Unfortunately he doesn’t get the recognition of the John Fogertys or Bob Dylans, etc, because the heavy dark aspects of his writing, doesn’t fit the status quo. He should be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame, with AIC, as well as The American Songwriters!

He is a survivor of this era. The 90's era music has a very gloomy depressing overtone and sound but that pain led to triumph realization that life is worth living for if you can let the sad feelings pass.

It was a dark era. But my small circle of friends and these bands got us through it. When i listen to this era i feel sadness but triumph as well that i learned something new about myself and me and my friends got through it.

I’ve been listening to AIC unplugged all day because my two year old loves “Down in a Hole.” I listened to that with my dad when I was little, and now this gets released. How absolutely incredible.
