Appreciate the great video. I’d add a rear view mirror. Best safety tool for cycling. Visualizing what is coming from behind gives much more info than radar.
Lance, You might want to check out the AirPod Pros. Yes, they do have noise cancelling, but it's optional. They have three modes: noise cancelling, normal (or "off"), and "transparency". "Off" mode is just like the normal AirPods with no noise cancellation. Transparency mode goes beyond that and actively passes the ambient sound through the speakers. It''s designed specifically for things like cycling and running so you can listen to your tunes (or podcast or whatever) and still hear traffic and such. They also handle sweat and moisture A LOT better than the old models.
Thanks for the information, well done, much appreciated! I have and/or carry everything mention when riding regardless of road or gravel (two different bikes, two different needs). Headphones I use apple wired version low volume setting which works nicely, the bone conduction headphones I have not tried but have been thinking of doing so, lets see. Lastly I use Road ID app to allow my wife to know my status and if there's a long time of inactivity, she'll receive an alert automatically. Same via my 1030 unit should an accident occur.
Hey Elias! It was the Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire… it was a great watch, but I have since moved on the the Garmin Epix, which is also a phenomenal watch. Thanks for watching, and sorry for the delay!
