      Thank you so much.... it took me so long to post the video because I kept tweaking it... I should have trimmed it a little more (the rim tape part is way too long). I appreciate the "like".

    Nice build 😎🍻👍🏼 I felt that same rush vibe, when I was upgrading my MTB before my wife got home, so she wouldn’t notice it 🤣.

      🤣 Sounds like you understand all too well... you may notice that my clothes change about 20 times during the build... trying to squeeze in time to work on the bike whenever I can. After work, before dinner.

    I waiting to see which PNW post you got. I put the Coast suspension post on my hardtail. As Sam Pilgrim would say; it’s the dream. It’s not perfect, but almost as cool as the dropper it’s self. There was this street where I couldn’t sit at all. Had to hover over the saddle the whole way. Now i can sit mostly and save my legs. You can get a little bit of rest,( I’m old as dirt), on the trails going down, like where’s low frequency, tight rollers, some compressions that put your butt in the seat, this thing really helps. If there’s a downside to the slop on axis, I don’t notice it. Maybe it’s nice it turns a little with you....? Ok on with the build...

    • @stevenreyes3680
      @stevenreyes3680 Рік тому +1

      Boy do I feel stupid. I read the box wrong or there’s a different name for the internal post. I’ve got to get a lever like yours.

    • @DuanegerZone
      @DuanegerZone  Рік тому +1

      @stevenreyes3680 Hey Steven, The dropper post I got was the PNW Rainier. It was more of a budget dropper post but it has been fantastic! The Purple dropper lever that I got was from Funn... I purchased it off of Amazon... It's a great lever, but do not over-torque the bolt on the bottom or you could strip it.... I realized that in my build and the review, I didn't really go over the components too much... I will film a short follow-up video going over the components I chose and post it soon.

      Thanks.... I'm going to post a components breakdown, and talk about the components I chose for the build... but I need to clean the filthy thing first... it's caked in mud!

    • @h2beezy2
      @h2beezy2 11 місяців тому +1

      @@DuanegerZone So you basically only bought the frame and everything else you customized? Did you save money doing that compared to buying a similarly specced fully equipped bike out of the shop? I'd like to do that but unfortunately I don't have the tools or knowhow :(

    • @DuanegerZone
      @DuanegerZone  11 місяців тому

      @h2beezy2 Generally, when you build the bike yourself, you will pay more for the same components... But if you're patient (and you do some bargain hunting), you can get good deals and save some money... My fork was $300 off of MSRP. My saddle I took off of my santa cruz... the Sram Code brakes were off of my Evil Wreckoning (which is why they're all scuffed up in the build). The rims, I got from chain reaction cycle for a huge discount. The spokes and pedals are cheap Amazon purchases. All in all, I paid less for the bike than if I would have bought a complete bike... but that usually isn't the case.

    Great build brother! What kind of rotor did you use?

    • @DuanegerZone
      @DuanegerZone  Рік тому

      I'll be honest... I went super budget (ie: cheap) on the rotors. I picked up a 2-pack of Dymoece 6-bolt rotors from Amazon for $12.95 for the pair... I was a little worried that they were crap... but after over 100 miles paired with my Sram Codes, they pack plenty of stopping power!

    is it 140mm travel ?

    • @DuanegerZone
      @DuanegerZone  7 місяців тому

      It's a 150mm Rockshox Lyrik Select... which is perfect for this frame... it feels like an Enduro Hardtail, if that makes any sense. I love this bike!

    where did you buy it from ?

    • @DuanegerZone
      @DuanegerZone  11 місяців тому +1

      I bought it from wiggle.com... from the UK. Now you can get them shipped from the US... but at the time it was $499 plus around $60 shipping from Wiggle.com, whereas the US was selling for $699...CRAZY! I bought a 2019 Nukeproof Scout frame from Chain Reaction Cycle (also from the UK) for $299 with free shipping!!! Man, I miss those prices!
