When Claire did the side by side comparison of the old and new book there was just one page/picture that did not make it to the new book and that’s the last page. A picture of santa i believe with a bundle of presents on his back. Ty for the flip through. Im still waiting for mine to arrive aug 28. Hope it comes sooner. 😊
Thanks for the info! I don't have the original so I couldn't compare. It's so amazing the Claire and Emelie could bring this book back for us! Enjoy your book when it comes! :)
Me again ; oh I’m weak ! I have both of her earlier books but have just preordered this it’s just so enticing . I love colouring people and her people are gorgeous . It’s so cool that Claire basically orchestrated this wonderful release ❤
I just started watching your videos and I’m obsessed! Thank you so much for all the content!! As you speak, I find myself thinking the same things, so it feels nice to have common ground in the coloring world!
Hi Connie I am so envious you got Emelie Oberg so early!! I never thought to order directly from the publisher. I am also in Canada and not released on amazon til end of August. I have the original hardcover Sagor book and other softcover. The original books are great with prismacolor. Go on like butter. Hope this one the same. The original came out in 2017 if I am not mistaken. Enjoy!!!!
…and a biologist enters the chat…. I think the moose was a caribou, but could be a moose, your seahorse fact was right, and ermine are part of the weasel family but their own species. And, I agree, the ermine are actually foxes. Thanks for the flip through!
Excellent - I always welcome a fellow scientist! :) And thank you for the corrections and details. :) I wasn't sure if they had moose in Sweden (we have them around here where I am in Central Canada) and I also wasn't sure if caribou or reindeer had that big "moose nose" (we use that phrase when describing horses with big, broad noses, too :)) or a dewlap. The antlers didn't quite seem broad enough for a moose but I thought maybe that was just artistic license. :) Glad you liked the flip! :)
@@colouringchemist definitely artistic license! I thought caribous based on the antlers. I enjoy your videos, partially, because of the struggles you have, I have. Left brained nerds unite!
Hi hun I pre ordered the book from the same supplier in the USA and I received mine last Thursday 25/7/24 and I’m in Australia I was so shocked.. fed ex knocked on my door with a parcel I was like i didn’t order anything to be delivered by that courier 🚚 I was over the moon 🌙 lol it was lovely to receive the little card and message from Emilie too.. I got told it was pre realised copy.. thank you for sharing ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx
I forgot to mention that’s our normal temperatures hear in North Queensland the tropical weather.. it’s winter 🥶 hear and I’m in shirt and shorts our summer can get up to 39 degrees and high humidity the coldest it’s been at my house is 6 degrees when a cold front came though.. my house is fully aircon summer we turn on about 7 am in morning.. I would love to see snow ⛄️
Hi Kylie, I just flew into Melbourne from Townsville, and it was a shock to be in the cold again.. I went to my first Cowboys Ruby match at the new stadium last night (Saturday) ... Was a great evening, great game and enjoyed the whole experience... Thea
This was WONDERFUL!!!! I am ordering both books. Chatty is great, and...well, I haven't commented on your channel before because me and chemistry are, um, enemies? I'm one of those people who is chemically very sensitive, so I never made it through chemistry class, thus ending my dreams of becoming a geologist. BUT!!! I am an artist. And you say you can't draw, but I bet you can if you stop telling yourself you can't. Take all the chemical formulas you have undoubtedly drawn on chalkboards. Just draw those and color them in. And see if you get the urge to doodle a squiggle in there somewhere. Besides, you don't have to draw to be an artist. Colourers are artists. :-) Thank you for this lovely review of two books I have already put in my cart.
On the first book, if it bled through, would you use satin glaze? Zendoodle scares me. But i like your idea on coloring them. I've added this book to wishlist. I would love to see coloring in this book by you. It's very gorgeous designs. Im going to bring out a couple Zendoodle books and try them using your tips. I preodered the 2nd book. Thank you Colouring with Claire! This book is also gorgeous! I thank you for this flip through. I love your comments flipping through the pages!
I could certainly try Satin Glazing Liquid if my pens were bleeding through. I've also thought about trying workable fixative on a page to see how the Pitt Pens/Staedtler pens would work on that kind of prepared surface. I think I'll try to do a comparison video soon with pages prepared with both methods to see what kind of results I get. :)
The page where you thought it was a bottle and some rocks, I think, is excalibur from the sword in the stone. Hope that helps. Happy colouring from Samantha.
Coloring Chemist I don’t know whether to love you or hate you 😂…. I only colored with pencils until I watched one of your videos, the pit pens… no, markers no ….not for me … but then I saw the glitter 😂🎉… the only thing that sparked my interest was the glitter pens and I have a had set in my desk just mixed in for a change to write with for years but never thought I’d enjoy using them in the coloring books … but now I can’t color without the glitter pens !! 😂 guess I have to love ya … since I’m a fellow educator..well was … retired after 33 years about 10 years ago !! Virginia has a great retirement system .. we can retire at 55 with 30 years … my coloring looks like a kindergartner 😂 did it !! 😂Oh and I found coloring K through you and I do enjoy her !
Did you mean the Enchanted Creatures book? It's not really greyscale - it's more that the line work is quite close together in some areas so that it might give the impression of greyscale from a distance. Hope that helps! :)
@@colouringchemist The minute I saw Enchanted Creatures I knew I needed to order it. Can't wait to see what all you wonderful colorists do with the pages. Thanks for your feedback.
I preordered the fairy tales book but it will not arrive until September 🥲or even later, the preorder for EU was not clear at all (it required a company name?), so I hope it actually works
❤❤ gorgeous books
Thank you! 😊
Two absolutely gorgeous books.
They are! :)
So happy to see you’ve got your copy! Enjoy colouring! Xx 😊

Thankyou Connie Just Gorgeous🪷🪷
You're welcome! :)
Connie, I don’t not like the heat either. I’m so ready for the cooler weather. I live in the Pacific Northwest. I’m tired of the smoke and heat.
I know. :( The smoke has been awful for the past few years - those poor people in BC with the forest fires. :( Autumn can't come soon enough for me!!
