Plugged something that drew more than 200W and it stopped working, the older model had a overload reset button, this one I could find a way to reset the inverter. It just showed the warning sign and the ac outlet didn’t work anymore.
Not sure if it was bricked but because I couldn’t get it to work again I took it back to Costco ( called the service number first but no answer , just a long wait on the phone for someone to pick up, gave up after 20 minutes)
Anyone else ran into this? Are they really that problematic if you plug something that draws more than the 200w advertised?

If it is fully charged how much power does it store then for the power and USB’s? It’s gotta have a mah that it stores right? What’s the limit on like phones you can charge power you can use before you have to recharge it again figuring you can’t recharge it and only have then one full charge. Like what will you be able to charge with it or power up before it’s dead again and you can’t recharge it again

@@2StallGarage is it OK to leave it plugged in to an AC outlet on a regular basis so the Cat jumper stays fully charged? They say it needs to be recharged every 30 days but most guys won’t think of going out to recharge it, so when they need it in the future it will probably be dead. It likely mentions this in the owners manual literature but those can be quite wordy, which is why guys like me resort to these UA-cam instructional videos.

I plug it in overnight and then use it until it’s 1 bar down on the battery indicator before plugging it in overnight again. I don’t leave it continually plugged in, but I didn’t read the manual to see if it could be either.

I bought one after a scout camp because one of the other dads had one. He was using it as a power bank. Since I have had it I have used every feature of it from the jumper, usb charging, AC plug, compressor and even the light. It has performed great in every regard.
When it comes to the air compressor I love how you set the psi and it just stops when you reach it be it a bike tire, car tire or basketball.

This thing is great! I bought mine in November 2022 & only charged it once at that time. I lost the charging cable at the same time lol! Since then I’ve jumped 3 dead cars, including my Buick 455 yesterday that took a really long time to crank since I haven’t fired it up in like 6 months! I’m might just buy a new charging cable for it. Just been holding back coz I have a feeling it will pop up as soon as I buy the new one

Do you put the black (-) cable on the negative (-) terminal of the battery, or put it on the engine block/metal to ground it? Your video looks like you have it connected to the negative (-) terminal?

Wait, wrong video. If the screen is stuck on the entire time, the unit is defective. It should turn off momentarily after you switch it off with the black turn dial.
