Great video, here’s my point on the issue In Peru, we have a very corrupt federation worse than CONMEBOL and the USA. Football in Peru is very very intense, and every year something crazy happens in the Liga 1. Last year in the final, fans were invading the pitch and throwing fireworks on the field, the game continued after 20 minutes. In Peru, they ask for ids, separate fans, and always have police in every corner of the stadium. It’s crazy to me to think that CONMEBOL has so many more resources than Peru, can’t maintain their own tournament because of their incompetence.
Along with FIFA having higher standards (a rarity), the Department of Homeland Security will likely require higher and better security standards at the World Cup Stadiums, similar to what they do for the Super Bowl. I think CONMEBOL just ignored everything and just wanted the money, because the 2016 Copa America in the US was fine, but CONMEBOL jointly hosted it with CONCACAF, and Miami didn't host any games that year either.
Hard Rock Stadium should sue Conmebol for damages, or if Conmebol ever wants to host another tournament in the US, they should be held to a higher standard. It's obvious they wanted to save as much money as possible
Disappointing that in Toronto we could have used this as an opportunity to permanently expand BMO to 50k, but decided to just do a temporary expansion to 45.
i actually went to the argentina vs peru (in hard rock) and it was awful. as an american, i can say this was awful. the parking was terrible, so was the security, and people jumped into merch booths, and food stands while security ran after them. people sat in the seats right behind me without tickets. disaster.

I'm sorry but this "the USA is big and that's why we don't have public transportation" is pure BS. If you don't count Alaska, Brazil is actually bigger than the US and we have public transportation in our cities (and between cities). And we had a World Cup too, and our stadiums had many ways to arrive by public transportation (in some of them public transportation was the *only* way you could get to the stadium, because that's another way that organizers can control crowds, because with public transportation you can control the number of busses and trains so that not so many people can arrive at once and you can know something like "we will get x amount of people per hour, so we need to plan for this")
It has transportation between its coastal cities. Not all of its cities. And USA has the same in many areas. It doesn’t take a genius to realize it’s not BA

Well fuck. The usa World Cup is about to have endless visits to the hospitals in 2 years.
They can’t even prevent normal gun crimes so this is bad😭
World Cup 1994 had already been played in crappy NFL stadiums. How could it be different this time. The final is in New Jersey. In a stadium without even a roof.
I only live 40 minutes away from the stadium that’s gonna hold 9 games😂😂
the scary truth is that uss will flop at the world cup
I hope not
@@NitroFootysame
I’m like 35mins away from MetLife
That’ll be 2 hours on the day of the World Cup final
[generic european footballfan slurs]
They should've renovating these stadium at a year before the Qatar World Cup since I'm pretty sure even at 2010 World Cup, the host for 2026 is already decided.
They’re renovating them for grass by 2026. There isn’t anything else they need to do.
"now, see, harry, when I said I wanted a football stadium... I didn't mean that" lol
Portugal will win and ronaldo gonna carry suii
We can take it to south africa we its safe
South africa had gotten worse in the past decade
Me to
You to
I kinda wanna go anyway to support my Germans
I don't even know why the US wants to host this thing. And with 48 teams!! Not worth the logistical mess!!!!
