He didn't make it into a hard question he dodged it entirely by describing a dictator as "a guy that runs a communist country totally different from ours". First off that's not what a dictator is. Secondly, the US is closer to a communist country than China is. The Chinese have very little corporate regulation, and their corporate tax rate is lower than you have in the states. Long story short, BIden is closer to a communist dictator than Xi is.

It didn't go well. Xi lectured Biden for all the things American foreign policy has been getting wrong for the last 60 years, and Biden instead taking the lecture with humility, stubbornly blurted out exactly what his aides told him not to say. I've heard the diplomatic core of the US have been suffering for a long time under this president, as he works against everything they are trying to achieve.
