I'm a non practising Hindu. I heard Gregorian chants for the first time in 2018. And since then, I've been listening to them everyday, bending on one knee. I imagine that I'm in one of those hauntingly beautiful churches of England, with high arches and breathtaking glass paintings and with a beam of sunlight coming from the top as if God Himself is blessing me

I was raised catholic, but now non-denomination. I love my Lord Yahshua (Jesus).
However, I listen to all worship music, but this Gregorian chant brings me literally to my knees, and emotional. Seems the old ancient worship is more realistic to life than the up church now.
The heart of the cave is a mountain. And the obstacle is always a path. And friendship is always a spiritual bath. I love you whoever is this you need to know that I love you another human being have the awareness enough to put this message here so that when you were reading it I knew you were loved

This music helps me to stay clean after a 23 year drug addiction. This is so powerfull and gives my mind the ease to fight this disease

I can still remember that time in Assisi, when I entered the Basilica and there were Franciscan friars chanting Gregorian chants. I got very impressed by the mystic atmosphere in there.

@@alexanderbenevento4356 You don't need to philosophize any longer once you have the EXPERIENCE of God like this person just described. Belief is no longer necessary. Dogmas, no longer necessary. They are merely fingers pointing to the Moon. Once the "moon" bends down to kiss your soul and you feel that thrill of the Divine in every cell of your mind and body, all of that is unnecessary. You commune directly with God, philosophies and such are mere confirmations and can be jettisoned at any point.

If everyone knew that death had endless cycles of new life, people would be less likely to stick around in circumstances that drain them.
if your life sucks, boom and you're reborn into something you might like this time, maybe even a different planet.if people's lives were never officialy over end their was no separate place like heaven and hell, the people who wap control of the world would be unable to manage masses leaving them helpless.

Gregorian chant sends my spirit up to the heaven each time I listen to it. It's like seeing myself singing and worshiping God along side the Angels. I'm always in awe and reverence of God's splendor.

@Richard Zimmerman actually the Vatican encourages the use of Gregorian chants as the golden standard in the second Vatican council which happened in the 1960s

Been checking out other channels with similar chant loops... this one has to be the best sounding one in my opinion. Listening with my Bose 700 headphones and my mind is blown how amazing this sounds. I feel like I was sitting in the middle of a cathedral... I close my eyes and can see everything so vibrantly as the sound reverberates through the sanctuary giving the shape to the structure... sorry kind went on a tangent there ... clearly mesmerized. I would say these ideas came from Muslim and Jewish practices, as that is where the Catholic church originated, before that Christianity was closer to the Hermetic teachings and principals.

@@alexanderbenevento4356 this doesn't matter. What matters is that we were created from an initial point (this what the big bang theory is based on), and this point, this source, we call it God.
But there is no debate to have. Science explains the mechanisms of the universe, and God's words is the food of the soul, that make you go beyond yourself to live your life in true love.

I'm not a Catholic, I'm a member of the Church of Christ, but I'm in love with these hymns. They feel so much deeper and more spiritual than the ones we sing. It sounds like I've been given a glimpse into Heaven and this is what I hear. I've always been intrigued and fascinated by the Catholic church and its traditions. Cathedrals are some of the most beautiful places in the world to me. It's a shame that I don't get to experience things like this in person regularly. Love the video. Thanks for uploading! ❤

I can relate to your experience. I was raised in a Christian fundamentalist family but haven't gone to church in many years because of my experiences with the church as a child.
My two sons converted to Catholicism after both marrying Catholic girls. I've gone to Mass with them many times. The experience is totally different. I feel at peace when I go. It's very fascinating to me and the architecture and art in the cathedrals are aesthetically and spiritually moving.
Don't bother Katie, I'm an ex Catholic and i got out once i started reading the Bible. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Mary is the 'mother of God' or that you should pray to Mary or the saints. Jesus said "You must pray ONLY to the Father (God) through my name. Look at the commandments...on graven or carved images...Churches are full of them...yet they are forbidden...by God in his Commandments...look it up...and think first...x
@@DesertRat63 I meant like the music itself and the way it sounds. It just makes me feel closer to Heaven. I don't agree with all the extra things the Catholic church put into their worship, I just adore the way their hymns sound and wish that ours sounded more like that.
@@jigglybones3318 fair enough Katie, just don't get too fascinated by the Catholic church and its 'man made' traditions. If only they taught bible scriptures then i may have stayed. But there are so many things wrong with the teachings and beliefs that it was impossible for me. They are not teaching the truth...x

I walk in the park everyday while I listen to music that motivates me. My friend mentioned Gregorian chants yesterday. I put this on today and I was overwhelmed. I have no idea what they were chanting but it brought me to tears. I am not sure if it was the sound, the frequency or God. Maybe all 3.

When I meditate and pray both simple prayers and lengthy hymns I am always with God in his house of divinity amongst others whom have become angles from times of old and present day. It's truly a sight.
The voices are exquisite. I wish we could hear them in their purity without the added reverb and the drone snd the gong.
