    Very interesting. I had bought a SXT4 a few years ago when they came out. I used it once. I need to pull it out of my closet and update it for sure.

    Thank you. Just in time for me to install my gage! This is so confusing to find online.

    Never thought to ask this before but when you drive, does the supercharger whine at lot?

    • @bpbuilds
      @bpbuilds  7 місяців тому

      There’s multiple shots of the car running with the supercharger in various videos on the channel.
      Yes the silencing ports are tig welded closed. And it whines pretty good.

      Nice, also what alloy of aluminum did you go for, I just got the edelbrock intake and don’t know much about metals for the adapter plate.

    • @bpbuilds
      @bpbuilds  7 місяців тому

      @@ConnorHuet the adapter plates are 6061. But I wouldn’t be too concerned with that.
      Do you have AC TIG welding ability?

    • @ConnorHuet
      @ConnorHuet 7 місяців тому

      Thanks for the info! I do not have a tig welder but I could get access to one if absolutely needed. My plan is to cnc it and not have to do any welding, there is a drift guy that did exactly what I want to do on a 2jz with an m90. Thanks for answering my questions greatly appreciate it. One more: can you run your boost gauge off of the idle vacuum valve, always wondered how that gets boost since I thought boost was made after that valve. Thanks and great video!

      @@ConnorHuet the boost gauge is ran to a fitting between the supercharger outlet and cylinder heads. So somewhere in the lower intake manifold. I installed one using an 1/8” NPT barb fitting.
      The fuel pressure sensor must also T into this line so it sees boost as well

    I've done everything you show in the video but my analog input 8 coming from my wide band is only reading the volts and not converting it to a/f reading? can you help?

    Ahh so the blue is the Serial TX and white is the analog positive? Sorry for the questions 😅

      The White from the AEM gauge is the linear 0-5VDC signal that the Fire wire cable is looking for.
      You said it’s hooked to red. That’s fine. You’d just use FireWire red. Not orange like I did.
      But I don’t think you’re hooked to ground properly. I don’t use any brown wire
      It’s a DC voltage being read. DC has 2 wires.
      That’s all that’s needed to read DC voltage.
      Blue is the RS 232 logic. From what I see on the AEM manual at a baud rate of 9600. Which is a common rate for a microcontroller. And serial communication.
      Brown is a negative signal. 0 to -5.
      I would hook your SCT cable black. To AEM blue. And re-test.

      @bpbuilds odd. What model AEM series do you have? I have the X series 30 and I tried the blue for a common and it shot up to 28 and as soon as I used the brown it shot back down to 12-14 like it's supposed to

      @@LYKOSCORPSE from your previous post. You have more wires hooked up than I do.
      Disconnect everything except:
      1. Red SCT wire that is connected to the white AEM.
      2. Black SCT wire to Blue AEM.
      Try that
