Do melhor que há, vídeo e som. Estou a desenvolver uma espécie de adicção (mas boa!) a este canal, do tipo "you can check out any time you want, but you can never leave". Nunca deixes de fazer este trabalho absolutamente fantástico. Obrigada e parabéns!
Yeah, it's incredible how full it can sound with only a guitar, bass and vocals... Just a really superb album! I've discovered so much great music from your channel - keep 'em coming! :D
After some initial disappointment with this Goldring because of sibilance issues and a gritty sound, i'm now very pleased with it. The stylus broke in after some more hours of use, and everything sounds more natural now. But the starting point is always a good recording and a decent vinyl pressing: You can't make an omelette with rotten eggs!
It just keeps sounding better! I might be picking up the new E3 cartridge soon, very impressed with the E1 and figure why not go straight to the top of the line?
I have the E3, but i never made a video with it! Very nice sound with good stereo separation. However It's made in Japan by audio-technica, not in the UK by Goldring. But sounds like a Goldring, with its typical thicker sound compared with the clean, thinner sound of the ATs. Apparentely the secret is in the stylus, because beneath the plastic housing you can see the body of an entry level audio-technica. I should make a video with it. 😋
Hi Rui: Never heard this woman before. Quite, balanced and beautiful, very nice arragments on every traditional song, specially in the blues: "If The Sea Was Whiskey" I think alcohol songs are not suitable for well educated Ladies. :P Nice Blues! Shout Sister Shout, it's a gospel, is catchy! As usual great sound and your trademark on picturing. You are the blur master Best!
Hi Raul, thank you! Actually, she knows what she's talking about because i read that Madeleine had some serious alcohol and drug problems in her youth. Well educated people also like to drink, you know? LOL Seriously, when she was very young she wandered in the streets of Paris as a street musician with her friends. I don't think she was a homeless or anything like that, but she was used to a bohemian life.
Hi, Well, I like the idea of Whisky Sea. he, he, he, he ;) So, she is the right person to talk about whisky :). Back in time, during teenage years, is very often on many people to find those stories about "Rebels Without a Cause" periods. During the 60-70's, in my country, to be leftist was tagged as rebel. In those time we were living under dictatorship but France is a Free Country, Maybe her behavior was under existentialism crisis. Really I don't know, I'm not Psychologist So, she must proud of this album, is a great job. Best
Nice sound - I'm starting to like that Goldring. Really deep bass out of that track and highs nice and smooth. Is it better recording settings than 'Roxanne' or maybe the cartridge had more time to break in?
Yeah, I'm enjoying the 1042 much more now, it had more time to break in, now sounds more natural and the sibilance is gone, unless it's on the disc. Having said that, this record sounds much better than that Police 45 rpm disc.
Rega P3 turntable with some modifications, Goldring G1042 cartridge, and iFi iPhono 2 preamp. And also the Tascam UH-7000 audio interface for making the digital audio recording.
@@MrVinylObsessive, hello i bought a RP3, but i'm not sure what cartridge to use. Maybe a Goldring 2100. What's your opinion on this subject. I have also a Yamaha 801.
This vinyl album and your vinyl gear are so perfectly matched.
Amazing. Confess i didn't know this singer. Loved it.
Também gosto! Tornei-me fã dela há pouco tempo.
Fine music. Sound quality of this vinyl recording is top notch.
Yes, they did a fine job!
I love this record. I have most of her vinyl. Sounds great.
Thanks Richard, i'm pleased you liked!
It's a very nice album indeed!
Ah, love these Hymns... Thanks for upload!
