Very good suggestion. Young lawyers from top schools are used like chattel by seniors. There should be a minimum compensation standard for youngsters which can be both fixed and a percentage share of fees or profits. .

Appreciate your decision. May God give you strength and wisdom to thrust our nation on the right path. I hope there are many others in all spheres in India rise beyond their respect comfort zones to contribute to nation building. Nation will nose dive if righteous men and women do not remain active beyond their comfort zones in our country India.
Who is there to take any actions against the advocates? Yes you can complain to the bar association and do u think they would take actions against their own colleagues? What ia the remeday foe the common man? He has to appeoach a court for that also he has to take the assistance of an advocate and he would take take fees from the client and go on getting the case extended for years ( every time telling the same excuse to the client) yes law permits thw aggrieved can approach the court without an advocate. But, if at all.happens, all others inclusing the judge would make him a laughing stock. Pity
Equality for all. Art 14. But even now all are. equal but somebody more equal. Cases are taken in peiority depending upon the status of the client and advocates. If all are equal there should not be cases undecided for more than two decades.
Worst is most of the advocates are not accountable to the clients. Even police are reluctant to take cases against advocates, as it will never the see the light as one way or other the cases would go on getting extended in connivance with other colleague advoacates and judges. And even though they take hefty fees, they need not pay service tax Whereas all other professionals have to pay service tax!!
There is no law which restricts the number of extensions allowed in any cases. The lawyer asks and court grants it.
