Rather coincidentally, I attended this stadium a couple of years later in 1978 when Eintracht played Borussia Moenchengladbach, who were also a top team in those days. Eintracht’s stadium was in the middle of a forest and it was called, quite appropriately, the ‘Wald Stadion’ (Forest Stadium.)

I was there.such a great goal from padden.supporters club coaches.then we beat them in the 2nd leg on that great night.
