You guys just witnessed a masterpiece of music by my favorite band of all time. Been listening to them since 1994, which is when there debut album dropped. Hope you guys listen to more of there music. Lit reaction btw.🤘🤘
it's the way jonathan sang in this live performance and it was very difficult to understand the lyrics without having read them. tha studio version you can listen to much more musical elements. anyway they are the pioneers of numetal the first that started this genre and it's a hell of genre korn static x linkni park slipknot pod coal chamber mudvayne. so much talent. i would reccomend freak on a leash rotting in vain and cold from korn
If only I was old enough to go to this song back in 1999 but I would of been 8 years old and what a show it was, in the early days of Korn Jonathan Davis used to play bagpipes on until 2010 I think and he's American but I think he loves the Scottish heritage 🖤🤘
Korn is my favorite band ever, so many good songs. Shoots and Ladders next please! Freak on a Leash is a classic, Falling away from Me, A.D.I.D.A S., Right Now (but I recommend the lyrics video, the music video is weird for this song, it distracting), Somebody Someone, Clown, just to name a few, just to get started. They're coming out with their 14th album in Feb, so they've got so many songs to choose from. I hope you react to more Korn, soon. Peace! ✌️ Edit: It's funny, I was scrolling your channel for more Korn reactions, then I realized this was your 1st time hearing Korn! So cool! Please do more Korn! They're so unique, they were basically an entirely new sound when they came out in 94, pioneered the genre Nu Metal. Hope you enjoy more of their music soon.
Listen to the album version, Jonathan Davis, singer, all members are American but he’s Scottish heritage, he sings that way on purpose, it’s how the song goes. Other songs live at Woodstock from KoRn are fine too, you’ll hear the difference. It’s just the way Blind is done.
If you were to ask Davis (lead singer) he will say this was their best performance ever. They poured their heart and souls in this performance and we reciprocated. The pit was even more amazing than this video makes it out to be. I suggest just reacting to this whole set....I would watch, and I'm sure many others would too.....also there is a video of this recorded on stage by a fan "curve feeler"posted it
I just watched the docu series. The wave was wiiiiiiild. Ive never seen anything like it. It was just the manifestation of sound. The ripple effect is something truly terrifying and magnificent to behold
Yes more Korn I strongly recommend not doing any of the videos they ruin the song by being edited and cut short fun to watch after maybe but for the true experience please just do audio/lyric videos better chance of not getting blocked too
So the ground at that show wasn’t flat which really made the crowd looking like a raging ocean. I was there and vividly remember my buddy and I noticing that. It was as much a visual experience as it was an auditory one.
Diving into the Nu-Metal genre....must get into korn more, one of the founding fathers of this genre. Rage against the Machine, Korn, Deftones...everyone else in the genre decided to...Follow the Leader ;)
Ok. I have checked out many of your reactions. And I am very picky who I sub too, I rarely sub. BUT. you did 2 things in first moments of song. #1. You said it's not about the words he says, it's about the vibe. I totally agree. Earlier today I watched a reaction where after they realized it was Japanese they spent 4 minutes seeking lyrics....FOR A METAL SONG. Totally unnecessary and they did not edit out their clicking around internet for many minutes. I left a comment telling them it's more about the music and the vibe. And then you said same thing here. Cool. #2. You noticed his Kilt. He actually plays bagpipes. He brings them out each concert for a song. Clicking "subscribe" now. Keep up the good work. If you want to explore Japanese metal, there are some really good All-female bands like Band Maid(check out "Onset". Live)and Hanabie(We Love Sweets). BUT you can watch the video where I was telling person lyrics don't matter. Amazing band you would be in for crazy crazy experience if you react to. Maximum the Hormone "Yoshu Fukushu"
You guys should try "Freak on a Leash" by Korn, or if you are new to metal and want to try live shows should definitely listen to "Pantera-Domination (Live in Moscow 1991)"
It's a shame that the festival as a whole that year was such a nightmare. 3 deaths, multiple sexual assaults, riots & looting etc. State troopers in full riot gear had to be called in! There's a pretty decent HBO documentary about it, which shows how things started going wrong from day 1. Its called 'Woodstock 99: Peace, Love & Rage' and I'm pretty sure has been uploaded onto UA-cam in its entirety.
It’s a video rip from Woodstock ‘99 then re uploaded to UA-cam and then replayed by you, in 2021,so that’s why the audio sucks. Could be better versions but not much.

He actually has scottish ancestry apparently
He still plays the bagpipes at every live show, saw them live in 2020, best show I have ever been to
i was 10 going on 11, and remember this being on pay per view wonder like “what the hell is going on and why do i want to be there”
He is from Bakersfield and went to Highland HS and they are known as The Scots which is there mascot. That might have something to do with it.
I have a photo of a 2yo that was there with his parents...that was the youngest I saw
i tried desperately to get tickets to this back in the day, wasn’t possible. the stories from that concert should have been made into a movie

They are my favorite band of all time as well. Jon's voice is unreal and soul piercing. Clown might be my favorite song by them or tearjerker.
He plays the bagpipes too.

Fieldy's bass just went right thru us
He's one of the best vocals in metal.
He is not even close to Corey Taylor lol come on now
You should watch Shoots and Ladders next. Bagpipes. You'll dig it.
Wait for it... ua-cam.com/video/NGhh_PprrsU/v-deo.html
Look ma, no cell phones in the crowd! The good ole days 😞!
You can check out Korn - Blind live at Rock AM Ring 2007 or Korn - Blind live at Rockingham NC 5/5/2012. Clear sound.
Yes more Korn I strongly recommend not doing any of the videos they ruin the song by being edited and cut short fun to watch after maybe but for the true experience please just do audio/lyric videos better chance of not getting blocked too
Korn "Daddy". Good luck
Dont t hink Daddy should be for their 2nd song. I honestly hate when people suggest daddy for their first or 2nd song.
Some of their songs have a Irish/Scottish sound and he's known for wearing kilts
I wish I could have gone to Woodstock 99 , I watched it on tv ,so many great sets, Korn,Limp Bizkit,ICP and others
He also plays the bagpipes
I think it's just your device's audio settings because it doesn't normally sound this muddy in the original video or on other reaction channels
i was in that wave and i wanted to die LOL. it was fun for about 1 minute and then it was hell.
So the ground at that show wasn’t flat which really made the crowd looking like a raging ocean. I was there and vividly remember my buddy and I noticing that. It was as much a visual experience as it was an auditory one.
It was such a great weekend tho
It IS LIVE! Live music is harder to get the mix right on a recording, you guys should probably know that though.

There really were about two years there when Korn ruled the world...
It's the video, been listening to them since day 1 best band ever. JD gets better with age. Check out best korn growls
Shoots and ladders bagpipes

Yes he is Scottish & he uses bagpipes on a bunch of songs
You need to cover Never Never by KORN
You guys should try "Freak on a Leash" by Korn, or if you are new to metal and want to try live shows should definitely listen to "Pantera-Domination (Live in Moscow 1991)"
I watched this live from Sweden. Alot of days with coffe and no sleep.
See Rock am Ring 2007
I was 24 when we went to this…..amazing until it go out of hand
The vocals sounding that way wasn't the singers fault it was just the volume of his mic in the video
No you clicked the best live version!!!!! Just do the studio video.
Yo kids this is a subject that you wouldn't never ever get in school we are legends..
So amazing concert ever
