequence and find it relaxing, but when I go to sleep after a yoga sequence I find myself having lots of repressed childhood trauma and memories being brought up in my dreams. I have PTSD and my therapist told me yoga is a way of releasing trauma in the body. Has anyone else had this experience?
hi Esther i love ur videos keep em coming! :D can i ask u something.. im 14 and i do online kickbox workouts twice a week and also stretch and practice doing high kicks lol.. and about 1 month ago or more my left upper gluteus started hurting but not all the time only when i do for example a sidekick with the leg that doesnt hurt stay in that position for a while and then comeback to normal position..

Esther, what kind of mat do you use? My hands slip a lot when I am holding downward dog, due to sweating. Either you do not sweat or you have a high tech mat. I am being humorous. Let me know when you get a chance.
I love this video so much so I'm really annoyed that there's a disruptive advert plonked in 10 MINUTES AFTER THE VIDEO HAS STARTED. I ended up rushing out of my pose and needing to restart the vid as it wouldn't continue properly after the advert. Very frustrating, please fix if you can.
