@@itamar1001 if you push your knees down in a sudden and quick motion and lock your joint you can really badly injure your legs to the point where you can’t walk normally. However, there is no problem with extending your legs as long as it is a gradual movement and not with a very heavy weight.
@@davonmulder8458 yea that’s why I said not with a very heavy weight as long as you’re not using a weight beyond your lifting level then it’ll be fine. It is awful though when people do use way to heavy of weights and if someone is scared of doing leg press because of weight then there are better movements like squats anyway
That was a very basic instruction. That angle of leg press attacks the glutes the most. Different foot positioning for placing emphasis on different part of the legs.
This is exactly ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS what I needed to get some exercise while I'm stuck at my desk all day. It's just the right size. Only downsides are that the right oeddale unscrews itself while I use it and increasing the tension causes it to squeak while in use. Both are minor issues that aren't that important to me. So I give it 5 stars.
Reps depend on the weight and whether you want to burn fat, tone or build muscle. 4-6 reps high weight (build) 8-10 reps moderate weight (tone) 12-16 reps lower weight (burn). 3-4 sets and keep to proper form and pace.
DONT LOCK KNEDS
Why

4 sets, 20 reps. Pause for 5 seconds in full extenstion. 30 seconds to 1 minute rest
4 sets with 20 reps in each right?
way to many reps and sets and you need longer breaks

My favorite gym machine
same
I think this variant is as close as you'll get to a hack squat machine
Nice and simple
How large of a range of motion should I do? I’m 5’4 and the weights were doing 8-10 inches of motion is that fine?
Don’t forget the use of an arse plug when going heavy
What's this mechine rate?
His locking his knees too atraight cause injury..
Head not against the pad= poor form.
That's a perfectly fine position, his back is in contact with the padding, putting your head back is an unnatural position and will add nothing.
Is it just me or is awkward asf when your tiny lmao and on this machine I’m literally 4’11 and I feel so weird doing my workout using it 😂
Seated Leg Press is hard on your kidneys.
Concentric eccentric
