First 6 months they should only have alfalfa hay & alfalfa pellets. Oxbow has pellets for young buns. Anything else could upset their stomach and be fatal. After six months you can add to the diet. Hope this is helpful. ❤ Fig is adorable! Love the videos.

Hey, I love your videos about Fig!! I'm really sorry to give you unasked advice, but I heard that most rabbits prefere to have a mate because they get lonley being alone. So maybe it's something to think about. But anyway, I love the way you treat Fig and give him so much attention. You make me also want to have a rabbit🤭
The dropdown gate for the pen is not a good idea as Fig could get his nail or toe caught in a grate and rip it off. Recommend swapping it out for a piece of plexiglass or cover that piece by attaching a mat with zip ties, or have it open sideways. He also needs more hay in his litter box. Rabbits love to jump and build their own potty place and will eat around the place they go potty. Also, try to create something to allow him to climb up higher, rabbits are not afraid of height and love to climb. Great videos! I love to watch rabbit owners learn to make them a part of the family.

Hey, you should try giving your bunny more fresh food: it's healthier than the pellets. The best thing to do is to give him endives, cellerie stick and mache. Rabbits also love fruit such as apples and bananas, but don't give them huge chunks as they can cause digestive problems (because of the sugar). Contrary to what many people think, rabbits feed mainly on fresh food. Also, your bunny should always have food And by the way, rabbits must always have fresh food available, whether during the day or at night. Their digestive system must always be in motion:)I hope I've been able to help you.
Im so sad that Fig got taken away from his mum at such a young age :( he should have been with mum at least until 12 weeks and you really shouldn't give any greens before 6 months old. hope this helps
@@itslilycameron yeah for sure but also important to know what 'spoiling' a bunny truly is. Sometimes we think we know best but we don't. I'm not saying I do I'm trying to help because it's hard and alot of conflicting information out there x
What I recommended for bunnies is to wash them carefully to I don’t know how to wash them but you have to due to their butt’s getting all dirty. , lower his rear end into the lukewarm shampoo/water, and gentle lave the solution onto the soiled areas (DO NOT wet the bunny's entire body!) until they are clean. What I can think of is that if you have no idea what your bunny’s favorite fruit/leaf veggies are then try putting bowls of many type of fruits like strawberries, lettuce, cabbage(probably), apple slices, tiny bits of carrots, banana slices(or mashed bananas), or more etc, etc!

Hey, I feel like you might feed him too much vegetables and pellet. I used to give my boy that much and he had a tummy ache. Laying on the ground with him is VERY good and important, he also looked a bit stressed out while you were holding him. Overall I think you're doing very well as a first time bunny owner :)

Fig only eats Hay, Babies eat alfalfa hay, the adults eat normal hay, unlimited hay! Then an occasion treat of pellets or lettuce or a tiny bit of banana They clean themselves! Don’t bath them it can harm them 😊 Keep me updated on your bunny 🐰

8 weeks is standard, there’s worse things to be sad about than a baby rabbit going home to be spoiled and loved for the rest of its life
