I cannot get over the mindsets of these monsters. You see him in the car visibly grinning talking to the police call handler, then in the next breath please excuse the pun, you hear him asking for leniency because of his asthma. You're not laughing one minute and then pleading for leniency the next on behalf of your asthma
Also why the hell should he get a plea deal. He well deserved the death penalty, as you said the family thoroughly welcomed it. I don't think these plea deals should be permitted in a lawful society.
And poor Andrea who got away with her life. How the police could even believe for one minute that she was partly responsible. The pool girl was terrified. I love what she said to him in court. Good on you girl. RIP Kaylee❤
I think the judge should have the power to override the plea deal in cases like this.
The issue with that is that it could work a few times but once the wider public found out that making a ''deal'' really doesn't mean they will get a deal nobody would do them anymore and then everyone would just remain silent or keep the information that would be given for the deal to happen to themselves. None of these criminals would do anything to help anyone out including the victims family if they wasn't getting something in return.
I don’t think that anyone should be able to create “a deal” that changes the crime that they are sentenced for! I agree that many criminals should be offered the chance to plead guilty for a lower sentence. I would make it: Confess to all the details of the crime & reveal the locations of the crime & the body of the victim. Then plead guilty to your whole crime as charged. Then “a deal” could be :
“Your crimes normally total 40 years in prison before your 1st chance of parole. A deal has been agreed between the court, both sides lawyers & the victims families. You have been awarded a deduction of 8 years, for disclosing & confessing.”
“This will be added to all of the years you get-off in Britain because you had a tough childhood & poor education because you frequently bunked off to go shop-lifting! Your total sentence to be served is 16 years (8 in prison + 8 in the community)
While I’m on my soapbox, I think that individuals who have committed sexual or violent crimes should be banned from changing their name!
What a freak when he said “I’m a decent guy” when saying he wouldn’t sexually hurt her. He was going to until she outsmarted him.

This is a case in point that illustrates my reason for distrusting men in uniform (including security guards, police officers and military). I've worked in law enforcement as a secretary and have also seen countless videos of men in uniform we should be able to trust until they reveal their true monstrous nature. We should feel safe in the presence of these men; however, just because they are in uniform and we should be able to trust them, it's wise be on guard.
What about the guy who called Kayleigh's boyfriend to tell him she was dancing with another guy?!? He, by meddling, caused their argument. If I was he, I'd relocate! J.S.

I hope that person who sent that text to say Kayleigh was dancing with another guy, it’s crazy to think that one act of interference led to the death of Kayleigh, you just shouldn’t interfere especially with such small and ridiculous events. I know that it’s again a sliding doors moment but it’s just heartbreaking that it lead to such a tragic outcome. I take my hat off to Kayleigh’s family who have gone on to honour their daughter in such a beautiful way and I that Kayleigh’s partner has been able to move forward with his life in peace as well because he must have been so heartbroken after learning about the horrific death that Kayleigh had suffered, I wish peace to Kayleigh’s family and friends and all who may have been affected by her death 🕊️🩷🙏🏼🩷🕊️

It’s a shame that some person called kaylees boyfriend to say she danced with some other guy, she wasn’t cheating at all, so what was the point? Some kind of jealousy? If it wasn’t for that call there wouldn’t have been a conflict between kaylee and her bf that night and she wouldn’t have stayed in her car, outside alone, which led to her being kidnapped and murdered. The guilt is with the one committing the crime ofc, but I actually feel like the one calling the bf should feel some guilt, just a little. What a stupid petty moron to call about that shit. Hope they learned their lesson!

I'm from Oregon and I didn't believe in the death penalty until I read about Ted Bundy then I rethought that for extremely dangerous people like him. I don't know why but there was a bunch of serial killers in the Pacific Northwest during that time period that had my mom and aunties were so scared at the time during sixties and seventies. It makes you think that this poor girl would be alive today if it wasn’t was that tittle-tattler who saw her in the bar and stirred up trouble.
Has anyone geard the case of Elizabeth plunkett, she had an argument with her boyfriend, walked out of the pub in a desolate area, in the outskirts of Dublin, she was pocked up by two serial killers on the run from the UK, the story is horrendous, they kept her alive tortured and murdered her, and they did it again. Its a horrifying story, but I think Emma could put the nightmare into perspective.
Can't believe this story its just like a movie omg he is one hell of an arrogant monster he probably only joined the police force just so he could have the freedom to do as he liked and for them to arrest that poor terrified woman who was traumatised by all of that horror movie she's been a part of there needs to be tougher sentences
