Way of Wade 808 3 / Ultra Tech Breakdown

Last year, the 808 2s kicked off a resurgence of shoes using Drop-in midsoles, a habit thought lost to the Kobe line years ago. While the change was welcome, the design was clunky and didn’t quite bring the Kobe-like playstyle us consumers were seeking.
The 808 3s I think not only solve this with incredibly sleek design, but they also play light without sacrificing support or stability and improve on many aspects. As is the case with most asian branded shoes, these are safe to take outdoors.
I’d argue that the regular version is slightly more comfortable in the upper materials than the ultra version, but I haven’t taken the regular version out to the hardwood yet. Look out for a more in-depth dunker review for both shoes!
