Awww... Thank you! :) I'm really enjoying the simple, winter-y kind of palettes right now. I tend to go with a base of either warm or cool grey and then just add bits of colour or sparkle. Currently, I'm really in love with warm grey and that pebble blue colour with areas of white thrown in. Glad you found some inspiration! :)

Yes it can be hard to find the balance between colouring and filming when you have a UA-cam channel. Gorgeous pages! the white daisy mandala is so lovely!

I love your pics. Thanks so much for explaining what you used on the sewing machine, that was the first thing that caught my eye-when I color with grays or blacks, it always turns out blah and flat or blah and streaky. I wouldn’t have thought to use metallics, but I’ve heard a lot of people mention the kalour metallics, so I think I “need” to buy and try them.

Beautiful pages! I love your winter mandalas. I just finished my first ever Alien Worlds double spread, I was so not ready but glad it's done😅. It does take a lot to put into a youtube channel, I actually have three! One for coloring books that I just started, one for Bible journaling that is almost 4 years old and one for talking about books. It's a lot but I enjoy it so much.

It is very time consuming but I'm really enjoying doing it - I just wish there were more hours in the day so I could have more colouring time after everything else is done! :) And thank you for your kind words! :)

Awww... Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes - I think I just need to sit myself down and start with a small area on that rock page and get the shading done. And then move onto another small area. And then another. :) Eventually, I'll get the page done - but in small bits. :) Thanks so much for your comment and your encouragement!

Hi Connie. I love the sewing machine images. Both of them turned out so beautiful, very cute. Lovely choice of colors. I have the set of the Slicci gel pens too. They work really good. The Alien image will look different once you shade it with pencils. Just push through the ugly stage. In the end it will work out well 👍❤

Where you've got 4 sections for each of the seasons and then you would have mandalas and borders with foliage and/or florals for each season? I'd love a book like that. :) It was just something I was thinking about when I was colouring your lovely mandalas! :)

I have absolutely thought about that and you may see something along those lines in the future. I’ve got a few books planned for 2024 and another project I’m working on. The next few months will be A LOT of drawing and designing. Oh and I meant to write before, yes, m from Canada! Beautiful BC 😀🌲🌿🌱

Great stuff Connie! Not every page turns out as we envisage it, but the process is important - we can learn as much from what we feel didn’t work, as we can from the pages we like 😁 I think the Alien World page is going okay, perhaps it’s just missing some depth of tone which will come when you keep working on it 👍

So true! I was just saying to another viewer that I need to sit down and work on finishing just one more small bit. That might motivate me to finish another small bit. And another. And then maybe once more and more small bits are finished (and don't look so flat and yucky :)) I'll start liking the page more. :)
