The Son proceeds from the Father and the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Son. Catholics worship Christ utterly. Catholicism is the church that Jesus Christ Himself founded. If you Google Justin Martyr, you will find that he was called to the throne of Rome to describe exactly WHAT Christian worship, the Catholic Mass entailed. This was roughly 100 AD. What he describes is EXACTLY the Catholic Mass as it is done today. In 1900 years we have not deviated in form . We do not believe that the Mass is a "meal" as Protestants do. We call it the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Mass is a sacrifice where during Consecration of the Sacred Host, and the Wine, these become for us, the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Just as He said in the Gospel of John. "I am the True bread that came down from Heaven. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life." We Catholics do not think He was using a metaphor, as clearly neither did the people at the time for many left Him after He pronounced this saying "This is a HARD teaching, who can hear it?" If He were speaking in metaphor, no one would be offended. Because He meant it literally, many left Him. We do not perform Bablyonian witchcraft, we reenact the Last Supper with Jesus as the High Priest. Our priest performs the sacrifice of the Mass In Persona Christi. This means as the physical stand in FOR our Lord during the consecration of the Bread and Wine. However it is Christ Himself who does the consecration THROUGH the priest, as He IS the actual priest. Such is hte Mass. Solely focused on our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a Christian religion, through and through, since 1 A.D.

I really enjoy listening to this Gregorian Angelic Choir, puts me in a very calm focused mindset. Reminds me of being inside a cathedral back in my early childhood years. Very well put together piece that just makes this amazing to hear. I wish there were more.

Music might be the language but not Latin it is a nice language but was made up from the Chalkidean language from Ancient Greece Latin took the entirety of its Alphabet and expanded it with a few other new words.
I would like to see the source for that theory. I've seen it originated around or in the Italian peninsula.
The idea is that Hellenic influence in Latin is due to connection via the Ionian sea, after Latin was already a fact.
The Alphabet they snatched from the Etruscans , who took from the Greeks, who took it from the Phoenicians.

Everytime i listen to gregorian chants, i feel like i'm immediately in somewhere, someplace holy, heavenly place. I cant even really explain how i feel, but definitely its a blissful experience.

I'm catholic all my life and hear chants all the time playing music like this on weekends sometimes by the end of the week release stress out of my mind, But I hear them sometimes in Movies too
Its a nice sentiment to hear Muslim’s appreciating Christian art from a neutral-humanitarian context, and we thank those who have shared, yet nonetheless it doesn’t change the fact that the longevity and survival of the European ppl is at stake in their own countries and societies. Islam is an intriguing religion, particularly the Sufi variety, but Christendom is culturally essential (in many ways) for reclaiming stability of the West. I am not a Christian personally. If Islamic populations faced deliberate betrayal by their own leaders, as its own host-culture is ethnically-cleansed and overrun by overwhelming numbers, then the rich distinctive beauty of Islamic peoples would be unable to survive, and sadly disappear from the world’s spectrum of naturally-occurring and meaningful groupings. There can be no diversity without distinction, that is what I’m attempting to convey to the reader. Every race deserves a home designated for them and by them. A place to be at home.

My friend, I am a Christian and they used to say things like" it's Elijah Come back " or something about a rebirth in the Bible indicating they used to believe in reincarnation. Anyway whether it comes from gene memories or rebirth or some type of energy I also believe I lived before as a nun or monk in a monastery very happily. When I get to heaven God will tell me if its true. I only trust God. Because only God knows the truth. It has nothing to do with whether or not you believe in Christ Pixie. If we can only die once how can we be born again? or be raptured and never die even once? No one really knows. Some mysteries will be mysteries until we awaken.😔

I'm dead serious, I haven't taken a day off work in nearly 22 straight months. Today, I just needed to detach myself from it all. I thought about quitting my job, giving up my attempt of a new relationship, and being uncertain of my future. I will take this time to meditate with the aid of this music. As a Muslim, I find Gregorian chants extremely beautiful and peaceful. A lot of my family actually find them depressing, but to me they're calming & actually help me feel a close connection to God. Gorgeous.
