- We've had to wait a long time for this, but the Euro 2020 tournament is quickly approaching and the footballing community are certainly looking forward to it! I have a go at predicting what will happen in Euro 2020, in 2021.

Looking back and I definitely got a lot wrong (not everything at least lol)! Big up to Denmark particularly who really won the hearts of everybody. Italy England Final, can't wait 😁
I have to agree with this prediction. I think Italy and Turkey are dark horses. Turkey has impressed in qualifying and Italy has yet to lose and is playing far better attacking and possession football. Old school Italy sitting back in defense will make it tough for a team like Belgium to even get the ball to score.

Interesting prediction, but perhaps not that risky. A prediction a lot of people would go for. But I have a feeling some countries will really surprise this summer!
That Portuguese squad though looks packed. They were very good in their Nations league matches vs France(a draw and a loss). They lost the second leg on a defensive mistake(two defenders injuries including Pepe). They are favourites too.
I would be very cautious on them.

France are strong but I don’t think it will be easy. Lloris is aging and in decline, Pogba just starting to find form again, Griezmann is overhyped. Interested to see Coman in action on the big stage. The team is very strong though, quality in every position. Main contenders? Belgium have quality but lack the drive from what I’ve seen. Netherlands are always good but don’t have enough depth. England have a great lineup if you ignore the defence and keeper. Germany will be interesting now they have some young talents poking through again. Spain I can’t see making it all the way. Italy might be the toughest challenge to be fair. Playing with an iron wall right now. I’m excited for it all to kick off!

England are winning the euros this is the best team since 2004 we have Foden mount grealish rashford sancho Kane James who are sharp on the ball we’ve got 2 world class playmakers and the worlds best striker. Whilst port is very good I can agree but our mid will dominated there and our striker is better ( ronaldo isn’t a striker just saying ) player for player we’ve got the better players only ronaldo and the Centre backs are better then England’s and the rest England has the better players
You have four non powerhouses in the quarterfinals. Brave prediction. There will be probably 2-4 of them. You went for the most number of upsets. I have the same winner Belguim. My semifinals are only different with Spain being in and Portugal out. Personally I believe Portugal might face a group stage exit. Unpopular opinion but I won't trust them this year to do anything.
Denmark will definitely finish above Russia, especially with home advantage in all group matches. Croatia have been in poor form recently and I think they will lose to beyond motivated and shithouse-capable Scotland in Glasgow. Sweden can also finish above Poland, but that's basically a 50/50 so it's an acceptable prediction. Other than that, really solid stuff.

@@SportSighted Upset and upset... Denmark is ranked 28 places higher than Russia according to FIFA and bookmakers have Denmark as a huge favorite against Russia.
All I can say is that Russia will probably pick up form at the EUROs. I can't imagine that they would be as poor like as of late. I believe all games between Belguim , Denmark and Russia will be very close. Not decided by more than one goal difference.
Croatia will go far.
Croatia has not been playing well in the Nations leauge but we played against the likes of Portugal and France, finished above Sweden in the group, with the fact that our couch has been experimenting and trying to integrate young players such as oršić petkovic and Brekalo. If we manage to improve our defence and stay focused we should be able to deal with Scotland hopefully ✌🏻

It's kind of sad to me how no one seems to believe in the Czech Republic even though they're much better than Scotland.
It's because most people that make predictions here haven't watched them play. They just see the roster and the roster is meh. Add then the fact that Scotland has home advantage. I have watched the Czechs play. They are very good. Only issue can they finish off their chances? Against Belguim and Wales they should have scored way more. I follow also Croatia closely. Czechia is in a much better form but Croatia looks very often much better in a tournament situation. They just don't care about NL. Qualifiers they want to win them but they don't put their best effort into it at times.

From an objective observer, France will win, most talented team by far, better than 2018. Imagine a starting 11 including this, lloris, varane, pavard, pogda, kante, upfront, mbappe, benzema and grieseman. Don’t know why everyone seems to have Belgium winning it all. They won’t score even one goal against the France defense just like in 2018. Also, Belgium was younger and stronger in 2018 than they are now.

@@severusrogue259 Denmark is one of the best teams in Europe when it comes to defending as a unit. They keep opposition away from their goal. Only very powerful teams such as Belguim can penetrate their defense. Last time these teams meet Belguim won twice comfortably 2-0 away and 4-2 at home. However Denmark under Hjulmand is in steady progress. Expect a closer game this time with also some crowd in Copenhagen. I see a 1-1 draw at the EUROs but I think Belguim will just top the group due to better goal difference. I think both will win their games against Russia and Finland.
