When they deliver your brick they’ll scatter it around the building for you. Make sure to get some OSB for them to sit the brick cubes on the finished concrete in the front. Will help keep it looking nice. Typically you don’t pour your finished concrete until after brick for that reason but the plywood will protect you.
That poor doggy might have worms! thanks for Video!!
The kids college fund has never looked so much better!
Unlike your own 😂
If you have access to that back road, I'd put a door on the back. Drive thru is a game changer, plus you can move projects outside and out of sight
Give us a plan in the next video, the walls, insulation, roof, electrical, etc! Looking good so far!
Been waiting for the next video! LETS GOO!
Also boy that 100k to 150k seemed to happen fast. That’s awesome!
Looking good! Next up an in ground pool...lol
been watching your build, your a couple months ahead of me... Mine is 36 x 42 red Iron but 14ft eves and 3/12 pitch. Just got the pad poured this weekend, super stoked. they did mine a bit different than yours, I have 18" perimeter footers but I have pads 4'x4' for the posts and corners are 2'6" x 2'6" for 36 yards of concrete and about a 1000' of #4 rebar. Congrats!
I’d spend the extra for zip system over OSB especially since your doing it yourself slowly you can be “dried” in shingle free till you get to them. I can imagine doing a full roof that size by yourself with a job and a family could take weeks after the sheathing is finished
yea new vid keep it up man!!
INCREDIBLE !! I'M JEALOUS !
Might have to move to Texas. 😤
You can do this in many states.
Looks great Chad...your hard work is really paying off!

When you build or have built something that will outlast yourself in life, a satisfaction in your soul is achieved. Congratulations Lonestar!
World's biggest pergola, I love it! This shop is going to be EPIC!
I thought Evan Shanks backyard TX shop was overboard, but this shop gonna be much bigger and taller.
been looking for this video lol
Awesome!
Dude that red iron building is going nowhere in a storm! Looks great.
Anybody else check this channel every day for new videos for this garage? :D
On the edge of my seat waiting for the update videos. Good Luck!!
Feels like we waited sooo long for this video. Not all the way through it yet but whats the hvac plans?
Chad, did you not want a drain in the new floor? I haven't seen anything for Plumbing in a Mud Sink, Sewer or utilities......
Waited over two weeks for this
Yeah, Logan!! We are dominating your shed 👏👏🤭🤭
Hope you have great and understanding neighbors! The shop will turn out amazing looking!
It’s about time!! Been waiting for the progress video for weeks. 😁
I helped a friend erect his steel building 50X80X18 and it was a fun weekend. We had zero experience but were able to get it done with 5 guys in a weekend.
crazy that you got your HOA to allow it I am sure that was a battle. a friend of mine wanted build a small garage, and it took an act of god to get it. good for you👍👍👍
Классные тачки у тебя!
Watching this on my phone while Top Gear is playing on the tv. Jeremy Clarkson in sterio! 😂
Gongrats, my dream workshop!
This is so AWESOME! Can’t believe you are this far already. Thoroughly enjoy your videos. 👍😎🤟
Congrats on the new shop. Can’t wait to watch the series of its completion
40 years ago I hung red iron and your going to have a great time .
Holy cow I’ve been watching your videos for the past 5 years back when you lived in Hawaii. My first video I watched of yours was the rough country kit on your Silverado back when I owned a Silverado lol. Man time flys! Keep on keepin on!
Can't wait till it is done. Going to be amazing.
Trust the process 🙏🏻 🎉
Looks great
Solid!
so excited to continue this journey with you! way to go
Looking great, I am so happy for you!!
Love the content! I have a 2013 Z71, a 2000 C5, and a 22 SS Camaro... and I love living in Texas !!!!
Thank god there is a new video i’ve been needing it
Looking good man
I've been tasked with building out a very similiar wooden 40x60 pole barn with a 16 foot truss height that was poorly built with the improper nails back in 1993, into a fully streamlined restoration shop. I had a bare sheet metal shell and trusses that sagged around 2 inches with a 200 amp panel with one outlet, and one light to work with when I got there. I've had to reset, reinforce and structurally screw the trusses back into their proper places, and then frame in all the rooms I needed, then do all my wiring, as well as putting a 14k commercial Atlas 4 post in. It's a lot of work, and can get very stressful at times, on top of the "restoration" part of my job that consists of eight 69 mustangs sitting in the shop, that I'm in charge of as well. It's been 3 years in the making so far. Parts are not getting any easier to find a the years go by
Awesome Chad! Good job! 👏👏
Wow thats fantastic
so happy for you brother. head strong.
Can not wait till it's done, great video
That is super huge! Great job!
That shop is going to be sweet!!!!!!
i would have never spent that kind of money in a HOA area
Install several 4 post lifts so you can double your parking one car above and one below each lift.
Taking shape!
Finally an update!!!! Been waiting
🤙🏽solid!!!
Awesome, dreams come true if you work hard enough. Love your channel, you've enabled me to dive in and do mods to my 2019 Silverado.
Kick Ass, Man!
Shop is looking sweet
Sorry if you mentioned it but are you doing a garage door at the back for a pass through? May be something worth looking into now rather than later if not . Would be very convenient and in Texas heat would pass breeze through to cool space
You must live close to where I do, in north central Texas, it has been a hot dry summer. The building is looking nice.
Have some envy here my barn is only 60x30. It has most my ranch and farm equipment in it.
It’s coming along nicely bro ✊🏽💪🏽🤙🏽
This is so dope... I appreciate the content... its motivation for sure. Started watching you about the Trailboss now been following all the progress keep it up
It’s good to see someone do a realistic project! Sick!
$30,000 in steel alone doesn't seem realistic to most.
well its at least better then most other channels with millions of subs who dont care about spending alot of money@@markbrown2296
You give it a lot of details which is great in your project. What I haven't heard about is anything regarding Electrical or Plumbing unless I've missed something along the way.
Even to have a small bathroom which would have required plumbing coming up through the slab for toilet I haven't noticed.
I don't think your over your head at all. I think you did incredible planning, and it will come together just fine.
Great work men loving the vids
congrates mate
Looking good the hard work is getting ready to start for you lol
Wow, your dog can drift😂😂
Cool 😎 . I did a stick a building ( 2x6 walls ) in 1999 (24’x50’) . Energy truss vaulted ceiling. I had my garage built for me ( outside finished only ) and I finished the inside . Cost me $20,000 with cement. Just crazy what it all cost now . Just wow 😅 !
Looks great, man! From my understanding, the steeper pitched roofs are purposeful to reduce uplift from the strong storm winds we get here in Texas. Can't wait to see this thing finished.
Get it Hawaiian 💪 🤙🏽
Been waiting bro, I was about to message you to complain about the video taking too long.. 😂🔥
Nice looking residential/commercial shop. Now are you going to be running 3 phase power to it too?
Christmas Lights are going to look awesome on it!
The plans are perfect to a micrometer nothing could literally go wrong... I'm in over my head 🤥
I'm not sure why he keeps saying he is in over his head. If he planned it as well as he says he did that shouldn't be an issue.
@@markbrown2296 it grinds my gears 😂
I’m jelly
Great job
I need me a barnhome shop
Hahahaha, just today I was thinking, I haven’t seen a new vid from the lone star Hawaiian. And here it is, lol.
BIG SCHOOL!!!
We don’t need no stinkin hard hats. These hats are fine. 😂
We have the same size shop; trust me, it gets small quickly. I wish we would have doubled it.
Have a lot of money 💰
looking at it from the front.. Looks like you can add a covered driveway on the side there all the way to the back... But does look bad ass so far! Have been looking at putting a 40x80 one and maybe you have twisted my arm into doing it... LOL
Crazy to see how far you’ve come. I believe I came across your videos a long time ago while looking into Toyo R/T tires that were on that Silverado. Either way can’t wait to see where this building takes your channel!!!
looks great man! reminds me of when we built my dads garage on the ranch, this is way more professional tho haha!
Cheehoo! Cherry brah!
man for that money this shop is gonna be small.. should have gone bigger
Congrats bud on getting the frame completed! I'm so jealous you got started before me, I'm still waiting on my builder to get the 46 piers installed! It's looking really good, looking forward to the next video, take care bud and be careful working out there in that heat!!
We just got done digging and installing the power and water lines in new record breaking heat for us, over 120 with the humidity, it was extremely dangerous out there!!
its looking good, i prefer 4 post hoist, 2 post hoists are junk lol
What possessed you, as a car guy, to buy a house in an HOA to begin with?
This is awesome and all, but why not sell the house and do this in the country? Having to jump through so many hoops is ridiculous.
That dog scratching his butt got me crying.
Lookin good brutha! Ill be down next month. Lemme know what yall are doing!
Looks great men. Are you gonna use same color shingles?
Dog doin’ a burnout
Dog scoot B roll 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice! I have a 2020 Trailboss Custom. I was wondering why you did not install a 4 inch lift on your Trailboss. I'm trying to decide between the 2 inch lift and the 4 inch lift.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Love your Camaro!
Equipment guys scratching they head we didn’t leave this here n they look around n saw u n u closed the blinds😂😂😂
When is the video coming out bro? What’s up from the OC,Dallas,TX
