This whole show turned out to be such a surprise. It is kind of generic fantasy anime at the beginning, but the longer you watch the more the characters actually grow and the world along with it. Let's also not forget that it got way darker than most animes are willing to go, such a great gem of a show

It's a great show but if you think danmachi is super dark compared to many anime you need to watch more outside of top 10 lists lol
@@slayerr4365 tbh I meant super dark compared to gotta it started. I should easily say it doesn't compare to jujutsu Kaizen or Tokyo ghoul for mature content and dark themes.
@@slayerr4365some animes are just pure dark and no heroic feats or great endings like Danmachi had, especially in the latest season. I was reading about an anime that was made and is super high up there in the popularity list that is just pure dark and when there is happiness/pleasure, it is just filled up with dark shit right after that and it desensitizes the viewer to bad things (not good)
While it suprised me with its continuities I still don’t believe Danmachi is all that. If generic is 6 on a scale to 10 then it merely jumped up to 7 maybe 7.5. And that’s already an outrageous implication considering to what I am going to compare it to. Danmachi could possibly still hang in the 6-7 region but hear me out first:
I think even BNHA managed better than that it started as a 7 due to its uniqueness, held that standard and got even better.
Danmachi is just lucky that it got a few more seasons than most. Animated shows are just advertisement for manga so logic implies that with more advertisment more people flock to the product.
Also I want to make it clear that I like every show I mention here but to be very frank when we are already comparing shows: It is not even better than Sword Art Online considering the fact that it works from the same template (game setting, mystical world and harem, ecchi scene and the same voice actor for the protagonist as well, bro had to make sure he doesn’t get copyrighted for voicing himself that’s why Bell sounds like he got kicked in the ballls)
If we take alicization into account it’s not even a comparison anymore how much better SAO is because it unfairly explores multiple settings including the real world. That just makes for a far more complicated story than danmachi even if most people will argue that SAO was clumsy in its execution and that’s already the best tone you can give for SAO. You already know what the real haters will say.
And one more thing I think everyone agrees that SAO first season is lowkey goated and I will not get into an argument with anyone that danmachi compares to that.
So to conclude, it was pretty surprising how the show evolved, yet not even in the grand scale of things but in its own weight class it didn't mean much. It just barely escaped being less than generic.
I would love to be fair and tell you some of the good points that danmachi does better than SAO but the overall conclusion would still stand for me and I already created a script here.

Es de los mejores animes, me gusta el desarrollo de bell, como pelea, lo que te hace sentir, desde la sensación de cuando le entrega el cuchillo de hestia y toca su espalda y el se le lanza a pelear contra el espalda plateada, esa escena es super epica, donde ellos se unieron para que bell sea fuerte, esa es de las que me emocionan mucho, la primera bell gritando que quiere ser mas fuerte luego de ser humillado por el hombre lobo y salir huyendo a querer ser mas fuerte
