You are inspirational : Always encouraging, always faithful and always joyful in whatever state you are in. Erin, I understand how painful Gossip is. I hope you will not mind if l share with you what l have learned. Gossip is very cruel. Nothing good comes from it. It is very destructive. It is sin. You need to take it in Pray. Give Him your sorrow, and ask Him for His peace. And He will provide all your needs in a day. Do not allow others to lower you to their level. Confrontation never works. Often confrontation only causes the problem to grow worse. Remember Erin, those who heard the gossip are very offended and are grieved, they will lose respect for the person who spreads the gossip and in time will defend you because they will have heard enough. Keep in mind, God does not answer any prayers of those who live in sin. Pray for those who sin against you! Your heart should be softened because Slanders are missing out! In my 60s, you inspire me in ways I can't explain. I have always believed but never followed I guess you can say. Reading the Bible that's another story, If there was a way to get past the parts where who was married to who, living hundreds of years. I get lost and give up. Now that I am alone kids are living in Florida, grandkids too. I have the time just get lost in it..but to the point you two are just the kind of couple whose love shines.

My husband and I are in our busy/tired stage of life with taking care of the littles and we find it hard to make time for our marriage and spend time with God. You both are an inspiration to me. I have triplet sons and a daughter. I homeschooled them since school age. My daughter is done with school and my sons are almost. Our life has been turned upside down in a very devastating, heartbreaking way. Our daughter left her whole family and even though she has been taught the Word of God her whole life she began a downward spiral when a guy came into her life and began telling her the way she was taught is wrong. We have not seen her for months and it has devastated our family. At one point living for Jesus was a desire for her and she would tell me that I was her best friend. Even though we have not been perfect parents we were always a close family and taught our children the Word of God. Because I know you both have a love for Jesus and God’s Word I am just asking for prayer for our daughter Haley and for our family. I know every word in the Bible is true and even though it is impossible for man it is not impossible for God. I believe their is a need for prayer for prodigal sons and daughters. It is such a devastation for a family. I didn’t really understand this until it happened to us.

My husband is now in heaven (due to cancer) and I don’t live in Florida any longer. (We were transferred to Arkansas with his job.) I understand how painful Gossip is. I hope you will not mind if l share with you what l have learned.
Gossip is very cruel. Nothing good comes from it. It is very destructive. It is sin. You need to take it in Pray. Give Him your sorrow, and ask Him for His peace. And He will provide all your needs in a day.
Do not allow others to lower you to their level.
Confrontation never works. Often confrontation only causes the problem to grow worse.
Remember Erin,
those who heard the gossip are very offended and are grieved, they will lose respect for the person who spreads the gossip and in time will defend you because they will have heard enough.
Keep in mind,
God does not answer any prayers of those who live in sin. Pray for those who sin against you! Your heart should be softened because Slanders are missing out! They do not have "the joy" you possess that comes from loving and obeying God!
That joy from within comes from above !
Let the Fruit of the Spirit be clearly seen !

In my 60s, you inspire me in ways I can't explain. I have always believed but never followed I guess you can say. Reading the Bible that's another story, If there was a way to get past the parts where who was married to who, living hundreds of years. I get lost and give up. Now that I am alone kids are living in Florida, grandkids too. I have the time just get lost in it..but to the point you two are just the kind of couple whose love shines.

You both are an inspiration to me. I have triplet sons and a daughter. I homeschooled them since school age. My daughter is done with school and my sons are almost. Our life has been turned upside down in a very devastating, heartbreaking way. Our daughter left her whole family and even though she has been taught the Word of God her whole life she began a downward spiral when a guy came into her life and began telling her the way she was taught is wrong. We have not seen her for months and it has devastated our family. At one point living for Jesus was a desire for her and she would tell me that I was her best friend. Even though we have not been perfect parents we were always a close family and taught our children the Word of God. Because I know you both have a love for Jesus and God’s Word I am just asking for prayer for our daughter Haley and for our family. I know every word in the Bible is true and even though it is impossible for man it is not impossible for God. I believe their is a need for prayer for prodigal sons and daughters. It is such a devastation for a family. I didn’t really understand this until it happened to us.

I love what you said about being intentional, Chad. And you know, that’s needed all throughout the seasons of marriage. We’ve been married almost 39 years, kids are in their 30’s and we’re retired and because we are together all the time, it still requires intentionality to spend quality time beyond the shallow interactions of the day.

I was born in Florida, went to school there, married the love of my life there, and had our beautiful children there. We lived in Orlando 35 years ago and was about your ages when my husband and I decided to homeschool our children there. Florida holds the sweetest memories for me now.
My husband is now in heaven (due to cancer) and I don’t live in Florida any longer. (We were transferred to Arkansas with his job.) But I’m still a very blessed woman to have both of my grown children still living near me here.
I wish you the very best that Florida has to offer and I pray for many sweet memories to be built that you could look back on fondly too. ❤️
