I really appreciate that you give a holistic review of the company as well as the product as support and communication is so often an overlooked aspect of product satisfaction and longevity.
There 's a whole bunch of testers that seem to have received a Kobo Clara Colour and a Kobo Libra Colour. I was just wondering, did you receive them too? Will we be seeing a review on those? I'm a bit surprised that there is such a difference between Kaleido 3 displays. I really thought that colours would be the same on all of them, and that the main differences would be in the screen size, the interface and the speed.
The different is that sunken screens are less additional layers above the eink, the eink is near the surface and color is more to the surface. So do with the e ink devices, the sunken screens have better paperlike feeling than the flat screen e ink (with the additional glass layer above), the eink in this case look deep under the layer of glass.
I saw in one of the reviews on their website that some Chinese forums made the MobiScribe software a lot more responsive, might want to look into that if you have a Mandarin fluent friend.
@@AndreaGangemi I see that my second reply did no go through because of the link. If you go to Imgur, the ID of the screenshot is FNSEhbr. You'll see that they don't give out much about what specifically is meant, but it's a start. There was also someone over on the subreddit who played around trying to find out how the PDF app is made, but I haven't been able to find their comments. I would highly appreciate anyone with more information on this as it may also apply to the Origin model.
@@AndreaGangemi My comment got removed twice already so here's another approach. The ID part (FNSEhbr) of the image I now posted on the page name you get after you take "a" and "e" out of "image" and remove "c" and "l" from "curl", then stick together both words. If you managed to solve that riddle, you'll see that they don't give out much about what specifically is meant in the review, but it's a start. Thanks to your work I've been inspired to get the Mobiscribe Color because it is worth the bad programming to have a Grade A in hardware with waterproof, fast writing, and duration in sleep mode. P.S. Maybe I will even develop a better OS or APK versions to replace the current problems
The tech is out as he said, the panel exists and is being sold. I checked the timeline before, they don't always launch a new 13.3 every year unlike their 10.3 lineups.
Bro’s first impressions and unboxing is 48 mins. Love it lol.

When they released the new Colour wave, they sold it for 298€. Now they’ve marked it to 400€. Overpriced in my opinion. Can get a Tab Mini C for that…
In the States, the B&W is $285, the K2 is $320, & the K3 is $340. The Tab Mini C is $399.99. (These are prices for cover & stylus as well.)

A test comparison of the several devices, color, autonomy...
It would be phenomenal

@@AndreaGangemi I see they changed their website. I'll try to find it some other way.

How long until a review for a 13,3 inch color device comes out?
MooInk has sold them during their preorder. They’ll be delivered in May/June. :-)
