Maybe, if it brings back some of the cut fun stuff like Naked Snake's nightmare from the recent remakes than yeah. At the very least I need the Raiden mask to still be a option from the start.

All I want out of this remake is seamless transitioning between areas. No more loading screens. I want to feel like I’m in a vast jungle. Not individual set pieces
Yea it will be the same map as you can see on the gameplay video but 100% without transitions. It will make the map look smaller I guess

I don't think I would care about that personally, like every game needs to be open world like it actually changes anything.

Really glad we're getting crouched movement, hopefully this will include over-the-shoulder aiming too. I hope they make the survival viewer work in real-time, pausing for everything got old quickly.

Wouldn’t get my hopes up for something revolutionary. Looks like a 1:1 remake with graphical enhancement and some minor improvements. Real time wound healing would be awesome though. Would love to see some animations.
@@punishedsnake9041 I suppose kinda like in mgsv but with slight changes. You press a button and sit down. Then you can choose a course of actions. Let’s say you want to take off a bullet, you just do it while sitting, but without having to go to the menu and all that.
@@Commanderofficer72 Would that not completely change the gameplay mechanics, as any wounds would have to be done away from nearby enemies and you're basically screwed as soon as you get seen.
@@robertcooper457 I mean, that’s true. However, I don’t think it’d essentially be a bad change. I’d personally like it, but the mgs3 injure menu is already good, I don’t think there’s a need to change it.
I was cleaning out my closet last week and pulled my old ps3 out. I hooked it up to my lg c2 48" oled. I put in a copy of mgs collections remastered. Couldn't believe how good Snake Eater looked still. I dont think it even needs a remake but im still gonna get it. The first 2 games should be remade imo.
does mgs2 work for you? my copy cant boot 2, just gets stuck in a infinite loading screen. im wondering if its a disc issue or something else.
Yes, MG and MG2 should be remade, as well as a game between MGS2 and MGS4 with the story of Raiden transforming into the cyborg we all know and love in MGS4, all the while rescuing Sunny from the Patriots being the main and ultimate goal, with obvious bosses and things to do as well to eventually become 1st generation Raiden cyborg...

@@OldSolidSnakeIf I remember correctly he went to area 51 to get Sonny back. Then he got caught by some non-government dude who broke his mandibles. He was then turned into a black cyborg and then worked for the PMC that the dude owned under mind control and he then broke free and contact some cyborg doctor to get the suit in MGS4

This channel deserves to be held high as 1 of the most informative and entertaining gaming channels. Im not sure how much work goes into these videos but videos like Death stranding 2 trailer breakdown is what captivated me to stay. I appreciate your work dawg.

Hope there is an option to bring back the Green and yellow filter. Realism doesn’t always equal better.
I was worried until I saw the PC release. Day 1 buy from me. The uniform and physical scarring is 100% awesome. I was slightly obsessed when I was younger about having the coolest looking camo and facepaint combo for all the important cutscenes( Sorrow + Splitter face = GOAT), so having that extra layer of detail for cuscenes is amazing.
Quite excited! I look forward to the announcements because apart Delta, MGS4 is a game I'm hopeful to finally being able to play in my own console.
I'm excited to see what Volgin looks like

All I care about is this new upcoming MGS livestream where they'll hopefully announce Master Collection Vol 2 and more importantly confirm MGS4 being included in the collection,Thats all I care about and care about it much more than the upcoming Delta Remake I swear...

Mgs5 is a lifeless, side mission filled, time wasting, storyless mess which was rushed out and severely undercooked. It is the biggest stain in the MGS franchise.

Sigh... You don't know what you're talking about. The MGS3 demo on PS2 had the same title screen that was shown in the leaks... So maybe the final product will come with the true title screen. Wait and see....

I'm so hyped for this game.
Metal gear Snake Eater was my first online game at the time and the lore of the game resonated with me deeply since I am an avid Metal Gear fan since the Nes version.
I only ask one solely thing for this title, the third-person view on aiming, that's all I want as a new feature.

The 3ds version (I've been playing it recently) has both fps aiming and third-person over the shoulder aiming. The remake is probably going to do the same thing and have both perspectives of aiming.

I had no intention of moving up to the ps5, but this has me reconsidering that decision.
What I fear is that we're being sold on graphics, NOT substance.

MGS3 was one of the first games I remember playing as a kid that really left an impression! I actually rented it at a movie rental store which a had a section with a few ps2 titles! I chose MGS3 just to have something new to play not realizing it would become one of my favorite games of all time! Funny how life works out sometimes!
I just want metal gear solid master collection volume 2 with MGS4.
So glad you pointed out what the remake’s title screen was based on. I’ve seen so many people complaining about the lack of the cqc title screen and literally acting like that means the entire game it ruined. But the fact that it’s based on the trial and 3ds versions of mgs3 just shows how much the devs know about mgs3.
The original game was supposed to be a “war” game, and I’ve wondered what that would have looked like.
It would be cool to get modern remakes of all of the games, including the MSX2 titles.

The one thing I hope, beyond the remake being faithful in as many ways it possibly can be, is that it has shooting controls like in MGSV. If it has the option to choose classic shooting controls, like how it originally was or modern shooting controls, like in MGSV, then that would be a great way for veterans and newcomers to enjoy the game and feel at home with controls either can appreciate.

I am looking forward to this remake and if Konami says what they say about it sticking to its original storyline unlike the RE 3 remake. My best Metal Gear Solid game is still 5 but let see if Delta holds up to the standards
I’m so excited!!! I haven’t been this excited for a game since MGSV. The graphics look great, an glad to know they are sticking with the original, story wise, as long as the gameplay is similar to MGSV than this will b great

Can't wait for this. I remember I finished this game more then 5 times, no kill challange and everything. All I want of this game is the same game with good graphics and obviously some tweaks here and there. Such a good game

I like Venom Snake and all because he's technically BB, but Solid Snake and Raiden are the ones I grew up with playing both MGS2 and 4, as well as Rising Revengeance
I am most looking forward to reliving the experience that is MGS3. While I loved MGS1 and MGS2, Snake Eater was the game that cemented the Metal Gear games as my favorite series.
I’d really like to see solid snakes first 2 missions as MetalGearSoild 6&7, it be cool as if old solid snake is telling the story, and cuts to us being a young rookie snake

I want "I like MGS4", "I like MGSV", "I like MGRR" options to be added. I like MGS4 could have Snake with a moustache like Old Snake during Virtuos Mission. Would be cool to have a cheat code or something to have the moustache in Operation Snake Eater or something. I like MGSV could have Snake wearing a scarf like Venom and I like MGRR could have the Raikov Mask but Snake carrying a Katana or something and then just putting it back in his backpack.
I sincerely hope this remake does well. It is honestly one of my favorite games, and the fact that they say its faithful to the original but featuring good updates like crouch-walking gives me hope. Hoping also for third-person aiming as well, much like games in the series after this.
The other reason I want this to do well is because it can lead to other games in the series getting remade, and I seriously want MGS4 to be remade. I think the gameplay of 4 is great, but I really think it needs a chance to have a cutscene-to-gameplay ratio higher than "interactive movie". Acts 3-5 of that game were basically one to two small set pieces then the boss fights. I really think a remake of 4 that greatly expands on gameplay length and areas would really be amazing, but delta has to do good before that would probably even be considered.
Delta gives me hope that one is actually being remade cause biggest rumor was that 2-3 were going to be copy paste of the old experience but one is getting a full proper remake and i can't wait to see it all
I hope they remake metal gear 1 and 2 first before doing Solid. If they are starting with 3 they might go chronologically

i like this type of remake. If they keep the original gameplay, maybe add a few tweaks, and put it in modern graphics, that is what a remake should be. It looks like they're going that way. Even using the same voice overs is great.
I'm optimistic, the same voices being used is a good sign

I’m very hesitant around the remake solely because I feel like it’s hard to quantify, but the soul of the original I feel is going to get lost in translation with the unreal engine five just driving for photorealism as weird as it may sound the yellow greenish filtering did add a lot of atmosphere that I feel is lacking based on the trailers as well as little things like how snake grins in certain moments and I feel like they’re just gonna make them completely serious all the time but if it’s done well + adds QoL changes it’d be amazing

I can’t wait till delta comes out i still have my original copy from my ps2 ,but I hope it not going to be like like a two part separate game just like ground zero and pay extra for a DLC into MGS5

Different control doesn’t equal change in game mechanics and crouch walking doesn’t really change much if you don’t blend in. I wouldn’t worry about the game changing.

Just how "Moby Dick Studios" was working on The phantom pain. It's curious how at the beginning of MGS3, when John/Naked Sake/Big Boss is sitting on the plane smoking the cigar, the Major says "commencing virtuous mission", and Snake replies "virtual mission?"

I would personally like to see some advancements made to the CQC system from MGSV style, where each encounter looks unique
I'll wait for reviews, if it's 90+ on opencritic I'll check which platform plays it best (recent PC releases/ports of UE games are all stuttering messes) and then I'll think about it. Don't give in to the hype, don't pre-order, think!

Best game ever made my childhood NAKED SNAKE
The only thing I’m worried about is UE5 on consoles. I have an LG C2 and every UE5 game I’ve played on the PS5 looks pretty bad. It’s blurry and has weird dithering rendering that I can’t stand.
I’m really hopeful for this, I usually replay MGS 1-4 at least once a year and although like certain titles I don’t think need certain remakes such as Resident Evil 4 which is my favourite game, with the HD versions I was always agains the idea of a remake but it turned out fantastic and I may even enjoy it more than the original, I just really hope it stays as faithful to Snake Eater as it seems to be in all this trailer footage ! Can’t wait to play it ! Also if it does well I’d really love to see a MGS1 remake as that’s most probably my favourite title in the series

I really feel Kojima and Shinkawa's involvement would bring more to the game.
Damn, I even consider not watching the new trailers when they come out, just to see the new character models for the first time when I play the game. Will be tough to stay disciplined though 😅

i don't know why but i get the feeling mechanics will be outdated, the camera position and distance looks exactly like the ps2 game, i thought it would take inspiration from mgs5, and why is he so wide even more so than the ps2 model.
I really just wanted them to open the areas up more. Maybe make sneaking through the jungle less linear

Bro, metal gear is literally the definition of woke.
In a Hideo Kojima game, all characters will have the opportunity to being almost naked, without matter if it's a man or a woman. And metal gear is easily one of the sagas with most characters with multiple open sexual orientations.
I don't doubt Eva's over sexuality would be shown as well as Volgin bisexuality or Ocelot having a weird interest on Naked Snake.

Yeah these remakes are becoming excessive now. These devs are so creatively bankrupt to the point they’re not even hiding it anymore.

What if you can sky dive from the mountains back to the forest? Or make the small enemies bases bigger and more elaborate
I hope they can somehow keep the pace of the game the same. MGSV gameplay was good, but the pace of 3 worked really well for the game imo
When is it going to release I'm so excited for this I'm going to buy it as soon it releases I'm a metal gear freak
