I own 1 and mine is a 2020 model so it comes standard with a quick shifter up and down..... and I'm amazed by the acceleration everyday i ride it. It's scary fast.
Subar i watch TMF for the most detailed, honest and extensive reviews and Baron Von Grumble for the laughs and the commutes to London. But yes, TMF is, in my opinion, the best reviewer in all of the UA-cam universe.
I'm actually surprised about how much I like the look of this bike. Sounds right up my street, IF I was in the market for a 1000cc sports bike. Sadly with no easy access to a track I just couldn't justify getting one as I do quite like having a license! Lovely bike and great review mind you.
If you want the bike to be a little more nimble, tune the suspension. They are, almost, never tuned properly at the factory for a specific rider. Also, change the levels in the mode. It will help a bit. Keep in mind the traction control is slightly counter intuitive, so change it several times to get the right settings for you and your riding style. Nice review, good detail. I'm waiting for the 1000R. Another week or two. Safe riding, rubber side down.
I love your description of the exhaust as a Euro 4 nightmare which is pretty much spot on.I own a GSXS1000f which is quick enough for me these days and would be interested to see a review on the bike from your good self mainly too see if you have the same problem with the throttle that most people seem to be having, personally I find it okay and a pretty fun bike to ride.
Suzuki brought it back with this bike. Id probably loose my license in the first week :) Really needs a fender eliminator (tail tidy) to clean it up and ditch the euro 4 can on day 1.
I last rode a 2015 model, I loved it, I have a feeling I'd love this new one as well, only problem is I'm a foot taller than you and weigh 145kg, so the bike looks kind of small with me on it.
Suzuki have actually been quite clever with the exhaust - it's so big because it contains the cat as well i.e. its very easy to quickly get rid of the cat and but a decent end can on, good review as ever TMF
The big joke is that I have never bothered removing a stock pipe, never felt the need. If the EU is behind exhausts like that and all/most manufacturers go down the same route, loads of people like me are going to feel compelled to remove the damn thing along with the CAT. Result? More "dirty" bikes and more motorcycle noise. A classic case of lawmakers not thinking through the unintended consequences of their laws.
History is littered with examples of the laws of unintended consequences making legislators look like the idiots they are. I don't tamper with exhausts, but even I would feel compelled to remove that monstrosity. A law designed to improve clean air and noise that makes rational people feel compelled to produce dirty air and more noise. Classic! And the bigger the legislator, the more stupid they are. Off topic I know, but the USA passed a law requiring all banks around the world to report US account holders back to the IRS on pain of closing down that bank if they did not. The result is that banks all over the world have closed the accounts of any US person and/or limited their access to services, so damaging that persons ability to live and work outside the USA, so damaging the US economy through damaging it's ability to export, and overseas Americans now renouncing citizenship at rates the US embassies cannot cope with. Does nobody in these jobs use their brain any more?! The main qualification for these idiots seems to be the inability to see beyond the end of your nose.
really agree was disappointed in the pictures but went to the launch day at suzuki and was actually surprised just what a good looking machine it is, hope it does well.
I took one of these out for a test ride last year. The guy in the dealership said keep it under 9000rpm as its still being run in. About 20 seconds later i was doing 150mph on a country road. Its a very quick bike
This with a Yoshimura exhaust, change of rear pads and a decent local dealer would be a good choice especially for anyone spending 95% of their time on the road and not track. Another good review.
Missender a question. If you were handed a key to a supernaked or superbike which would you take? What bike then would you choose from the option you picked?
Not entirely sure I understand the question - but naked bike would be the MT10SP, Sportsbike (tricky) - probably the 959 with a decent exhaust. Very closely followed by the Super Duke R and Yamaha R1....
I used to have a 2004 Gixxer 750 and absolutely loved it. I feel like 2004/5 were the golden years, since the styling really went downhill after then, and they added weight too. Everyone seems to agree Suzuki always make a really nice handling Gixxer with a great engine, but they can't get over the looks. Gotta admit, I'm not really a fan of that candy blue - would prefer a darker blue.
Thanks for riding this bike. Long anticipated. These litre super bikes as you say are all now serious machines and very difficult to choose between. Agreed the dash screen looks a bit busy and cluttered compared say to the Triumph Street Triple RS TFT screen, but again a completely different bike.
Great review as always, I especially enjoy the walk rounds. One point though, you say the fuel capacity is 16 litres the biggest you've come across on a sports bike like this, yet on the Yam R1 you said that the fuel capacity is 17 litres.
Loved the review and whilst I prefer the looks of the R1 the GSXR has had gleaming reports from all angles. Comes back to one of your previous videos about motorcycle price hikes. So glad to see that Suzuki have made a class leading Superbike at a reasonable price point. I mean, who would take a Blade at 15k (19k for the SP) over this at 13.5k? or for the same price you could have a second hand 2015 R1... As much as I love the looks and sound of the R1 it seems a no brainer for me. Other manufacturers need to take a leaf from Suzuki book on this... I just SO wish the paint scheme had that gorgeous metallic blue of the previous version, I'm far less keen on this brighter one. Great job TMF!
Ogre Doug I'm sorry you don't like it ogre. It's the first thing that sprung to mind and I've not seen it used before, even if it makes sense that others may have said the same. By the way, I'm not a kid and I don't need to do any "research" before expressing an opinion. Now go do something useful.
Mike Breen So you're a griwn dummy? You should do research you lazy fuck. Or at least use some common sense. If you haven't heard of euro 4 then you obviously don't ride
Nice review as always. PS simply because it's a bigger number!? Have to say it looks a bit dated compared to the Duc and R1, paint and rims are a bit marmite, just like the dash!?
You got a great channel i can only dream of getting anything near the amount of subs you got your'e an inspiration to us new Motovlloggers thanks for sharing with us.
Rode one a couple of weeks ago - great bike, agree with what you've said. Well beyond my humble talents. Apparently, it has a sub 10sec quarter mile.......impressive. Yep, exhaust does detract a little, but did sound rather good. One question: why were you in 4 gear doing 30 mph? I never had it out of 2nd lol. From 25mph (3000rpm) to 100mph (~10000rpm) - great power range. Brilliant bike. Another great video.
You have not been lacking for quality machines to review in the supersport category of late!! I'd agree with all your points you make in this review - and that exhaust, oh my. It's hideous! lol!
+TheMissendenFlyer loving these reviews. Would you consider doing a second hand Best Buy review like 2012 S1000rr, 2015 fireblade SP etc bikes that someone might buy if they didn't fancy new PCP options ?
+The Incredible Sulk Yes I would love to and have been considering doing so for some time, the issue mostly is how to get hold of the bikes to review....but watch this space!
only thing i can suggest is to blow up the image you included to full screen, instead of the top right. Would be nice to view these gorgeous thumbnails you do. Also still shocks me how little of a subscriber count you have for the quality of videos you do.
TheMissendenFlyer but i just dont get it, you upload a cracking video of the triumphs display and then chaseontwowheels does the same video and gets 100k plus views, baffles me
Hmmm, how disappointing...just checked, he currently has 687,000 subs and that video of his currently has approx 61,000 views so a sub/view ratio of 11.2. I currently have 28,500 subscribers and my views for that video currently are at 7,838 - so a sub/view ratio of 3.63......so if nothing else it shows my subscribers watch about 3 times more of my videos than his do.....so you lot are more loyal than his and that makes me feel better :0)
hi again, just to add u say comes in blue and black , but the one ive purchased is gloss red , and it looks stunning in doncaster showroom . i am well happy.
I couldn't help notice but when you started reviewing the bike when parked up you so much sound like a weather forecaster Hehehe good review buddy forecast sunny weather for every Sunday...
I noticed when you mentioned the vibration at low speed you was driving in 3rd gear and doing 23 miles could it be cus you are so slow for that gear, i mean did you try to pull the clutch to see if the vibration will go or shift to 2nd. great review by the way
Another cracking review as usual...I see what you mean about the LCD Display, for a start it keeps going blurry when the speed increases... :) A little surprised, after your comments in this video, that you prefer the R1? If money was a consideration (isn't it always?) which would you say is the best value for money? And given the choice of the two which would you spend your money on?
+Paul Lee No doubt that the GSXR is the best value for money of all the current crop of litre sports bikes....and don't get me wrong, I only marginally prefer the R1 overall, and that's down to looks mainly, a very personal preference....
Hey TMF Smashing video mate, wondering if you could assist with a decision I've been trying to make for months. GSXR-1000, Ducati Panigale 1299 or BMW 1000RR? In your opinion which do you prefer? Cheers and all the best.
I appreciate your videos and hope you keep doing them. Would you sell your Ducati to buy this bike? If not, why not? Suggestion: Please consider doing some low speed/parking lot/car park maneuvers with the bikes you get to review. I think how easy the bike is to maneuver in tight places is a factor worth considering for a rider, especially those who live in crowded metropolitan areas.
I did do some low speed handling in the car park!! ...and no I would have the Ducati over this - not because it is a better bike but because it looks gorgeous and has that certain specialness the GSXR doesn't have....
Walking the bike back is not what I had in mind. :) Something like doing a U-turn in a confined area of a car park... Like you I thought the exhaust on the GSXR looked terrible but the sound of the motor is impressive. So the Ducati has a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi the GSXR doesn't have, right?
+hypojames Nope, none, not on the road anyway! These things are super performant and red lining them in anything other than first would mean silly speeds. Thanks for watching all the same! All the best - TMF
I find testing bikes before their first oil change is not the best representation of a bike. For example bikes generally before their first oil change (especially the 4 pot sports bikes) have very poor engine braking due to the thin beak in oil. I have tried bikes that are not to my liking then had the chance to try one later on after it was broken in and they are a totally different ride.
Very difficult one - both excellent bikes - really comes down to what you like the looks of most, so maybe Fireblade for me, but it really is marginal....
As already mentioned, will you be reviewing the zx10r? Would be interesting to hear what you think is the best of the current 1 litre sports bikes. Thanks for the review
I thought I wanted a gixxer thou for so many years, test rode last year and nearly fell asleep. I am sure that this new build is improved, but I feel like Suzuki are now making safe bikes whilst Yamaha are taking chances and making fun machines.
I don't unterstand why every reviewer insists that the exhaust is no big deal because it is easy to change. Try finding a euro 4 compliant aftermarket exhaust without any power and torque losses - there is none, as has been proven by many tests now.
Thanks for the immediate reply. Unfortunately many manufacturers only publish performance graphs for euro 4 exhausts without DB Killer only - which renders them not street legal anymore. Tests with sound inserts by indepentent reviewers show massive negative performance impacts. See for example the magazine MO 6/18 - Screenshot here under post #2035 www.gsx-r1000.de/themen/gsxr-1000-modell-2017.27595/page-102
Man i would love to jump on that beast of a bike but unfortunately as a new rider i'd in a word 'die' haha few years with experience gained it may just happen:) Enjoyed review muchly TMF
Interesting the back brake is poor. Same on my vstrom thousand 2014. It's basically non existent and only good for holding the bike on a hill. Maybe Suzuki need to pay more attention to the back brake. Good review as ever
What a load of bollocks!! The K6 was the last “analogue” gixer. The K7 onwards had rider modes. The K6 didn’t have any electronic aids whatsoever. The 2017 onwards GSXR 1000 absolutely pisses all over the previous GSXR 1000’s, in every way. Better engine, with variable valve timing. It has a lot more power and torque. It has Showa BPF/BFF suspension, and ride-by-wire throttle. And you sit there posting a load of bollocks about “huge cost cutting”? Obviously you’re clueless.. I have a 2004 GSXR 1000 K4 and a 2018 GSXR 1000R L8R. The 2018 bike has the 2004 bike beaten EVERYWHERE!! As for your claimed 2016 GSXR 1000, that also has different modes. So that’s hardly the last “analogue” model. It’s the same as the K7 in that respect. But totally unlike the K6. Which could actually be called the last “analogue” model.
That big back pipe and headlight shape, put me off this bike not what I would choose if I was after a sports bike , nothing special , I’d have the bmw , or duke cheers Fleyer
Yet another bike which would excel on the track, but on the road would prove frustrating to me. I'm only human and as the performance is so accessable I'm not sure I could show the restraint needed, lol. I suppose if one is in the position to be able to own a stable of bikes this would probably be on the list. There are rumours of a new GS coming, if BMW keep the abilities of the current bike with perhaps a performance tweek or two, then that will be my next bike. Appreciate your reviews TMF as always. cheers tony
BMW will be very cagey about a GS replacement. They don't want to kill the Golden Goose...If there is a new GS coming, it'll still look like a GS and feel like a GS.. ! Too risky to make extensive changes to such a successful machine.
I own 1 and mine is a 2020 model so it comes standard with a quick shifter up and down..... and I'm amazed by the acceleration everyday i ride it. It's scary fast.
best British motovloger
You say the nicest things! :0)
LonDuc one of the best motovloggers in my opinion.
He's 100 % right my man, keep up the good work.
Subar i watch TMF for the most detailed, honest and extensive reviews and Baron Von Grumble for the laughs and the commutes to London. But yes, TMF is, in my opinion, the best reviewer in all of the UA-cam universe.
Smashing review as always.. So many bikes to choose from in this category but great to see Suzuki back in the game
Thank you Jay B...and agreed, real competition in this sector now....
there is something wrong with the dash, it seems to go blurry all the time :-D
I'm actually surprised about how much I like the look of this bike. Sounds right up my street, IF I was in the market for a 1000cc sports bike. Sadly with no easy access to a track I just couldn't justify getting one as I do quite like having a license! Lovely bike and great review mind you.
+YarekBalear Thank you, and I agree 100% all the best - TMF
Not sure why so many folk slag the standard can off in the comments ! who the hell buys a gixxer and leaves the standard can on ?? ...
Yeah exactly....or pretty much any bike for that matter!
probably the best motorcycle reviews on youtube ,keep them coming
Thank you for the kind words, much appreciated Robert....
If you want the bike to be a little more nimble, tune the suspension. They are, almost, never tuned properly at the factory for a specific rider. Also, change the levels in the mode. Ha ha ha. Yes.

Best try a KTM Super Adventure then! :0)
I would take a Japanese bike over a BMW any day.
Fair enough!
Limited perception.
Another excellent review, I do like the look of it but being a Yamaha man I prefer the R1. BTW ur riding at higher speeds is improving !
Thanks :0)
As usual another enjoyable & clear bike review.
Thank you Martin....
Suzuki have actually been quite clever with the exhaust - it's so big because it contains the cat as well i.e. its very easy to quickly get rid of the cat and but a decent end can on, good review as ever TMF
Aha, i didn't realise that Luke - thanks....

More "dirty" bikes and more motorcycle noise. A classic case of lawmakers not thinking through the unintended consequences of their laws.
Spot on...Suzuki know anyone worth their salt is gonna lose the standard system asap
Good point, classic example of legislation by people who have no idea of what they are legislating on
History is littered with examples of the laws of unintended consequences making legislators look like the idiots they are. I don't tamper with exhausts, but even I would feel compelled to remove that monstrosity. +D C yes the paint job in particular impressed me...

You're not wrong there!
This with a Yoshimura exhaust, change of rear pads and a decent local dealer would be a good choice especially for anyone spending 95% of their time on the road and not track. Another good review.
Agreed....good on track too though I reckon!
Thankyou sir for all the great reviews. Loving your channel. please keep them coming.
Cheers Chris - appreciated, good to know you're there...
Great review as usual man! Thanks for the upload
Thank you Alex - very kind of you to say so....
I mean which type of bikes do you like more supernakeds or supersports?

Yes I agree the Panigale and R1 certainly trump it on the looks front....
Amazing work Sir, thank you for all the great videos!
Thank you Karthik - great to have you along!
Thanks for riding this bike. Long anticipated. These litre super bikes as you say are all now serious machines and very difficult to choose between. Agreed the dash screen looks a bit busy and cluttered compared say to the Triumph Street Triple RS TFT screen, but again a completely different bike.
+Alex Morgan Yes I'd hate to put my money in the line for one, they are all such brilliant bikes...very difficult choice!
Great review TMF. Just mime bout 4 wks ago. Due for the 1k service, tail tidy, radiator guard and dubble bubble screen. Keep well and ride safe.
Great review as always, I especially enjoy the walk rounds. One point though, you say the fuel capacity is 16 litres the biggest you've come across on a sports bike like this, yet on the Yam R1 you said that the fuel capacity is 17 litres.
+poisonmans oops! Well spotted - sorry my error...
Yet again another great review. Would you have the suzuki over the s1000rr?
I think I probably would, the Suzuki is an amazing machine (as is the BMW) but I think it edges it on looks and certainly does on value for money....
As ever a crackin review and down to earth!Cant believe how bloody small it is compared to my mighty zx12r or even the fazer!
Indeed.....(and thanks)....
Thank you Waynee52......good to have you along!
Why does it have a dustbin attached on the right side?
See Luke Paul's comment!
Mike Breen this comment is getting old. How lazy are you kids these days, do some research
Ogre Doug I don't need to to do research to make a tongue in cheek criticism. Not very smart, are you?
Hi
I have a question.
The Gixxer is better than the Fireblade?
Better value for sure - both great bikes though, not sure you can say that one is better than the other......depends what you're after in a bike.
TheMissendenFlyer thanks you for your reply
No worries....
The gixxer is cheaper to repair than the Honda.
Another great review and one I had been looking forward to.
Cheers Bob....
Fabulous as always! Govnah!
+Road Buster Thank you chief ;0)
Really enjoyed the review now you need to test ride the zx-10r but be careful as the front starts to lift at 90 off the throttle
:0)
Be great to see a review of the 750
great review, just bought one pick it up next week, R model
Congratulations!
Nice review as always. PS simply because it's a bigger number!?
Have to say it looks a bit dated compared to the Duc and R1, paint and rims are a bit marmite, just like the dash!?
Agreed....
As per normal another great in-depth review. can you do a review on the Kawasaki sx1000 Tourer pretty please.
+David Birchall I'd love to David, currently though I have no access to Kawasaki bikes for review :0(
Hello! Nice video as always!
Between this model and the double R model, which one would you pick if you had to choose?
+David Zeus Chiang I can't get on with the looks of the RR and loved the Suzuki - so the big Gixxer would be my choice...
TheMissendenFlyer lol my current bike is the trusty MT-07 and may be considering to upgrade~ Choices here in Taiwan are limited and very expensive ~
maybe you can consider doing a super bike shoot out? since you are doing quite a fair bit of supersport reviews. I'll definitely watch it!!
That would be great but I've no way of getting my hands on several bikes at once.....
That is the bargain of the year! Nice bike nice review🤓
Well it's not exactly cheap, but it certainly is great value compared to the competition for sure...
Nice bike good review just hate the stock exhausts on the Suzuki's
Yeah, luckily it's easily dealt with....
You got a great channel i can only dream of getting anything near the amount of subs you got your'e an inspiration to us new Motovlloggers thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you :0)
Tnx for great video? How good is heat managment? My gsxr600 gets very very hot! Espetialy roundtown
Seemed pretty good - no issues - but then I do ride a Panigale!
Would love for you to do a gsxr600 review :) love your videos
Thanks! Will see what I can do!
@@TheMissendenFlyer thank you much appreciated
Rode one a couple of weeks ago - great bike, agree with what you've said. Well beyond my humble talents. Apparently, it has a sub 10sec quarter mile.......impressive. From 25mph (3000rpm) to 100mph (~10000rpm) - great power range. Brilliant bike. Another great video.
Wanted to see how compliant at low revs it was - and it is very forgiving (I guess due the torque in the engine)....great bike...and well spotted!
As you said in the vid, great torque from the engine and it handles it very well.
Great review I like this suzuki I'll try it out myself thanks once again tony
I think you'll like it!
Great review 👌
Thank you Cris - good to have you along!
Great review keep them coming 👍🏼
+Andrew Harvey Willco
You have not been lacking for quality machines to review in the supersport category of late!! I'd agree with all your points you make in this review - and that exhaust, oh my. It's hideous! lol!
+Scott Peterson Yes I've had a bit of a run on these of late haven't I - time to calm it down for a bit me thinks....

Another awesome review.
Thank you Vinay - very kind of you to say so...
So it can be done.....bike manufacturers can put fuel gauges on sports bikes. I've said it before and I'll say it again, great video 👍🏻
Indeed - thanks Dave....
ive just bought one, got a great partx on my old gsxr. and got 1500 quid off . will be ditching the exhaust for a yoshimura.
Nice one - congratulations!

In your opinion which do you prefer?
Cheers and all the best.
Well I'd have the Panigale - it has that certain something the others don't....(which is why I have a Panigale!)
Good reviews but any possibility of actually redlining the machines to test/show true performance?
+hypojames Nope, none, not on the road anyway! These things are super performant and red lining them in anything other than first would mean silly speeds. Thanks for watching all the same! All the best - TMF
I find testing bikes before their first oil change is not the best representation of a bike. For example bikes generally before their first oil change (especially the 4 pot sports bikes) have very poor engine braking due to the thin beak in oil. I have tried bikes that are not to my liking then had the chance to try one later on after it was broken in and they are a totally different ride.
+Richard Neal Yes very good point....
Exhaust can replace.. Why some people have to complain about it
yessss!!! good to see the GSXR back on top
Yes it is a brilliant bike and pretty good value given the company it keeps....
When you hit the like button and it says 420 after you hit it...... great review very informative and not reading off a danmed script.
Thank you Jared....
'The acceleration is noticeably quicker than...'.
Ha haa, suberb British understatement.
Throughout the entire ride you kept the traction control set to 5......You should have put it in 1 or 2 and then opened it up!
:0)
Which would you rather have for the street? This is or the Fireblade?
Very difficult one - both excellent bikes - really comes down to what you like the looks of most, so maybe Fireblade for me, but it really is marginal....
Will you review the ne fire blade sp?
I will if one becomes available to me :0)
" Just check if there is anyone behind me" ? .... No chance ! LOL Excellent review ta :o)
Do you have any dampening material around your microphone? I can hear a lot more of your breath going over the mic when you speak.
Sorry about that, mic was in a slightly different position to usual...
As already mentioned, will you be reviewing the zx10r? Would be interesting to hear what you think is the best of the current 1 litre sports bikes. Thanks for the review
Sadly I don't have access to any Kawasaki's to ride - I am working on it though....
Great review, tahanks 👌
why is speedo going blur, when you are going fast?
To stop me going prison!
Great review
Thank you Mark...
I thought I wanted a gixxer thou for so many years, test rode last year and nearly fell asleep. I am sure that this new build is improved, but I feel like Suzuki are now making safe bikes whilst Yamaha are taking chances and making fun machines.
...you should definitely give this one a go Andy, this is certainly as good as the other competition, if not better (certainly better value)...
Andy Parker Them safe 200 bhp superbikes lol said nobody ever.
great review!
Thank you! Cheers!
Rides at light speed with front wheel in the air and still stays calm as James Bond.
Great review! What's the chance you get hold of a Hayabusa for a review?!
+Sam Turner Pretty slim I would think :0(
Has it got cruise control?
Yes IIRC (this was a few days ago).....
I don't unterstand why every reviewer insists that the exhaust is no big deal because it is easy to change.
Try finding a euro 4 compliant aftermarket exhaust without any power and torque losses - there is none, as has been proven by many tests now.
Very good point - I hadn't realised that and ass/u/med they'd be two a penny for this bike....thanks for watching - TMF
Thanks for the immediate reply. Unfortunately many manufacturers only publish performance graphs for euro 4 exhausts without DB Killer only - which renders them not street legal anymore. Tests with sound inserts by indepentent reviewers show massive negative performance impacts.
See for example the magazine MO 6/18 - Screenshot here under post #2035

You should go to Scania to buy a smaller exhaust for it.
How does this stack up to the BMW s1000rr?
Much better value, arguably not quite as refined, just as fast if not faster IMO....
Would you chose the GSXR over your Duc 899?
Err, no - The Ducati has that special something about it....
Man i would love to jump on that beast of a bike but unfortunately as a new rider i'd in a word 'die' haha few years with experience gained it may just happen:) Enjoyed review muchly TMF
+youtubefan21 youtubefan21 Thank you - and I think you are very wise to wait....all the best - TMF
Interesting the back brake is poor. Same on my vstrom thousand 2014. It's basically non existent and only good for holding the bike on a hill. Maybe Suzuki need to pay more attention to the back brake. Good review as ever
Thanks Dan, I don't think it's a real issue, it's adequate, most bikes don't have great back brakes.....
How do you find the time to ride your own bikes??? :-0
+JLO Staff With difficulty! It helps being retired though ;0)
just watched the vid, correct me if im wrong but at 1.10 did a piece of wood fly up and hit you?
Looks like it - couldn't have been much weight to it though as I didn't notice at the time!
wanes82 was wondering if anyone else saw that
wanes82 well spotted.. just mafe me watch it back in slow mo.
Look like it hit the fairing !
I owned one of the last "analogue" gixer tho's (2016) and can see the huge cost cutting on the 2017 and on models. Such a shame really !
Damn bugs! They get splattered on the camera lens every time you open the throttle. XD
Tell me about it!
But the dash is not up to date.
My dream bike :(
now that was a cracking video TMF
Suzuki GSXR, simply the best. 💙💙
Great info about bike.. though I have 1 request that you try fixing the mic issue as it's like ur rubbing against it and you get slight distortion
Sorry Derek, it's the best I can do!
TheMissendenFlyer no probs it was worth the ask.. keep up the good work
Self restraint, or the lack of it: One reason why I'm still on a 675 triple.
+Robert S Exactly, and a reason why I love smaller capacity bikes...
at 1:10 something flew and hit the bike! Got me scared a bit there sheesh
+SuperadeDF Really? Will have to go and have another look...
That big back pipe and headlight shape, put me off this bike not what I would choose if I was after a sports bike , nothing special , I’d have the bmw , or duke cheers Fleyer
Where did you go for gentleman's school?
Hehe :0)
Gixxer awesome machine.. thanks. For the haters I think u all just lack of knowledge.
+zecky wd Thank you Zecky wd - there are haters?? ;0)
Yet another bike which would excel on the track, but on the road would prove frustrating to me. I'm only human and as the performance is so accessable I'm not sure I could show the restraint needed, lol.
I suppose if one is in the position to be able to own a stable of bikes this would probably be on the list.
There are rumours of a new GS coming, if BMW keep the abilities of the current bike with perhaps a performance tweek
or two, then that will be my next bike.
Appreciate your reviews TMF as always.
cheers
tony
Cheers Tony - 100% agree with you on all points!
BMW will be very cagey about a GS replacement. They don't want to kill the Golden Goose...If there is a new GS coming, it'll still look like a GS and feel like a GS.. ! Too risky to make extensive changes to such a successful machine.
