If they don't fix this horrendous challenge levelling system I'm just gonna drop the game. There's no way I'm gonna read through 200+ challenges and find the specific ones I can complete just so I can actually progress. Instead of sorting them into 3 vague categories they should've sorted them into more. Like heist specific challenges, weapon challenges, etc. Would be so much easier to navigate through.
We know they will fix that it stupid to drop it just because you don't like switching weapons trying new things out witch clearly is there goal and this game isn't meant to be speed ran your leveling
@@0joshdude Yeah but it's also a bit bad to force people to do what they don't want to do, I enjoy stealth mainly, but after completing the missions a few times in stealth it basically will give you 0 level xp, so I have to go do some loud missions or just sit in a bathroom killing guards for an hour
@@0joshdude id rather drop the game and go back to pd2 than have to (as I said) read through 200+ challenges just to figure out what I'm going to do for levels. And a very big reason I'm debating dropping it is because not only is the levelling system horrible and is even causing people to want to just sit in a bathroom and power level, but everything is locked behind it. From guns to clothing, everything is level locked. And I don't want to have to souly do challenges to unlock features. I wanna play the game and have fun. Its hard to do that when everything is stuck behind poorly thought out infamy system.
I already went back to payday 2 and I'm a console player.
I'll come back to 3 when there's more content and I can rank up playing how I want to play. Although I don't see that happening anytime soon, unfortunately.
In reference to Payday 3's player numbers you have to remember that it's on Xbox Game Pass as well and more than likely counts for the overwhelm majority of players. I've seen this discussion in the Halo community as well, people bashing Halo Infinite because steam numbers look bad only to find out later thanks to a data miner that there are 3 to 4 times the amount of players on game pass as there was on steam. Out of all my mates I play with 5 of them have it on game pass and only 1 has it on steam, and the only reason he didn't go with gamepass is because he didn't realise it was on there. Obviously my group of friends isn't representative of an entire community but it's still food for thought
Moving on to DLC?? Where's the rest of the game??? A dozen guns and 6 maps wtf??

plattform specific updates are things like allowing console players to use keyboard and mouse, improving aim assist on ps5 and so on.
I genuinely have no idea how Payday 3 will survive. The stress of forcing revenue streams is like watching a car crash in slow motion, and this game will--for years--be directly compared to Payday 2's enormous depth of content and cost-effective prices. It feels it will live and die as "the payday with 1/10th the content at 10x the price", even if we grace it with YEARS of patience. I still wish it all the best though, I personally do prefer the core gameplay and stealth mechanics and think everything that's *NOT* the UI and progression loop is a general baseline improvement.
I feel it's a real robbery when they made a unfinished game and release another dlc to "improve it" and charge for more money.
I genuinely want to see a map of what starbreeze was working on during the development of payday 3. Because this is ridiculous. Paid dlc after a handful of guns and maps, broken gameplay and ai, overkill either being so easy I could do it in my sleep or everything screwing you over at once. The menus that look like someone made them in 2 minutes. THE LAGGING IN A SOLO GAME ABOUT QUICK FAST DECISIONS. This game will continue to fail and be the end of star breeze.
Is it possible to upgrade the standard version of PD3 to silver or gold version on ps5?
Yes and you don’t have to pay full price it’ll just charge you the difference
so much wrong with this game. the biggest issue is how there's no player xp earned throughout the heist like in payday 2
You have to complete heists to earn xp in PD2 though
@@bluelobster4593 you should start kill someone to get weapon challenge to get level this time i was grinding kill on touch the sky and let it fail if weapon kill is complete
@@festivegurock2167 Sidejobs dont give nearly as much exp as heists do.
Yeah I'm not surprised by any of it. Feels like they should spend longer on QOL, the servers are definitely not *certainly* stable yet, but at the same time their need to generate revenue must be understood, baring in mind all the money they owe. It's just I think they're thinking too short term.
The leak for MTX prices (not sure if it was recent) set a premium mask at $10. That's actually ridiculous. This game should realise where it's at, and be realistic. That's gonna turn off hella people, myself included. Gold edition purchaser btw.
Basically the DLC may be good but introducing revenue streams now, amidst bad press, is OVERKILL XD The real way to go about this and generate a positive audience is free content now, to make up for the F* ups, till December, then DLC 1 and Micros. If they have any business brains at all that'd be the approach. They're not doing well rn imo.

Cosmetics are part of the game, this 'it's just cosmetic' argument has always been a nonsense.

Yea I terms of if the servers are stable…I’d say they definitely improved but not stable. Hope they keep working on it more cause it is getting there
In terms of content… i hope not all of it is paid. Obviously the dlc Is paid tho I also pray it has multiple new maps. I hope after the messy launch they at least bring out cool new free stuff to win back the players trust.
In terms of quality of life specifically I’d like to see some challenges fixes definitely and hopefully some general ui changes.
If they can do that by the end of December and fix a lot of bugs and the servers then gg starbreeze. If not then I’m worried about the future of payday 3
At least they gave us solo play, fixed the servers but can't match with anyone
