Definitely. Sadly, they are missing out on a lot of different high-tech security measures. But then again, you probably do not want to make it too realistic so as to not train the people for real-life scenarios. 😂 The nice thing about the lock-picking is: You will end up in situations, where you not only have to pay attention to the lock-picking but also the detection around you. :D
Detection on doing illegal things should be improved like if you standing too close with Civilian during interaction (at least on 3 meter radius) will caused them to suspect you and they will alert the security if you dont stop them fast enough. Guards on Overkill and above will detain you instead of Escort you to public area again, this will make player more careful with their movement around surroundings. Skills should be classified into their own Specialists like Mastermind will give you more control on hostages and team coordination while Assault will give you more help during combat and their weapons are stronger than others, Thief or Ninja will give you faster interaction speed on objects and can steal key items without being detected while carrying items faster than others. Our skill tree right now was in mess and uncafegorized like Payday 2, I have to scroll them many times when tried to re-adjust skills that I will used on heists.

Being able to throw cameras onto moving people (even guards...) All of that is pretty nuts and I hope one will have to unlock those features with a skill tree or by completing missions.
@@Noxen74 yeeeah but it's more than that. The manager eye scan vault thingy with the human shield mechanic, so much more stuff to do before masking up, the interactivity like lockpicking and opening the windows.. It's all so damn interesting. PD2 after a while just felt like the exact same thing
@@majorpeepo I agree, but sometimes when you're playing any payday, you can get overwhelmed and blogged down by the numerus enemies that you'll see on higher difficulties, especially in solo, but like you said: loud is more fun.
It's interesting to see how stealth is actual stealth now - with actual gadgets to allow scouting areas before moving in, closing doors to obstruct vision, player made sound actually mattering, it's definitely more realistic in a sense. It definitely seems like a more traditional stealth experience, though compared to payday 2 that is much, much slower. They also fixed an issue with Payday 2 stealth which was waiting around for drills or objectives doing nothing (which mostly applied to older maps), though from the looks of it the other issues such as tedious bag hauling or the stealth restart fest doesn't seem to be addressed. All in all, it's an improvement to Payday 2's stealth which I am glad to see.
9:06, when doing solo stealth i did the exact same thing, but instead of a throwing knife i threw a grenade. these new controls can get a little confusing, for a player coming from payday 2
@@jotsayou can't rebind, at least in the beta. Not to mention the controls don't show up, a lot of the things buttons do show up as "STRING TEXT MISSING" so you can't tell what the buttons do

How did you force solo? I somehow found a lobby where everyone was pretty damn good at stealth and it went loud as we started leaving the vault, that’s the closest I got.

the cool thing about payday 3 is that the seed is randomly generated when you start a lobby, and it remains the exact same, even if you vote to restart. so if u get really good RNG but mess up the stealth, u can restart and have the same rng

Top notch gameplay. Although a bit disappointed of the lack of voicelines, like at 3:12. Just imagine if the civ said a little "What the-" as he was grabbed, but Hoxton quietly said "Make a sound and you're a dead wanker!". Imo these little things make games more immersive...would be cool if it was in the game.
Overkill has always been supposed to be the hardest difficulty and even in payday 2 you can see they didn't planned to add death sentence since the death wish mask description is "overkill salutes you" while the death sentence it's really generic

This is still easy run on Beta because you already memorized all the location and item placement, whether it was Normal, Hard or Overkill, it will be at same place on certain runs. What I wanted is : on Overkill, they should add another Main Objectives to prevent players cheesing the game easily (like finding Correct Manager/Excecutive instead of mutiple of them) and Camera placement should be randomized like you wont know that each run have different places and you must more aware with them. I dont want Payday 3 will be released like beta did, they should add more Variation to make replayable fun
What I wanted to say is not about the contacts, but for every map run, we should have more random camera placement and higher difficulties should have more main objectives added or roadblocks that needed to clear it 1st before proceed to next objectives. For example, on this bank heist, they should added electric shock on the switch (gate switch) to prevent them interacting it easily and you need find the switch breaker to shut down like how Firestarter did on Bank Heist or adding more switches to shut down before entering the vault on Stealth mode. If Overkill and above still have same objectives, it wont be a challenge anymore since it become same run again and again.

Back in the old days, before a lot of skill changes, you would have to pick a ghost skill to increase the number of pagers you could answer. Normally it would be 2 pagers, but with the ace skill it would be 4. After the skill tree reword, they put the 4 pagers limit basekit and came up with new skills

Not really, yes you can do more actions than Payday 2, without skills, but you still need to put on the mask at one point to do more actions. Unless you play with people, then you can made more progress without mask
I wish there was an animation for collecting money. seems kinda lazy. but yeah. Absolutely impressed with the stealth now compared to PD2, but it'd be nice to have more of a game that isn't just "press X and hold to do thing" for a few seconds, like always. Being able to carry two bags and holster your gun, actually throwing them with some weight. These things haven't changed since P2.
find the game and wait for everyone to leave then you can play and restart all you want but you can't change dif (they can't leave when you end the heist)
The game will maybe get better? It’s still gonna run on the same engine with the same graphics (very high fidelity as shown here) so you’ll probably need a strong PC unless you’re on console which probably means you shouldn’t worry about frame rate issues. (at least with PS5 and XBOX Series.)
I really want Payday 3 but if it's gonna have a requirement for being online all the time and not having any offline options like how Payday 2 had option to play offline then I am not sure I'll get it. I mean if the internet goes out for any reason then I won't be able to play

The stealth disappoint me, it’s like pd2 it’s to easy. Like the guard is blind and the camera literally caught him even if the ! Didn’t came up. Like if you even caught on the camera a half second you should be really caught. I thought in pd3 they would’ve make it way harder and better and funnier to do stealth. Biggest problem is they are blind and deaf. Ugh
I think they have to add a way to move bags more fast, because is too boring move 12 bags, it is literally half of the mission time that is take. In the payday 2, specially in solo run, I use stack bags mod to decrese the weight to pickup 2 or 3 at the same time. I dont think this is the best option, but sure there is someway to make this less painfull

If this is how the average stealth goes on overkill, even as a solo, i might genuinely lean into stealth playstyle more than loud this time around
Higher the difficulty, the less pagers you have, and more variables there are. Much better than pd2 where mayhem+ is just more guards and titan cams

This is old build but with overkill anything is possible
The game will maybe get better? It’s still gonna run on the same engine with the same graphics (very high fidelity as shown here) so you’ll probably need a strong PC unless you’re on console which probably means you shouldn’t worry about frame rate issues. (at least with PS5 and XBOX Series.)
the last thing they worry about in betas is performance. im sure it will be better

I really want Payday 3 but if it's gonna have a requirement for being online all the time and not having any offline options like how Payday 2 had option to play offline then I am not sure I'll get it. I mean if the internet goes out for any reason then I won't be able to play

I love how Payday 3 is not an actual reskin of previous game, but it's an actual sequel with new gameplay mechanics and new stealth gadgets. Overkill really outdone themselves.
The stealth disappoint me, it’s like pd2 it’s to easy. Like the guard is blind and the camera literally caught him even if the ! Didn’t came up. Like if you even caught on the camera a half second you should be really caught. I thought in pd3 they would’ve make it way harder and better and funnier to do stealth. Biggest problem is they are blind and deaf. Ugh
I think they have to add a way to move bags more fast, because is too boring move 12 bags, it is literally half of the mission time that is take. In the payday 2, specially in solo run, I use stack bags mod to decrese the weight to pickup 2 or 3 at the same time. I dont think this is the best option, but sure there is someway to make this less painfull
