BLUE by Apichatpong Weerasethakul

Le réalisateur Apichatpong Weerasethakul - Palme d’Or au Festival de Cannes en 2010 pour son film Oncle Boonmee - rejoint la 3e Scène avec sa nouvelle réalisation, Blue, tournée pendant 12 nuits au cœur de la forêt thaïlandaise.
C’est la nuit. Une femme ne trouve pas le sommeil. Près d’elle, une toile de fond se déroule, révélant deux paysages différents. Sur le drap bleu de la femme, une lumière scintillante reflète et illumine le royaume de ses insomnies.

Film director Apichatpong Weerasethakul - Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2010 for his film “Uncle Boonmee, Who Can Recall His Past Lives” - joins the 3e Scène with his new work, “Blue”, filmed during 12 nights in the heart of the Thai forest. A woman lies awake at night. Nearby, a set of theatre backdrops unspools itself, unveiling two alternate landscapes. Upon the woman’s blue sheet, a flicker of light reflects and illuminates her realm of insomnia.

Esta obra de อภิชาติพงศ์ วีระเศรษฐกุล (Apichatpong Weerasethakul) es una cumbre del cortometraje: poesía en su estado puro.
De una manera muy original se coloca en el linaje artístico de Андрей Арсеньевич Тарковский (Andréi Tarkovski), Bill Viola y Francisco López.
