Copped them for a little less than 70$ here in the Philippines and i must say value/price per performance, the regular is tied with the wow 10 at the 1 spot in my rotation. It’s to improve court feel and flexibility - I’m personally in your camp though- I like a solid setup- that being said you can’t deny the performance of these - drop ins , imo, have to be done just right to compete w standard lasts

I never swap drop-ins - the shape is so 1-1 that it would probably just feel like wearing a left shoe on your right foot- If they hurt, they hurt- no idea if a break in will help but sounds like a mismatch
I typicaly play with an orthotic insole. I have come custom to the fit ,feel, and stability they bring since I have extream flat feet and over pronation. I had the GT cut 1 and 2 and it felt ok but didn't feel as confident as I would with an insole. WOuld you recommend these WOW 8083 and also the JB1 for someone with extremely flat feet and OP issues?
If you have a wider foot I recommend going up 1/2 inch but they still feel great just a little tight. I bought these for volleyball looking forward to my next game

@footdoctorzach I always have to use a custom made insole and low top shoe. ATM I use the giannis immortality 3 and took out the original insole. Do I understand you correctly, that drop in insoles stay in the shoe and I put my orthotic on top of it? Or do replace it? Is a drop-in shoe better for custom made orthotics?

I am a guard/forward, and want something that will have lots of lateral stability because I am fast and shifty, and so I don't roll my ankle again, but I also am a jumper so I want something that will aid to me jumping higher, and better. from my understanding the fission 8 would be a better shoe for jumping, and the 808 has better grip. at the same price, I don't know which one I should choose. some people have the fision 8 as better, and some people have the 808 as better.

I believe you mean Wade Fission 8, as they are great outdoor shoes, but are rated a 90% compared to Cosmic Unities 100% outdoor on Hoops Geek Shoes. Not to mention the style of the Cosmic Unities are better for casual wear. CU3s are a great casual shoe that you are able to play outdoor pick up games in.
