These girls have so much fun together, the chemistry is right there!! They catch all our attention: an interview of almost half an hour flashed a minute, just like in the film. Lea is subtle, confident, in control of her body language and speak, while Adele is soo carefree, wild body language, feminine and tomboyish at the same time.... And both so funny! Love these girls!

This interview really helped me. I watched the movie a week ago and ever since I have felt so much sadness and depression because how the movie ended. I wanted so badly for Emma and Adele to end up together, and I'm sure everyone else did too! To see these two absolutely gorgeous women together, laughing, smiling and being such good friends bring a huge smile to my face. This movie was definitely my favorite movie..and Lea is definitely my new lady crush ;)

By the way, this women feel for each other, you see that by observing them..adele is in love with this other woman for sure Look in her behaviour during this interview and you shall see....I keep on thinking that the co actrice of Adele (forgot her name) is playing herself..a bit. But maybe I m wrong...
They didn't want to talk about the political aspect of homosexuality, but the irony is that it is in a sense homophobia that ruined their relationship. Adele was not comfortable with her sexuality and was actually deep down embarrassed to be a lesbian. This ruined their relationship because although she was happy and in love, she couldn't get over her need to prove to others that she wasn't a homosexual. The nuances of a lesbian relationship and of a blooming teenage lesbian identity is what makes the story unique, otherwise it's like any other straight story and hence boring because it's the same story as any other.

Their break up scene got me right in the feels. Holy shit. Ive never watched a movie like this one. Everything about it was so raw. These two young women did an amazing job playing their roles. They are both so beautiful. really really really recommend this movie.

I can’t believe I’ve only just finished this film for the first time. After the end I needed more so coming straight from the film to seeing this video is so fascinating. Completely obsessed with their talent and how unique the movie was. I have never craved for a sequel so much.
Love them. They are so candid in their response, considering each question carefully, especially Léa. As non native English speakers, they are trying their best to express themselves as accurately as they can, adding expressions and body language too. Adèle is so eager to put her thoughts across and Léa is so sweet, stopping and letting Adèle speak. They also have good rapport, finishing each other's sentences. This is actually the best interview. More important than their accent is their maturity. Regarding the shooting process, theme of the movie and the possible effects on real-life issues and the film industry.
It must be so hard for them to express themselves in English, please consider that they have to talk about complex topics such as emotions and filming process. It's very hard to speak a Germanic language (English, German and Scandinavian languages) when your native language is a Romance language (French, Italian, Spanish etc.) and vice versa. Please keep that in mind when you comment about their language skills and think about how many languages you're able to express yourselves with.
But Germanic languages are so much better. ;) I get it though. It's hard for me to grasp Italian, French and Spanish but German I have a pretty good handle on. Easier cadences and rules, I guess.
Max Stirner I'm glad someone likes them, most people I know prefer Romance languages :) Same here, I've been learning French for longer than English, but I'm way better at the latter. Not necessarily easier, but since the rules are more similar to your language, it is subjectively easier for you to grasp them.
I just thought the same thing. I speak English, Spanish and some French, but there are still some nuances that I miss. That's not important. What matters is that they are trying to explain themselves as best as they can.
weirdforces A lot of European countries can speak English better then I can and yes it’s embarrassing I know a tiny bit of French and a few German words but I have the upmost respect for these ladies the rest of Europe put us English to shame in terms of being multilingual
Wow....European Actors really play the part, they really make you believe what they're portraying in the Film; excellent actors; American films are way behind European Films.
I totally agree! I think that the main reason why european movies are so great is because they're so much more honest and real, which has a lot to do with the acting. I've got to say though, that within european cinema France is definitely wayyyyyy better than the rest of Europe.
Jaime Arévalo It's just plain silly to claim "Americn movies are better than European" or the other way around. To start with, "European"... that's not a country, I hope we all agree? You're lumping together Italian, Swedish, Serbian, Scottish, French films and pretend to compare all of them to all movies made in the US.... Come on. Nationality doesn't matter, the art of cinema matters.
This is their best press interview, from Adèle's song about her socks, to Léa confusing the word cheat for shit. Anglo actors would never get so loose with a videotaped interview. Its amazing.
I can see their chemistry - they're very comfortable with each other. They laugh at the same things. And I love listening to them at this stage of their English speaking skills, and the fact that they speak English at about the same level.... it's adorable. And as someone who has studied French for years but never had the opportunity to become fully fluent, I feel like I am just on the other side of that. It's delightful. Their personalities appear to be similar to their characters, at least in terms of the relationship between them. I wonder if that is really the case? Lea seems more extroverted and Adele more introverted. Anyway... Adele is so sexy. It's funny because I didn't really think that in the film. I loved the movie, but the character never smiled and seemed very shy, confused, and introverted. And reminded me of myself! But when she smiles and when she speaks naturally, it is so sexy.
This whole interview is worth the watch! Had me laughing so much I love both their personalities! 11:40 was hilarious and then 12:13 Ah gosh I love them.
I'm so surprised by all the comments referring to Adèle being high on drugs or even drunk. It's obvious that her sleepy/mellow/delirious behavior is simply due to being exhausted from all the traveling and back-to-back interviews that promoting an award-winning movie requires. In fact, both Adèle and Léa refer to Adèle being tired THREE times in the video, if you pay close attention: 7:40 - After laughing uncontrollably Adèle says: "yeah, no I'm just tired, sorry." 7:41 - almost simultaneously Léa says: "yeah she's tired." 23:53 - After removing her mic at the end of the interview, Adèle says to her team: "*sigh* I'm SO tired..I've got the impression to say, like, bullshit."
All of you saying Its unprofessional, bad, stupid, and uneducated.. They literately just got off of the plane to do this interview, They were jet lagged, Lea can't speak much English so Adele was just helping her out with that. They had a translator on set of the interview to help both Adele and Lea. So it was the first of many interviews they were completely squashed with interviews Once the movie came out. Give them a break look at some recent like late 2013 early 2014 interviews. I feel like they are learning the English language. Saying they are bad at English is rude. I want you to go to France without knowing a bit of french and there you are now in their situation..
+ashley shell Totally agree. I'm shocked by all the judgements/comments about Adèle being unprofessional or high. I noticed her sleepy/delirious behavior too but I just figured right away that it was due to her being exhausted from all the traveling and back-to-back interviews that promoting an award-winning movie requires. Plus Adèle and Léa refer to Adèle being tired 3 times in the video! 7:40 - After laughing uncontrollably Adèle says: "yeah, no I'm just tired, sorry." 7:41 - almost simultaneously Léa says: "yeah she's tired." 23:53 - After removing her mic at the end of the interview, Adèle says to her team: "*sigh* I'm SO tired..I've got the impression to say, like, bullshit."
This is my favorite interview, idk why but I watch it like every week. Captures their personality and thoughts so well. And the interviewer had such a good receiving type of personality towards the interview :) 10 thumbs up
Of all the interviews I've watched about this film, this interviewer is easily the best one. They seem very at ease w/ him, and he lets them explain things and be themselves w/o projecting himself onto the conversation or being condescending. He even got a lil joke in about the cunnilingus scene
+Aaliyah Yrsale I thought i was the only one. That flim made me see how beautiful that woman is. That blue hair fit on her so well!! And I love seeing her without make up. Make up makes her look way older.
When Adele met Emma in the bar, Adele said that she was very fluent in English and could watch American films without subtitles while Emma said she barely knew English, but this seems quite the opposite in real life haha.
Lea is actually more fluent in English. She spend 6 years in the USA as a child (boarding school). That rich family made sure she can speak English atleast a little well.
I think its so impressive to see, what a confident and strong character adele exarchopolous is, while we know her as the shy person in blue is the warmest color. You may can have prejudices against her way of acting in this interview, but i think she is just very confident and satisfied with herself and thats ok. And i have to say, i just love lea seydoux. In my opinion, you can notice in this interview that she is a very smart and deep women.
I love the movie and I love their behavior in this interview. It makes me love them on a new and better level. I'm proud of their confidence in speaking. Wow
11:42 Everyone likes that part, it was funny but 17:48 did it for me 😂😂😂. The upwards spit gesture Adele did there had me in stitches lmao. Great dinamic from the host too haha
Saw it yesterday night: I was blown away by the explosion of senses. Woke up this morning in a state of bliss. Never mind the sex scenes. Who cares. I'm not lesbian. My flaw? I've been a screenwriter for years and can't stand watching movies anymore because most are insufferable (I just know too much and I know it is NOT easy to create something of quality). I watched this movie in a small cinema repertoire in Palo Alto California (the only available place). This one made me remember why I fell in love with the cinema medium in the first place. Definitely worth watching: it is a simple story - a coming of age - but portrayed in a subtle complex 'reality' with an exploration and beautiful exposition of every senses.
I had mad fun watching this Interview session. Adele is so natural and the fact that there's still a connection between this two in reality not just the movie. Lea is a bit shy but I adore her still
omg I love this interview. Adele & I have the excatly same mindset, how we would describe things and humor.... & you could CLEARLY see she looked tired af, when I'm tired I act THE EXCATLY SAME WAY. I just love this about her. I really love her attitude. and Lea is such a sweetheart lol, she seems so nice! & she is so much beautiful in real life than in the movie. I feel like in real life adele is the dominant one, not lea even tho they had swapped role in the movie! great acting!
i love that french, and basically all non-americans learn english and then we have americans making fun of our "bad english" when they ONLY speak their language......sweaty
I love them talking English with a cute french accent, and again this girl adele is suprising me with this lower voice of her. And i like her talking french sometimes :p lol
Léa speaks very good English, like she was taught from a young age, and Adele sounds like she learned later in life. Her Franglish is adorable, her occasional murmuring in French to Léa is so damn cute
I love french films because there is just raw emotion and no excess frilly stuff. Just deep connections and it's beautiful

Please keep that in mind when you comment about their language skills and think about how many languages you're able to express yourselves with.
But Germanic languages are so much better. ;)
I get it though. It's hard for me to grasp Italian, French and Spanish but German I have a pretty good handle on. Easier cadences and rules, I guess.
Max Stirner I'm glad someone likes them, most people I know prefer Romance languages :)
Same here, I've been learning French for longer than English, but I'm way better at the latter. Not necessarily easier, but since the rules are more similar to your language, it is subjectively easier for you to grasp them.
But German is related to Latin
I just thought the same thing. I speak English, Spanish and some French, but there are still some nuances that I miss. That's not important. What matters is that they are trying to explain themselves as best as they can.
weirdforces A lot of European countries can speak English better then I can and yes it’s embarrassing I know a tiny bit of French and a few German words but I have the upmost respect for these ladies the rest of Europe put us English to shame in terms of being multilingual
11:48 you shit on me hahahahahaha i´m still laughing
Hahaha yes she is french so it is okay :))
Yeah it is😊
Whose still watching this 2019?

Still its 2020 HAHAHAH
Wow....European Actors really play the part, they really make you believe what they're portraying in the Film; excellent actors; American films are way behind European Films.
All of my favourite movies happen to be European, so I agree!
I totally agree! I think that the main reason why european movies are so great is because they're so much more honest and real, which has a lot to do with the acting. I've got to say though, that within european cinema France is definitely wayyyyyy better than the rest of Europe.
Hummm, I think you don't know much about cinema history then ;-) Even if there are many many great american movies of course.
I really disagree, american movies are better in most ways in my opinion
Jaime Arévalo It's just plain silly to claim "Americn movies are better than European" or the other way around. To start with, "European"... that's not a country, I hope we all agree? You're lumping together Italian, Swedish, Serbian, Scottish, French films and pretend to compare all of them to all movies made in the US.... Come on. Nationality doesn't matter, the art of cinema matters.
I love Adele. Perfect, perfect. I want her to be in so many films. I’ll never tire of her
This is their best press interview, from Adèle's song about her socks, to Léa confusing the word cheat for shit. Anglo actors would never get so loose with a videotaped interview. Its amazing.
i totally agree with you
you´re so into it... indeed
Uhhh what? Plenty of Anglo actors do interviews like this. Americans are obsessed with sucking up to Europeans 😂😂😂
To me, it sounds like Lea is a good bit more advanced in her English fluency than Adele is.
Io mi sono completamente innamorata di Emma è proprio il mio tipo
This whole interview is worth the watch! Had me laughing so much I love both their personalities! 11:40 was hilarious and then 12:13 Ah gosh I love them.
I'm so surprised by all the comments referring to Adèle being high on drugs or even drunk. It's obvious that her sleepy/mellow/delirious behavior is simply due to being exhausted from all the traveling and back-to-back interviews that promoting an award-winning movie requires.
In fact, both Adèle and Léa refer to Adèle being tired THREE times in the video, if you pay close attention:
7:40 - After laughing uncontrollably Adèle says: "yeah, no I'm just tired, sorry."
7:41 - almost simultaneously Léa says: "yeah she's tired."
23:53 - After removing her mic at the end of the interview, Adèle says to her team: "*sigh* I'm SO tired..I've got the impression to say, like, bullshit."
This girl is high on life what a beauty
Drunk??? She's just over tired, being real and silly.. people don't see...
She's so honest and down to earth.. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
@@jonwomack1682 YES!!!!!!!!
" he was like staring at me and that's how we met " :D
This is one of the best inteviews i've ever seen. so natural, fun and funny!! Léa and Adéle have such a amazing chemistry!
I watched another interview. I seems to me that it is Leas who can speak better English, not Adele.
lala
It's clear Lea is much more fluent in English than Adele is.
William Bitterwood Really? What video//
ashley shell Léa is the best of these two to English. She's just a Little bit shy, and let Adéle answer for them both :)
It's good to see these actors in a casual atmosphere, I am appreciating their talent on screen. I will definitely watch it.
This is my favorite interview, idk why but I watch it like every week. Captures their personality and thoughts so well. And the interviewer had such a good receiving type of personality towards the interview :) 10 thumbs up
One of the funniest and relaxt interviews I have ever seen - and enjoyed!
the chemistry between the two of them is amazing! it makes the film that much better i love them!
Of all the interviews I've watched about this film, this interviewer is easily the best one. They seem very at ease w/ him, and he lets them explain things and be themselves w/o projecting himself onto the conversation or being condescending. He even got a lil joke in about the cunnilingus scene
can't keep my eyes of lea she's so attractive, i miss her blue hair and her face with no make-up :*
+Aaliyah Yrsale I thought i was the only one. That flim made me see how beautiful that woman is. That blue hair fit on her so well!! And I love seeing her without make up. Make up makes her look way older.
yes, you right !! wish I had a GF like her hahaha
Adele is so beautiful😍Her natural beauty always captivates me❤.
11:47 Adèle does her famous, though rarely heard, Al Pacino impression!
As a side note: why is Léa dressed like a table at an Italian restaurant?
Loool
I love this movie, I hate how it ended though. It makes me cry. I wanted them to end up together. But the movie is amazing!
Was staring at Lea the whole time... Not even gonna lie.
love
Sania Akram me too
I love the movie and I love their behavior in this interview. It makes me love them on a new and better level. I'm proud of their confidence in speaking. Wow
Adele is awesome actress. Her part when they break up is so brilliant
I love watching this interview so ever
I had mad fun watching this Interview session. Adele is so natural and the fact that there's still a connection between this two in reality not just the movie. Lea is a bit shy but I adore her still
i'm a straight gal but i have a huge crush on Lea plus couldn't stop watching all her interviews... damnit man
Lea : "I met him in a cafe in Paris, he was like staring at me and.....that's how we met"
Lea's answers are priceless LOL
omg I love this interview.
Totally agree. I think Adele dominated because she can speak more English. Such beautiful and talented girls
I’m just so in love with these two actresses. The way this was filmed is amazing.
They are so beautiful! And I can't stop watching Adele, she is cool and has the best smile!
It's so cool to see how the two of them get along so well and Adele is hilarious ...
i love that french, and basically all non-americans learn english and then we have americans making fun of our "bad english" when they ONLY speak their language......sweaty
I love them talking English with a cute french accent, and again this girl adele is suprising me with this lower voice of her. And i like her talking french sometimes :p lol
***** huh? What do u mean? :p
***** it's okay, i just wanted to give my opinion too you know :)
totally agree :D
19:50 - 20:30 when you star contemplating your life in the middle of an interview
Hahahahaha this is so hilarious. Love the two
Léa speaks very good English, like she was taught from a young age, and Adele sounds like she learned later in life. Her Franglish is adorable, her occasional murmuring in French to Léa is so damn cute
"You Shit on me" (11:40) ASHUASHUASHUASHUASHUA 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great movie and outstanding performance by both of them!
Realmente me caen muy bien estas actrices las disfrute en esta pelicula y me gusta su forma de ser en la vida
These women are incredible actors....and this interview was so unaffected and real. Thank you for posting. What a film this was.
And honestly no show off no nonsence completely chilled out . Beautiful and real .
This is the best interview I find. The others...Well, doesn't matter anymore. Thanks for upload this!
Its a crime that this doesn't have english subtitles, but..Lovely couple, beautiful film. Love them both. Vive la France.
I love this duo... Adèle and Lèa are the love of my life
this sincere laugh throughout the whole video, i just love it cause i dont realy see this openness in interviews a lot
This the best video on youtube i love them both so so so so much
