- Chad's Grandfather was a Missionary Doctor who served in India and Africa for over 20 years. I got a chance to sit with him and ask questions and hear about his story, because I love to hear them all! His story and his legacy are so remarkable that we even named Carson (Charles) after him!
I think special moments like this with our family members is so important - We learn about the legacy they've built and hope to leave behind. I am thankful for this special time with Grandpa Paine because it is something my children will always be able to look back on and enjoy - I hope you'll enjoy it as well!

Grandpa Paine is not only interesting but has led a wonderfully interesting life. Chad and his siblings are so fortunate to have had this gentleman in their lives growing up.

What a wonderful gracious man. God has used Dr Paine to not only heal the body but the soul too. I could sit and listen to him talk all day. It’s hard to believe he is 90 years old. 😊🙏

Wow! What a testimony and a legacy he has left to the next generations! It was so interesting that he worked with Wesleyan World Missions, now Global Partners.
When he was telling the years and where he and his wife worked, I was thinking "I wonder if they knew....(such and such people)" I have attended a Wesleyan church
in Holland, MI since 1988, and it is still highly focused on missions. This video was so wonderful! Thank you for sharing this!
I really enjoyed this interview. I always loved it when missionaries came to the church and still do, to share their experiences. Some missionaries have suffered great persecution for sharing their faith. Others were an answer to a prayer for those who needed them. All missionaries did it out of a calling and a sacrifice financially to serve Our Lord and others.
I would love to ask Grandpa Paine of he ever worked with Mother Teresa in Calcutta who also served the leopards?
That was the most amazing story of life and growth and following GOD always.

I enjoy your videos very much but this one was extra special. As a young girl I was a part of a children’s ministry called YMWB. The teacher taught us about missionaries serving in foreign countries. Your Grandpa and Grandma were one of many who served. Later I also was a freshman in college with their daughter Beth. Then many years later my husband and I met Dr. and Mrs. Paine at Brooksville when Mrs. Paine was still living. You did a great job with his interview and what a testimony they have!! It was special to hear and many of the familiar names he mentioned were missionaries we heard about each week at YMWB.

What a treasure Grandpa is. He reminds me of our orthopedist who now is retired. He's had stories like this too, till he settled in my area. Hopefully, these stories are documented. I am sure he has 100's. He is still so knowledgable at his age. Chad and your family are so blessed to have him.

Grandpa Paine reminds me of my father who died at the age of 98. They have the same cadence in their speech and same hand motions as they speak.
