I went .5 a size up. Hope it’s enough. I wear some Nike basketball socks that are thick. We’ll see. I got the triple white. The courts I play on are always dusty lol
.5 atleast because these are fitted and somewhat hard to slide into unless have really narrow foot but still going to be fitted so .5 to 1 size up is general guidelines for most people 👌👌
I got them to play volley, love traction and ankle support but they rubbed skin on ankles till blood, anyone have tips how to avoid it? I had to loosen laces and pull tounge out which than decreases ankle support. Thanks
@joannajurkiewicz1659 Can double sock if it's going to add extra cushioning and help the skin not feel the ankle lockdown. Or just wear longer socks but fold them down so you have a double layer up top. If you feel comfortable with it, you can cut a piece of material off the upper part of the shoe so that extra material is not bothering you. If the area that is bothering you is much lower, their might not be a fix since the lockdown of these shoes is pretty fitted.
@1keck596 I wouldn't say I feel super bouncy in them, but good protection as long as you're jumping controlled. Love the ankle support and traction is top tier so you feel very confident when jumping with speed and some power. These will be solid unless you are a really high flyer similar to Ja Morant's play style, then you're going to want a bit more cushioning. But for everyone else, they going to be A+. I try 360s or up and unders faking guys out up in the air and they are way more than enough for me; but I'm not jumping over people. Hope this helps 👍👍
Yo, Im in between these and the wow 10s but I think Im going with these due to the price. I am somewhat of a small forward, and need a shoe that can support constant hard running and jumping. Ive tried on many shoes and I keep experiencing heel slip. Because of this, I have been searching for a lockdown high top. Would you reccomend these? And btw, my foot measures a size 10 normally but in most shoes like lebrons I go half size up so do i go with a 10.5
These are fantastic for heel slippage, the containment is so nice. Great for everything as long as you are landing controlled and you feel fast in them. Get 10.5 in sizing. I know you'll love them! I prefer these over the WOW10. Enjoy Brother.
@Nathaniel_Reeds Yes they are solid for a power foward, super grippy too and great ankle lockdown; pretty much entire foot lockdown is really good. I'm wide footer I went up a 1/2 size and it fits close to a glove but can be a drag to put on sometimes. If you want to put it on easier can go a full size up or else every time you will have to undo many laces and pull the tongue back to get into it. It will still work good because I don't see the lockdown suffering too much. For sizing a 1/2 size up for sure for wide footer (snug fit) but can go 1 full size up for (for easier on). Hope this helps and don't forget to sub Broskis 👍👍
It's fantastic, the shoe wraps around your ankle similar to wearing wraps, a very secure feeling. The heel clip in the back is also a nice size for stability, I like seeing that in shoes. Plus, the interior padding is very conformable. Feel free to ask any other questions, enjoy Broskis
It will work, I went 1/2 size up because I'm also wide footed but would have been easier to get into the shoe going a full size up, because unlacing everything all the way everytime is tedious. If it is slightly oversized, can just double sock 👍👍
Would have loved to help you out Broski but unfortunately I do not own the Wow 10. I passed up on the Wow 10 because I loved the 808 3 Ultra V2 looks much more, just personal preference. These feel so good, I recommend if you like the style.
Go with the same size, I went with my usual size for these and they fit perfect. It's going to be fitted for performance yet comfortable. Guideline: Regular or narrow footed players can go true to size. Only if you are wide footed, I would say go a 1/2 size up for sure. Lastly, for EXTRA wide footed players go a full size up, it will give more room. The middle of the shoe is somewhat narrow, so you will definitely need the extra space to be able to get into it. Hope this helps 👍👍
Yes, you feel fast in it, very responsive in the front when you step, also great traction. The shoe moves very well with your foot, doesn't feel like it's sliding up or down in the ankle/heel area. Plus, cushioning is very supportive for a guard, more than enough. Hope this helps 👍 and feel free to ask any questions
The carbon fiber underneath the foot compresses when you step and expands back to its original shape when taking off the ground so it gives you a little bit of a launch, helps you jump a bit higher and step a bit faster, that's the idea of it 👍👍
I couldn't find an official date online, but I always keep the V2 version on my radar and constantly check for it. This one came out at the end of December of 2023 since I ordered it January 1st 2024. Hope this helps 👍
For a long slender center, yes without a doubt it can work nicely. For a heavier type of player, maybe. I say maybe because sometimes heavier centers like extra cushioning. It's all preference with this one. The cushioning is nice but it is not heavy padded like some LeBrons. Think about what you like and how you will feel most comfortable with. More padding under your foot can feel more plush but not be as responsive. With less padding can feel closer to the ground, more responsive but wont be as soft for jumping. It can definitely work but will depend what you going for and what you're comfortable with. Lastly, the looks are really nice and has great ankle support, all 10/10. Good for outdoors. It's just the cushioning, it's up to you to decide. Hope this helps! 👍👍
@SaranGamin101 I really like the Adizero Select for a center and for outdoors. Not to be confused with the Adizero Select 2.0, which is completely different. The previous model just the Adizero Select is so good, especially for jumping. Can land anywhere: in the front, middle, and heel of the shoe. So comfortable, has great ankle lock down, and very breathable too. Has a nice amount of foam underneath your foot. The bottom traction is hard enough and has a herringbone pattern that grips solid. Plus, since the newer model the Adizero Select 2.0 which is more for guards just came out a little while ago, you should find the Adizero Select for a discounted price. I would buy it if I needed an outdoor shoe for a center.
@SaranGamin101 Adidas AE1 or Li-Ning Yushuai 18 Ultra (if you like a Li-Ning Option) - These two should have you covered. Nowadays, high tops do not come out as often for basketball, it's mainly mids or lows. It can be tricky finding the right shoe but it is also important to do the following: I suggest to strengthen your ankles by doing different exercises. Grow more muscle in your legs and do exercises that help you be more flexible for the lower portion of your body and feet/ankles. This will help you tremendously to be a strong and healthy center, it will minimize your injuries - big time key. The Nike Zoom GT Jump 2 is a good option too, but it's not the best for outdoors, in case you wanted a Nike option.
They look super slick 👍🏼
I love the looks and they are really comfortable to play in! Also thanks for stoping by!
