When I think of how I would build my dream car, this is what I see. Insanely clean, elegant and tasteful modifications, perfect colors, and brilliant drivetrain and mechanicals. Good lord, this is beautiful.
If I had something that nice, I'd be afraid to drive it. Definitely NOT something I would drive how I drive the stuff I build, like my 65 GTO. It was intended to be a daily driver, this Malibu could be that, but parking lots would be nightmares.

Do it right the 1st time for sure. The builder, I'm sure, communicates that to the buyer before a deal is even made to build. Quality takes time.
Such a wonderful car. It's one that you can drive 1000 miles and be comfortable. Yet it can also pull like a train and sound like thunder when need be without fuss. I do enjoy these subtle builds very much.
I was lucky enough to grow up with a dad that had dozens of old classics and hotrods. A few cars stood out and a 67 Malibu was a body that was top 5 for sure . What a great car.
What a Great Build! For most Southern Californians this is THE CAR they want to get into at 10pm or 4am and drive to Vegas in. It looks extremely comfortable for 4 adults and will do 90+ mph all day. This is a FANTASTIC ERA for Motorsport. Literally, the person with the coin and/or the skill set can build a Classic Muscle Car with a traditional engine config or a modern ECU Controlled Powerplant, a JDM, a stock 5.o, SS or SRT new off the lot or with a few years in then. They can all offer great performance, reliability, looks and safety. There's almost infinite wheels, brakes, intakes/exhausts, tunes, suspension, multimedia entertainment, refrigerators etc etc. Let's enjoy all the cars for what they are 👍😁👍

Search a beautiful car Steve is a top notch builder love how the chevelle is not over built just clean and able to just get out and cruise . An Shawn you are so right about shaking down small problems in the first couple hundred miles. I've built a 72 chevy Cheyenne c10 with a big block 454 bord 30 over with 10.5 compression full roller motor. 400 rebuilt trans with shift kit fresh 12 bolt posi 373 rear the truck is painted 🎨 red and white shortbed with all the factory trim and the paint is stunning that's the first thing people say who painted it it's got 20 inch wheels American racing salt flats nitto tires all new suspension with sway bars .it's got the deluxe interior black that is stunning as well I've got 658 miles on it and still doing some tinkering small shit like I had a brand new 850 cfm holley on it that I couldn't get to work right so I bought another one and as always some squeaks to fix and with headers and dual exhaust with Flowmasters it sounds incredible I watch and wait Patiently for your next video it's great that you actually go over the build because that gives me ideas once again bro thanks👍⛽️🛻

Love the color, the passion that have been brought in it! I am working on a 67 Chevelle Malibu my self. Imported it 3 years ago from Michigan to Holland Europe. Went body off, got a lot of welding done to it. Also got a frame embracement kit welded in. I hope I will have it back on the road within 2 years. That day will be awesome! It came with a blueprint 383 stroker, but already have an other engine for it in the future. Got lucky with that one, bought a BBC 427, it came from a 67” Corvette C2. Its difficult to make it all work from overseas €€€, but I will keep doing what I love and thats working on those American cars ❤️ V8 😎
When I was a teen I had a friend that had a 67 with a 396 and 4 speed. I watched him nail it to 60 mph in 1st gear with 3.55 gears. He never lost a race. He did eventually throw a rod.
It's a 67 Chevelle Malibu 136 VIN A Chevelle Super Sport is a 138 VIN They both are Chevelle I have both a 66 Chevelle Super Sport and a 66 Chevelle Malibu
The point is Malibu was purposely named. It’s not an SS. For example Pontiac Lemans is not a GTO, but people will rebadge the Lemans as a GTO. If have a Pontiac Formula not a TA. I can change it to look like a TA, but it’s a Formula. Be proud of what you got.

but its so much more under the skin.......modern brakes,modern but nostaligic instrumentation,600+ horsepower,tremec 5 speed,upgraded suspension,better stance etc at a far glance it looks like a 70s street machine and i also grew up in that era and loved them

The way that man builds a car is a sublime iideal that I strive for in my (very) ametuerish attempts to build my Harleys - Sleeper is an understatement.
